Just
wanted
to
take
a
minute
to
let
everyone
know
about
the
strange
encounter
I
had
here
on
June
19th.
My
food
turned
out
great,
and
the
store
felt
well
maintained
and
clean.
Its
my
first
time
eating
here
but
my
fiance
orders
catering
for
her
company
frequently
from
Moes,
she
also
grabs
lunch
here
about
once
a
week.
She
suggested
we
eat
lunch
at
Moe's.
Everything
was
great
until
we
went
to
Check-out.
The
person
who
was
ringing
us
up
was
probably
a
manager
or
a
shift
lead,
we're
not
sure.
We
didnt
catch
his
name,
but
the
best
way
to
describe
him
was
he
was
tall
with
a
cane.
Here's
where
things
got
weird.
When
checking
out
the
man
asked
us
of
we
were
military.
I
said,
"No,
im
a
veteran."
He
then
asked
to
see
my
ID,
and
I
presented
it.
I
carry
a
tan
DD2765,
which
is
for
100%
disabled
veterans
ID
card.
Myself
being
a
disabled
combat
veteran
this
is
the
appropriate
card
to
carry.
This
gentlemen
being
the
expert
that
he
is
decided
to
call
me
a
dependant.
Then
proceeded
to
try
to
grill
me
about
my
service
and
duty
locations
thinking
he
is
going
to
catch
me
for
stolen
valor
or
something.
I
dont
know.
He
then
decided
to
present
his
veteran
ID
in
some
attempt
to
have
a
gotcha
moment
and
explain
that
he
was
some
sort
of
a
veteran
in
his
own
right.
My
words
cannot
articulate
how
belittling
and
embarassing
the
interaction
felt
to
me
and
my
fiance.
I
found
the
entire
interaction
insulting
and
degrading.
When
my
fiance
and
I
sat
down
she
mentioned
how
incredibly
rude
and
tense
the
interaction
was.
I
agreed,
I
thought
it
was
probably
the
most
disrespectful
encounter
ive
ever
had
at
a
check-out.
The
two
young
men
who
helped
prepare
our
food
were
excellent,
friendly,
and
seemed
to
enjoy
what
they
were
doing
and
were
clearly
working
well
together
as
a
team.
We're
not
even
sure
if
we
got
a
discount
as
after
our
card
was
rung
he
just
abruptly
walked
away
and
then
started
belittling
or
talking
to
his
employees
in
a
condescending
tone.
We
never
got
a
receipt,
or
a
thank
you
for
coming.
To
be
clear
Im
not
even
concerned
about
a
discount,
its
great
when
a
business
will
throw
a
bone
for
veterans
but
it
wouldnt
exclude
me
from
visiting
a
restaurant.
My
issue
was
the
incredibly
rude
service
I
received.
For
this
reason
I
will
not
come
back.
I
would
encourage
the
company
to
reach
out
to
me
if
any
clarification
is
needed.
