I absolutely LOVE this company. Alamo Drafthouse is a great place to see a movie. I do wish that they were a little more like Movie Tavern where you could order your food ahead of time so you don't have to touch pens that have been used by others. (especially because we're in a pandemic) The food is great, and I have a gluten and lactose allergy. They got my order correct, and that does not happen everywhere. The staff is polite and kind. The box office ticket operator was even kind enough to take the photo I uploaded. One of the BEST places in town to see a movie. Clean, respectful and comfy. Great quality!!!

The location is a bit small, but the theaters a pretty big. Servers are very knowledgeable about the menu and the movies playing. Food and drinks are great and everything came out fast. Theater is in a great spot, plenty of parking and so close to the hotel, I just walked to the theater. Only downside is their is no Iobby with seats

We love Alamo Drafthouse. By far the best movie theatre in Denton! We always enjoy the movie themed clips they play before the movie. It is adorably decorated, friendly staff, clean and super comfortable chairs! The food is really tasty but is unfortunately a bit over priced. I wish it was more affordable! Especially the sodas. Even though this is consistent across all movie theaters for being over priced, $6 for a soda is a bit outrageous. Their unlimited popcorn for $10 is a good deal though. We typically just get waters and popcorn. We got the movie passes for the month of July and it was awesome being able to see as many movies as we wanted for $20 a person (plus processing fees). Very happy to have an Alamo Drafthouse in Denton and hope to see it successful for many years to come.

I have seen many movies here and they offer the best popcorn in my opinion. You can get it seasoned and have the option of real butter rather than oil. Their food is fantastic and for very big movies they often have specialty items that are fantastic. It has been the best theater experience that I have been to.

Neat theater, but they charge so much for everything... We paid over $15 a seat and the leather on all the headrests were peeling. It was gross. I would think they would maintain the theater for how much money they charge for tickets and food. Burger was over $16 and was average at best. Pizza was $17 and was cold and missing toppings. They need to step it up at this price point or lower prices. Total date night for two cost: $130+ included two tickets, one appetizer, one order of wings, two beers, one soda, a burger, and a pizza. Berbere wings were best food item.

Aersome spot to see a movie. I would recommend going here even if it is a bit of a drive. The service is great and it's so different than other movie theaters. Also you can't beat the unlimited popcorn deal or the season pass.

Very disappointed in the staff here. First and likely last time going. Went to see a 6:30 showing of the new John Wick movie yesterday in theater 5. Not a SINGLE person came by the entire movie to take an order. Just would have expected some level of service after spending $40 on a pair of tickets. Just wow.

Interesting theater. I like the movie and dinner concept in some theaters. Went to see Barbie Movie in a group. It was easy to get seats and the line was short at the entrance. Simple sized theater with basic selections for food and popcorn. The popcorn options are nice though. I got the churro popcorn and it was pretty good. The sound in the theater is appropriate and the color on the screen is not overwhelming. Cool experience.

Awesome location! The theatre was clean, staff was friendly and attentive, and best of all they had a themed menu for our movie! Our seats reclined but no heaters. Also, I wish the food trays could swivel and get a little closer. Other than that, they are a great destination for your next movie. (wish I had a better picture to share)

The movie was great, but the service was even better. The staff worked very hard to care for us without being overbearing. They were kind and attentive. The seating area and table were clean, and the food was good. My favorite was the boozy milkshake; I highly recommend!

This was our first time here, just my wife and I. I've always wanted to try an Alamo Drafthouse, and I can say it exceeded expectations! We'll include some advice/tips for newcomers. We got there about 30 minutes before our movie started, got our tickets from the kiosk, and headed to our theater. We did the Big Show, and it was well worth it! The seats are numbered based on the theater, row, and seat. So, like ours, if you were in theater 5, row 4, seat 24, you'd be looking for seat 5424. The seats were very comfortable, menu was in the table between us, and order sheets and pens at the front of the table. They have so many selections, including basic popcorn and drinks if you like to go for the classic movie going experience (popcorn and drinks are bottomless!). The staff was pretty quick to get our order, and took our card to charge us (kind of like keeping a tab, because you can order food and drinks throughout the movie). Drinks came back quickly, then food. Movie started, the quality of the picture and sound were fantastic! If you want to order a refill or something else off the menu, all you have to do is grab an order sheet, write what you need, and place it at the front of the table standing up. Their staff will see it and get it to you quickly. One tip on this, the closer you sit to the kitchen, the faster they'll get to you - the kitchen in this theater was on the left side. Near the end of the movie, they'll bring you your check, you can tip, etc. Overall, very reasonable for a date night, and worth the price for the experience. We will be coming back for future dates! Or, if they have any movie events we're interested in!

Alamo is my go to spot for seeing a movie. Their menu selection and food is top notch, their sound systems are amazing and their laser projector screens don't disappoint. It's super easy to get a ticket through their app and at the kiosk and they like to spice things up with movie themed menus, events that are super cool if you're looking for something different and a bunch of other stuff as well. It's the only place I really like to watch movies, I'll go other places but I prefer Alamo over them all.

