I trained for about 4.5 years in Colorado before I moved to Texas, so I had a pretty high standard because I trained at the same gym with the same crew for a while. My transition to this gym exceeded my expectations in many ways! This gym is phenomenal, the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and the kids class is coached by outstanding people who have so much patience. If you are on the fence with trying a class for yourself or you child, just do it, you will love it!

My son and I started Jiu jitsu here about 4 months ago. I tried 2 other locations before deciding to go with Rockstar and I have to say this was by far the most informative and most welcoming location I been to. Both adult and kids coaches are amazing. Coach Josh, Laura, and Michael are all very helpful. Coach Josh is kick a**. I got brave enough to put my son and I in a tournament to get a taste of the sport and they were very supportive and came out to coach and support us. Another thing I love about this location is the higher belts are not there to just beat you down. They will let you work your new moves and assist you as you go. I can highly recommend this location to anyone. They made it easy to love Jiu jitsu.

Coach Josh and Coach Laura definitely represent the definition of what Rockstar presents. They have brought a great platform to the Prosper area and are fantastic people. Our family looks forward to the many moments on the mat with them.

I absolutely loved training here, Coach Josh & Laura made me feel at home from the first class. It has a very welcoming environment and the people who train are very friendly too. It’s a great place to train no matter your BJJ goals, whether you’re a hobbiest or want to compete. If I ever move back to the area, it’s not question where I am going to train.

We are thrilled with the level of attention and legitimate training our 8 year old receives at RockStar in Prosper! The coaches show genuine interest in the kids and they take time to teach life skills like discipline and focus (which we love). Rockstar was an excellent place for my son and I to experience the world of Jiu Jitsu. Everyone was very helpful and Coach Josh leads a very knowledgeable and supportive coaching staff. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking into giving it a try.

I am new to the area and very fortunate to have found Rockstar Martial Arts for my 5 yo son. I’ve been considering a BJJ training program for him to help with his self confidence and give him bullying awareness. When I happened to walk past Rockstar and saw Coach Josh engage with the kids, I knew it was the right place. I was very impressed with Coach Laura and Josh in the time they took to learn about my son and what my goals were for him. Bravo on that professionalism. My son loves the program and interaction with the other children as teammates. I’m gonna get myself in there to start training shortly as well. My son has been an inspiration to me.
