I loved this park, it has lot of activities for kids especially a water play area at center of the park. Parking has ample space. Clean and very well maintained. Safety place to visit till the lights go off. After dark we were there with kids but felt not ok to stay long with kids during dark hours. We went on Friday evening and Sunday evening on July 3rd week. Weather and walk along the river was a nice setup. During twilight time the light on bridge and its reflection was nice to watch on the water after dark. There were ample lighting and temporary restrooms walkable on the park. Overall you can safely visit with kids till little over dark and make your picnic or trip a memorable one.

What a beautiful park! So much to do here for kids and dogs. It makes for a great walk on a weekend. Not too crowded and filled with activities for kids. There’s even swings that look onto the water.

BEAUUUUU…TI…FULLLLL!!!!! 😮😮 I am not sure when or what year Cincinnati started investing serious money into sprucing up the downtown riverfront area, but, I was BLOWN AWAY!!!! IT IS SO GORGEOUS DOWN THERE NOW!!! In between the stadiums is just AWESOME looking!!! WOW!!! All the fountains, waterfalls, creative water features, flowers, gardens, landscaping!!!! I needed somewhere special to take my Sweetie for our wedding anniversary night, and so I thought about just parking and walking along the river, having NO IDEA the level of beauty we were in store for! It has been YEARS since I was last in the downtown Cincy area, prob back in 2000. So, naturally, I was very pleasantly surprised with what I saw there now! Smale Riverfront Park is SO beautiful, SO creative, and yes, SO romantic now.

Smale Riverfront Park in Cincinnati is a gem along the Ohio River. Its scenic pathways, playgrounds, and events make it a perfect urban escape. Family-friendly and well-maintained, it's great for picnics and leisurely strolls. A must-visit for a refreshing day outdoors!

I love the scenery here and the walking paths. It’s right downtown so it’s easy to get to downtown restaurants and ball parks. The flowers are always pretty and it’s always well taken care of

A great park near downtown Cincy. It’s also by the Ohio river. It’s a huge park with walking paths and biking paths as well. There is a garage right in front of the park which is very convenient. A nice place to have a evening stroll.

I love this place. I don't have any pictures of the swings by the river, but those are my favorite. The views of the sunsets are amazing. The fountains all lit up after dark are a must-see, as well. And they have a new walk-through garden thing and a playset area. If you haven't been yet, definitely check it out.

Spectacular park along the banks of the Ohio River ! 🤩There's a great walking/biking trail along the river, you can get up close views of the bridges, see beautiful roses in a rose garden, see water fountains, swing on bench swings, use public restrooms there, and maybe even try out food concession stands and sooo much more. F-U-N ! ❤️👏🌤️👍🤩🌞😁💯🌹🏙️

Very nice walking path for all ages. It is tough in spots to find ramps when the elevators are out though.

Really nice spot to walk around with play places for the kids. Beautiful flowers. The water in the splash areas is really cold but on a hot day, nice!

Great area to visit. They have something for everyone. Playground for the kids, close to the river and good walkways. Also lots of great picture opportunities. Parking is right across the street. Which is hourly and not to bad priced if no event is going on.

Beautiful place for a perfect family time. Very close to downtown but not a lot of hustle. Views from the John Roebling suspension bridge is breathtaking. The park is very clean and loads of activities for kids. Evening just before the sunset gives u some stunning views of Ohio River and the downtown. Must visit.

The beautiful walking area on the riverfront, see the bridge, play, do a picnic, and enjoy with family and friends. We stayed there till 10 pm, in the night. Didn't feel fear, or worrying the situation.

If you want a GREAT photo of the John A Roebling Bridge this is the place to start and enjoy your search for that perfect shot. The bridge is lit up beautiful at night and from this park you get a great view of it, the Ohio River, and the Cinci downtown skyline behind you. One thing to be mindful of though is this is a popular place. There are a lot of great nice people walking around enjoining the park, the activities, and taking in the scenery. But there are others who make the experience less than enjoyable, and I’ll leave it at that. The park is well lit up and it is easy to feel safe but just be mindful if you scare easy. But it is truly worth the shot to check this place out
