The individuals who run the Travel Inn are decent people. They were polite and helpful during my entire stay here. However, the establishment and environment are of low quality. This is a place for people who are seriously struggling to get on their feet, it is not a hotel to use while on vacation or visiting Ft. Wayne. The typical issues you will find here are the main characteristics of a community in poverty. Drug addiction, crime, and people who are seriously mentally ill. However, there are individuals here who utilize the low rates to become more established and escape their difficult situations. I would have given an additional star but I feel that would indicate this is an establishment that is worth staying in and except for the most extreme situations, it is not. Unless you need to be here, don't come here.

One star is being more than generous. Our air conditioner didn't even work. He was like in the 80s and 90s every single day one day. One day it even reached the 100s. My husband and I would sweat to death because he was so hot in that room. We had to take freezing cold showers just to stay semi cool. A fridge and microwave we're told would be in every single room. We had no fridge or microwave. When my husband went down to ask about it he informed them that I was on insulin and needed a way to keep it cool. They said they would move us to another room. They didn't. The carpet was filthy. You had to wear flip flops just to get out of bed. The sign says free cable. There is absolutely no TV stations, but there's a TV in the room. This place wasn't worth the money we paid to stay there. My husband I couldn't wait to leave.

Dont stay here. The staff are extremely rude and will tell you to your face that they dont need your business. They have leaky roofs so expect to get wet during your stay. Also their a/c units dont work half the time. The a/c units will automatically change even when they arent supposed to. The a/c units will beep constantly throughout the night. Bed bug are a serious issue at this hotel. Yes it is the cheapest hotel in the city. But you pay for what you get I guess.

They rent to u for $240 and it’s like a package deal here, you get Bipolar wifi that maybe will give you a “refresh the page” page You get a free complimentary no breakfast for the $40 out of the $200 And as a loving add on from the owners themselves, free insect pets, ant farms and free honey from real bees! As a note to make your stay better, pack a fly trap for safe keeping’s! And enjoy your stay ☺️😉 Aka: they’ll keep the lice on for ya..oops I mean light 🫢 💡

Room key didn't work, so one person had to stay because the manager was never around to help open the door. He made no efforts to change the battery in the door or anything. Holes in the walls and doors as well as items from previous people left behind. Red stains on the carpet look like there were no attempts to remove it. Bathroom door won't shut as the latch is broken. The sink drain pipe dripped on the l floor making it dangerous to stand by. Broken floor trim behind sink. Floor was also sticky both carpet and tile. Daily rate is not $25 per night as listed on their sign. Good left behind in mini fridge as well. Door room latch was sticky and room want even closed when first entered. Holes in bed sheet that appear to be cigarette burns. Also holes in the curtain from similar cigarette burns. No place for trash provided. Broken furniture. No wash cloths provided for shower usage. Did receive deposit back at the least.

Horrible rude management that walks into your rooms. Steals out of rooms. And the maintenance man mike does absolutely NOTHING aside of fighting with his wife in the parking lot bc she doesn't watch their kid per him.... I have to flush my toilet by sticking my hand in the back of the toilet and lifting the freaking lifter thing bc they DONT KNOW HOW to fix it and REFUSE to call a person to fix it..... The have roaches so badly they crawl around the stair case in the day time.

I showed up around 5 charged 65$ for not phone a dirty tub no toilet paper and of coarse you think there is an ice machine or more than my one brown towel, they don't even have the towels to accommodate the rents here. Not to add as he walked me to my room and said don't open the door the homeless will rob you. For 65 yeah right maybe 35

This place has no truck and trailer parking, can't connect to WiFi and has only local channels (no cable or streaming services) Bed was comfortable but toilet leaked and stunk badly in the room and I had to leave and end my business sooner than expected.

Very unkind to those who are not making enough money to survive. Was asked to leave and did not get my deposit back after I did nothing wrong, had someone waiting outside my room for me that was it.

This place is our go to we love it it's like dinner and a show

I tried staying here for a week I forgot to get my receipt and was told I had to leave day early even tho I had other proof of payment wouldn't recommend either way bathroom sink was broke they don't keep up with maintenance either

I would give Travel Inn 0 stars. This place is full of roaches, even in the microwave, very gross. And there was no smoke detector in the room, there was no hot water. The place look beat up.

I had a bad reaction to a very expensive medicine that was prescribed by one of the hospitals in FW it put blisters on my body down my throat and I was taken back to the place I was staying by my ride then the ones I was staying with threw me out because I was seeing things so I ended up wabbling down the side of the highway in the middle of the night anyways I ended up going to a motel and sat there for a while. I wondered off and left my medicine my keys and whatever else there I ended up calapsed on the ground but before I calapsed I asked someone to call 911 anyway after about 3 days I went back to the motel and asked for my keys and? and they told me that they saved it for me but they could not find it so I was out all of it. I am leaving a lot out but that's what kind of place that is.

Very dirty, crowded with garbage didn't even stay. Basically drove in and drove out

The owners are very nosy. They don't allow you have anyone over. Quick to call the police on you before trying talk about it.

If you like to rent a motel room full of Cockroaches and mold, this is definitely the place for you.
