👍👍 We stumbled into this low key cafe this evening and had a great meal. The smoked haddock and mushroom risotto was really light and fluffy - we highly recommend. Planning on returning tomorrow night. People often mention soup, chips, fish, cafe, staff, quality, meal, served, price, refund,

We were drawn in by the large chalkboard outside advertising garlic mussels and as that was a family members favourite we went in. Instantly we felt unwelcome by the staff for some reason who were sat at a table on their mobile phones and a man at the till looking blankly at us as he counted money. It felt as though they may be closing but it was only 16:00. We sat down with menus, one male member of staff periodically looking up from his phone towards us for no particular reason, and began seeing prices such as £17 for Cullen Skink. Disturbing the money counting man again to ask how much the garlic mussels were he informed us that they actually didn't have any left. After that we decided to leave as the whole experience was unwelcoming to say the very least and we left the staff (I assume they were staff as they were all behind the counter at one point between sitting and browsing their mobile phones and no uniform in sight). I think we dodged a bullet and will not be back here at all.

Absolute junk, soup was a tin of green giant niblets whizzed and the toastie was straight from a brevil, no attention or interest shown and when you see cheese n chips on the menu you know your in the wrong place. Abandon all hope those who enter here !!! 🤢🤢 Having read some of the “Fake 5* “ reviews, I have come to the conclusion that a) the owners write them b) they are paying people to write them. I spent 14 years in the Merchant Navy and have eaten in various establishments all over the world, good and bad, and can say that this place is without doubt the worst “cafe” I have ever made the mistake of entering. Ignorant staff and quite happy to rip off tourists by serving up s…e !!

It was a great option when everything else was fully booked, or had 1h waiting lines. The current score doesn't really do Cafe 115 justice, as the owner was polite and nice. The grilled haddock I ordered was tasty. The pizzas weren't the best, but for some hungry tourists they were just fine. I say give Cafe 115 a chance.

Visited Cafe115 at Fort William as a tourist. Not sure what we should order and instead of offering more info on the food to help us decide, a senior waiter ask us to stand aside if we are ready! Menu only has 2 choices of soup. Lentil soup at £4.5 and a fish soup at £12. Both soup was served with a slice of bread and butter. The fish soup was served hot. The soup is diluted and small portion for the price paid. I took a sip and it was very very salty, not for human consumption and certainly not for those with hypertension. Brought the soup to the counter and informed the young cashier that it is very salty and ask if it can be made less salty. Cashier replied that they are unable to do so and told me to select a replacement from the menu. I asked if I need to select something of the same price. He said not necessary, and they will do a refund on the difference if the selection is less than £12. I selected the lentil soup. While waiting for the lentil soup to be served, an older waiter brought the fish soup back to the table and insisted that there is nothing wrong with the soup and insisted that I have to take it. After I explained that the soup is too salty, he walked off unhappy, leaving the fish soup on the table. The lentil soup was served subsequently. It was warm and diluted but eatable. After finishing the soup, have not receive the refund. Approached the young cashier and he said : yes, the refund. Asked me to wait and he disappeared. The senior waiter came to the cashier. He refused to give the refund. I said that is not fair as the other cashier said I could change to something else and get a refund on the difference in price. After arguing for a while, he reluctantly refund a £5 instead of £7.5. I went away feeling cheated. Both the soup are overpriced in view of the poor quality and the small amount served. Now I know why the low rating. It is contributed by the poor attitude and lousy service of the senior waiter. The worst service that I’ve experience in my 10days in UK.

We ended up eating here because there were no other places with tables. Honestly, we just showed up in town for dinner and went restaurant to restaurant. Tables were available here, so we took a chance. Service is a mix of order at counter and table service. To young lads were running front of house. Both were polite. We ordered the fish and chips, vegan burger (with cheese), and chicken nuggets with chips. All of the food was good quality. The vegan burger was beet based and same quality to what we make at home. The atmosphere could use some work, but don't let that scare you away. Prices were also a definitely tourist surcharge. We enjoyed our quiet, tastey meal on the bustling street.

Should of put £31.00 down the toilet,2 x fish and chips which came with chopped lettuce ?, outside on the board "Traditional fresh fish and chips " the small handful of chips were frozen chips it was the worst I have ever had staff didn't speak as I would of told them how disgusting it was .On the way out I advised the customers entering not to bother they thanked me and went to weatherspoons which we should of Done for half the price .

Not particularly welcoming atmosphere and food was quite plain with small portions in relation to price. Drank cola out of the can as the glass with which it arrived was dirty. Provided an adequate lunch but nothing more. Would not visit again.