First time at this place and was pleasantly surprised! They have a full service bar with food being served, although it was a little small. Still better than waiting around with a bunch of rugrats running around. Pricing for drinks was a little high, but worth it for a date night. Service was friendly and great. We saw Dr Strange, so it was not a first run, so the seating was a little closer than I would like. Still had the nice recliners and a nice table in-between, attached, just in front of your seats. We ordered fries and a pizza. Both were better than expected! The waiter was very cool and the food delivery people stay hidden so it does not interfere with the movie. The bill dropped towards the end. Once again, we could have gone to a couple of movies on what it cost, but the experience was worth it for date night. Will be back!

We didn't know what to expect, so it far exceeded anything we anticipated. So clean. Streamlined design. In auditorium 5, full recliner seats with a table for every two seats. Full service wait staff. Full menu. I highly recommend getting tickets directly from their website ahead of time.

All 4 of us loved what we ordered off the menu although it was a little slow getting our drinks refilled. They only had one bathroom which was the family bathroom open so it gets a line. Overall the place was clean seats were comfortable and sound system in theater was great.

We love going to this Alamo Drafthouse! Our last visit, Aaron was an awesome server with spectacular customer service. I took the survey after our visit and noted that the food and drinks could’ve been improved upon for the price and Jacob promptly reached out (which I wasn’t expecting) and his hospitality and customer service was far above and beyond my expectations and wayyyy above what the standard of service is today. The people at this location are exceptional and we’ll keep coming back because of them.

It's a great experience to see movies here. They provide a comfortable experience and it's a nice bonus to order off of the menu before and during your movie. Service has usually been very friendly and attentive. The price for the food and tickets are a little higher, but it's a more exclusive experience than going to a cheaper theater.

Overall pleased with this location, but the service can be hit-or-miss. I won’t blame the individual servers, though, since there may be a staffing/seating issue out of their control. Alamo is still my favorite place to see my top film draws in Denton, so I don’t hesitate to recommend it!

Love the theater's vibe, and helpful staff. My only issue would be how much they charge for a regular size soda, the same as you would get from any restaurant. $7 is too much, I know this is a normal price for regular theater... It's just too much for the size of the soda you get. That being said I do love this theater! It's the only one I go to.

This one negative thing really kills all the positive. Theater 1 is a sauna. Which I guess is good for those that are ready for a little taste of summer. But by the looks of the sweaty miserable faces of those leaving the 4 hr lord of the rings movie we were not. After the first movie I was really hoping it was a fluke..or maybe just me. However when I brought it up to staff before the 2nd movie I was told, yeah unfortunately there isn't much they can do when the theater is full it just gets hot. It was miserable. I really want to like this place since the servers were on top of it and friendly. Its close by, I like the themed clips at the beginning of the older movies. The themed drinks at the bar were cute too. Food is pricey but good. The 2 stars is mainly for the amazing servers running their butts off in the sauna

This place is everything. It's basically like watching a movie from the comfort of your home except you have servers that deliver everything to you so you dont have to get out your seat at all. Our waiter and servers were super nice. The food was really good. My wife enjoyed her adult beverages. They offer free refills on popcorn and drinks for the entire movie. It was an awesome experience. I was skeptical about going since my last movie experience was not an enjoyable one. People talked and laughed through the entire movie. This one was great!!!! I'll definitely return!!!!!

The cinema aspect is very cool! The previews related to the movie you are about to view. The food is priced high like all movie theaters. Popcorn was a bit stale when we went. And all the money they make on food prices and ticket prices you think they would maintain the place better. The seats were peeling and leave pieces on your shirt when you get up. The temperature in the theater was sticky. For the cost I'd like to be a bit more impressed.

Went to see Smile with some friends since it was the latest showtime in Denton after I finished rushing through homework. The tickets for 3 people was about 50 bucks. Not sure why it was so expensive but we did not buy any food. Everything was luxurious and well put together. May have to try it again to see if it’s worth the money.

Great movie/dining experience. Very nice theater and the food and drinks were really good, too. As crazy as it sounds, the popcorn was outstanding... and covered in real butter, not oily, yellow goop. We'll definitely be going again.

Alamo drafthouse is easily my favorite cinema, the popcorn is good, the seats recline, and the screens are amazing. I saw Everything Everywhere All At Once at a special screening and it was incredible. The sound system is awesome and they have lots of cool previews and specials before the films. I was visiting from out of town but it was a great experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Jessica :)

Never been to a cinema where they bring food to you. Had a nice cold beer with fish n chips. Really good stuff! It wasn't a huge portion, but the 'pickle fries' appetizer was plenty to offset that. Staff was very polite and friendly. Ordering tickets online was easy breezy. Looking forward to another visit when I'm in the area so I can try some other things. Gonna have to bring the whole gang.

Love to visit and see related flicks to the scheduled movie. But getting to the point that the cost of the ticket plus drinks, a burger and popcorn for a family of 3 is becoming a 100 Plus dollar experience. Perhaps streaming movies is the better Price in the future. Not my choice but logical option.
