We had such a great experience and day at the Cincinnati Union Terminal. The art deco train station is a marvel to see. The museum is set up so nicely and is easy to navigate. We visited the Natural History Museum and the Nancy and David Wolf Holocaust and Humanity Center. We went early to avoid the crowds and children. Tickets were $22 a piece and entry to the Holocaust and Humanity Center was $3 extra. Parking was $6. In total, I was charged $56. We visited the Holocaust and Humanity Center alone. What a shame that more people aren’t taking advantage of this exhibition. Local survivors from the Holocaust share their memories. It is an extremely moving experience. The museum was incredible. I enjoyed the palaeontology side of the museum with all the artifacts and seeing archeological workers work on artifacts. I also enjoyed the caves and going through the ice age exhibit. I’ve never seen a display of a city like Cincinnati done like quite like the exhibition. It’s remarkable. I can’t say enough good things about this museum. From the architecture, friendly employees to the artifacts on display it’s incredible, but also the Holocaust and Humanity Center is something everyone should see so we stand up and be active upstanders and prevent atrocities like this from ever happening again.

This museum is world class. Truly. In most city museums you’ll find dated displays that show signs of wear and tear. At this particular museum, you’ll be treated to modern, clean, bright, and family-friendly displays. We visited two wings and were stunned at the quality and care that went into the planning of the layout, accessibility, and information available. Interactive displays are found throughout the facility. The displays and rooms just keep going and going - how do they fit it all. This is a fantastic value. We spent 3 hours here with 4 adults and 6 children, and only left because the museum was closing. Kid-friendly all throughout. Well done, Cincinnati.

I could never say enough good things about Cincinnati Union Terminal. The interior is stunning. It literally puts you in a good mood. Go on a sunny day, when the sunlight really lights up the ceiling’s brilliant yellow and orange. There are fascinating historic murals around the inside that are definitely worth a look. Entrance to the visually stunning terminal lobby(but not the museums in the terminal wings) is free.

I’ve come here so many times through the years. My mom brought me as a kid and now I come back with my friends and their kids. Great for adults and children alike. The lobby is truly amazing and my favorite exhibit is the Cincinnati model city (so much detail). It is significantly different since they remodeled, but not in a bad way — just lots more modern. We also interacted with the friendliest, most engaging employee at the Queen City boat exhibit that helped us put together a “brag”. Looking forward to returning.

Simply walking into the building and looking up will take your breath away. This is my favorite museum in Cincinnati. My favorite part is going through the faux cave. This museum is very interactive, tons of fun, and very educational. Anyone of any age will enjoy visiting this museum.

I love the museum center. Their Omnimax is really exciting, and a real treat. I love the caves and the ice age in the natural history section. The children's museum is really neat too, with a miniature section: Kroger grocery , inside a house, dentist, construction site, metro bus and vet office. My daughter loves the water play area- make sure you grab one of the provided smocks to avoid getting too soaked. There's also a big ball pit zone that uses air to float and shoot the balls and is a big hit. For littles, there's a designated toddler zone. The forest maze area is the crown jewel of the children's area, and is always full of little adventurers enjoying themselves. I haven't eaten at the museum in a long time so no comment at this time on the food. Make sure you use the whisper fountains in the rotunda's corners 😉

I so highly recommend checking this place out. There's a few cool museums you can pay to enter for a reasonable price, but even better than that is the free tour of the grounds that runs every hour. Dennis gave us a great rundown of the history of this art deco train station, taking us through rooms and parts of the station you can't access on your own. He had such a passion for it and the building is so well preserved, quite hard to find nowadays. I don't think anything else in Cincinnati beats this terminal and tour.

This is a old train terminal made into 3 museums. 3 levels of very interesting items including: trains, cars, prehistoric animals, children's museum. Scale lit up models of Cincinnati, a trolley car, vintage advertising signs, a restaurant, Jewish Wall of Tears, military history, and so much more. A must to see.

Old guy at the station is awfully mean and will physically threaten you. He can't read the tickets and will get angry with you if you try to help. He seems to have a reputation with the conductors as well. I've rode this line a lot and have seen him pick fights with people 2am, myself included. If he tries, don't engage him.

Got our passes again this year. Hadn't been in a year or two. They've really done a great job with all the new stuff they've added. Can't wait to go back!

Suggest going during the Christmas holidays since they will have the Holiday Junction model train exhibit at that time. This place is not cheap, unless you have a medicaid card, only $2 plus free parking. Food court was not bad, $12.99 for a burger w/fries.

I have been in love with this building and the museums since they first opened. I am originally from Cincinnati and came often when I lived here. I have moved about 11 years ago and miss this place dearly. Just was in town to see family and had to come to my absolutely favorite place in Cincinnati. The building alone, inside and out, is worth the visit. 1930’s Art Deco theme has always been a favorite of mine. The murals and the ceiling of the Grand Rotunda are just beyond words to me. I can’t stop looking up. Each museum is so informative and has so many amazing displays. I mean, to actually feel like you’re walking through a glacier, an ancient forest, a cave with waterfalls and stalactites and stalagmites is amazing! To have the whole city of Cincinnatifrom the 1930’s in miniature with the trolleys, inclines, trains, people dressed for the time period, businesses, just every detail is so perfect! Having an old trolley car to walk in and sit down in as well as having a full sized boat with storefronts and the old cobblestone streets? So cool. The service from the museum staff is super friendly and helpful. The Museum store always has beautiful and interesting stuff. I am not sure how one could not be in Love. ❤️

I love this place for weekend visits and I always see something new. This year we had the company party there and they did a great job taking care of the guests with catered meals and entertainment.

We had a great time at the Omnimax Secrets of the Sea show followed by the Bricktionary exhibit. There were no crowds on a lovely Saturday afternoon and my nephew and I had an excellent adventure!