Coffee was tasteless and the coffee cups looked like were never cleaned. Ordered bagels with salmon but sadly the taste was terrible. It felt like salmon was not really fresh.

I don't understand the bad reviews. Food was nice and what we expected. We had chips which were sooo much better than the average chips in the UK. We had a fish soup which looked and tasted nice and a toastie. Fresh, warm food. Regarding the service, it is a cafe, not first class restaurant, you order at the counter, worked great for us. I am sure you can eat cheaper in Fort William but we enjoyed our food.

The prices charged does not match the quality nor quantity. The fish was overcooked. We felt that it may have been fried twice perhaps to reheat after being cooked previously. The chips were very poor quality cheap stuff that can be bought at any supermarket. All in all, you would not get value for the money you spend. There are many better places to have a decent meal around. I wish I had read the reviews before I stepped in this café.

Low quantity and disappointing quality, especially considering that prices are not particularly low; we found the atmosphere to be rather unwelcoming; my friend asked whether she could have potatoe wedges instead of chips (of course with extra charge), but no! Two instead of one stars because the smoked haddock was good.

Staff rude, food over priced and very average. Bread was stale. Coffee was awful, waiter became aggressive when I complained. Place was not particularly clean. Terrible experience

Small portions which were overpriced and over cooked. Why advertise an all day Scottish breakfast which wasn’t served all day. Had fish and chips instead, if I was being generous I’d say there were 10 chips hidden under my very well done fish….. at least it was hot.

Although the cafe is small the atmosphere it’s self is quite big, my first impression of the cafe is that it was run by teenage boys, although that’s should be alarming they were well managed and eager to have us seated, the cafe was clean. The food it’s self was lovely with minor issues, the sandwiches didn’t come with a variety of bread which may turn away those with allergies, the soup was fantastic and consumed quite quickly by those in my outing, the portion sizes are decent and well seasoned. The only issue we had with our meal was the amount of cheese in the sandwich was over powering however that can be down to personal preference. The cafe is a nice little spot while exploring fort William

Meh. It wasn’t horrible, but I’m kinda miffed I paid £15 for what I’m fairly certain was a frozen pizza. I’m sure there’s heaps of better options, but our kid was hungry and everywhere else way lined up.

Worst coffee snd food I’ve had since I came on holidays! Soup was watery and tasted like canned soup. Charged extra 50 pence for gluten free bread. Think my other food had been sitting there for hours under a light. YUK!

This guy literally buys his whole menu from aldi, a mean fair play I woulda been happy if I was in Thailand. However please don’t advertise aberdeen Angus burgers like you went to the local butchers when we got straight out the freezer. Refund given because he knew. Please stop cutting corners in Scotland when we’re used to prime meats and will pay the prices if it’s received as expected. Feel sorry for the guy as his rates are probably high but this place is failing miserably.

It was the best Scottish breakfast I’d had in all my time in Scotland. Friendly staff, delicious food

We had a good experience here. It is a cafe/takeaway. The atmosphere is plain but it was quiet and quick, which is what we needed after a busy day of touring. There was a large party (12) who sat shortly before us, so we were unsure how long we might have to wait for our order but it wasn’t long at all. The staff were welcoming and checked on us a couple times after our delicious fish and chips arrived to be sure we were satisfied. We ordered a pizza to go as our 16 yr old stayed back at the guesthouse and they made sure it was hot and fresh and ready just as we finished our meal. He thought it was a unique combo chicken/jalapeños and was happy to devour it. Thank you!

I was weary of the venue after seeing the 2.1 rating. Stumbled in, as there was no restaurant or pub in the area with availabile seating. Ordered fish & chips and grilled haddock for lunch. Both were absolutely delicious!! We were very happy with our food. We subsequently had fish & chips at a more well rated restaurant in Isle of Skye and felt, the food here was very comparable and quite delicious! I would totally disagree with the 2.1 rating and would recommend you try the food at this cafe 👍🏼

Went into this cafe for a quick bite to eat before our boat trip. Staff were friendly, food was fresh with a lovely fast service. Dog friendly as well which is always a bonus. Highly recommend!

Average food and drink. Good lunch time fuel stop. There is seating on ground floor and a basement down with 2 flights of stairs - approx 8 tables there.

Waaaay overpriced for frozen low quality burgers and nasty coffee that was still priced higher than the likes of Costa and Starbucks. Staff were pleasant enough. But the food was low quality, it actually angered me at how much it cost for what I received.
