Took my dad to emergency room with extreme abdominal pain. After waiting almost 2 hours, they finally saw him. They kept asking how his back pain was. He kept telling them it wasn’t his back. They did an exam, MRI, and determined it must be muscle spasms and sent us on our way after 5 hours with a prescription for lidocaine patches and muscle relaxants. Found out today after a doctor appointment for the same issue that he has a hernia. How in the h*ll did they miss that!?!!! Here’s how: they predetermined that an elderly man in pain must be muscular. No matter what he said. No matter what I said. Don’t go here if you value your health. Two stars only because the nurses were nice.

I'm reviewing my experience with the imaging department at Good Sam Western Ridge. I couldn't find a place that was specific to them but I had such a good experience, I wanted to share. I have had an x-ray there and yesterday an MRI. They were professional, on time and efficient. I was anxious about getting the MRI and Russ was especially friendly and calming and helped me by offering various suggestions to ease my nervousness. It was a bonus that you could actually hear the music they were playing! Also I appreciated that the results of both tests were posted on MyChart quickly.

Most hospitals get poor reviews. It logically makes sense since people only go to them under bad circumstances. That said, we had to come in to the ER for a dislocated shoulder and they took us back almost immediately. The doctor and staff were all very friendly. They did a great job explaining what was going to happen and keeping everyone calm. Considering the circumstances, a great experience. Would highly recommend if you are in need of urgent care.

The nurses were extremely rude, especially when I expressed that I was in pain from them doing a blood pressure test on my arm that I had already said was in pain from having had blood drawn from it, which they also messed up and got blood everywhere. When I expressed concern that it was extremely painful when the nurse was doing the blood pressure check on the same arm she had already drawn blood (incorrectly) from, she asked in an annoyed tone "what hurts?" And when I quickly clarified "my arm" she simply said "oh, well just stop moving it around then". I wasn't moving it around and they obviously should have taken my blood pressure from the other arm that hadn't just had blood drawn from it that I was experiencing pain from. Incompetent, rude, and unprofessional.

Used to have timely service, it's the complete opposite! Expect extremely long wait times after you get called back to a room. Brought my in daughter for cold/cough symptoms after charting and a flu swab we've just been left sitting here for over an hour and a half with no word on anything or attention. They did make sure to send in the financial obligation lady to make sure the billing aspect of the visit is taken care of.. Rude nurses and snooty acting doctor. I'll never come here again unless someone is dying and this is the only place open.. And for some reason the AC is on while it's 36 degrees outside.

Saw Dr Spaz last night-worse experience ever- only goal for him was to tell me I go to hospitals to much- if he actually looks at all the different specialists I have see for all my health conditions I have always taken my pain meds as prescribed. He was arrogant, argumentative, and discriminatory. I told him the only reason I have multiple drs is bc of my complicated medical history. Going to any ER or hospital I want to is not a crime- unfortunately I have gone to some that the doctors are not treating you or blow you off. He would not let me talk and walked out while I was speaking. I need to know how to get certain things removed from my notes bc the things he wrote were absolutely not true and I will be complaining to the medical board.

Went to the ER with some eye pain and swelling. The waiting room was completely empty and they took me back right away to be seen. I got there at the perfect time because people started pouring in after me. The doctor determined I had a small piece of metal in my eye that needed to be removed ASAP. After many obstacles, he was finally able to remove it. He was informative and talked me through the whole thing. I would highly recommend this location and Dr. Knochel

Billing department is WORTHLESS. Double billed, not sent to insurance. Fraud at its finest!! All for me trying too seek help during a tough time, you should be ASHAMED of yourselves. Doctors and nurse are cold hearted people as well.

Have never had a good experience here. Dr. Metzger was extremely unpleasant. Doctors are supposed to want to help people and be nice this guy was rude and looked like he hated his job. The jerk should find a different profession. Also be aware of money grabs I went in with a 102 fever and they tested for Covid of course but before the results even came back they tried to take x rays of my chest and run some other test too to check for pneumonia…wouldn’t it make sense to do one at a time? I refused and saved myself an easy 5k. Doctors judgement and care have diminished in this country and they don’t care about helping people anymore. It’s a 9-5 to them and as long as they get their check they’re fine. No morals. The only good doctor I’ve had in the last 10 years is my family physician doctor.

My experience with Good Samaritan Western Ridge was mid to worse. My initial visit, I was told I had picked a great doctor by the initial registration person who was very friendly. That changed, however, when I encountered the Doctor's nurse. She was cold, rude and downright unfriendly. I continued being cordial, and she "forced" herself to speak to me. When the doctor arrived, she was about as cold as the nurse, but was not rude. Things got worse, as I was given quite a few referrals for other doctors. I thought (due to their website and my insurance's website), these would be covered. Now, I'm facing large medical bills, and they charged me 16 times for one test...and "can't" fix it. The other doctor (via referral), charged for the visit, and did the exact same thing as my Primary Care doctor. All in all, this was one of the worst experiences I've had with TriHealth. It is a fact they don't care about health, they just care about how much money they can make from their patients and their insurance. Do not come here unless your insurance pays everything. This place will put you in financial ruin!

I went in Oct. 25 for Hip pain and leg pain (weakness), I was waiting for a little while , called back for vitals and reason, then sent out to wait. I ended up leaving after I seen people called back who came in after me and decided to leave, I witnessed an amazing young woman in the front (receptionist) who was very attentive and helpful to the others who needed blankets or possibly wheelchairs. (She was so kind), I received my after visit summary even though I left and wasn't actually seen by anyone else and it stated I was there for "backpain), proper documentation is important (medical billing and coding and proper care), my Greater Troch and Hips not back was my chief complaint.

I'm grateful to all the ER Doctors, Nurses, Radiology, Aides, the woman working in CT that morning, EVERYONE INCLUDING Registration and Triage were phenomenal. February 18, 2023. you ALL saved my life that mid morning. I have NEVER received such amazing care as I did that day. Your quick thinking and ability to stop & map out a plan was beyond me. You kept it together when I would of been freaking out if I knew what you did. I'm eternally grateful 🙏. Bless you all

Some nurse was rude and looked down the patient especially a patient on medicaid. This needs to get fixed or losing patients.
