I have naturally fine, curly hair, and Valdeh cut extremely uneven layers. Unfortunately, the only way to remedy this was to cut off 6 inches of my hair. I requested a simple trim from Valdeh, and he charged me $500 (this price was NEVER disclosed to me before). He also charged me for the time I was waiting for him to complete his previous client's hair. Valdeh has a lot of great reviews on Google, Yelp, etc.. I did my research before booking with him. I have a hard time believing any of these reviews are real. Please be careful when booking with this salon. I was unable to locate his cosmetology license online, and I have subsequently reported him to TDLR. He was unable to accept that he did not cut my hair well, he claimed I was lying, didn't want to pay, etc..(I paid him in full and have no motivation to lie). Beware of this salon, and please tell your friends with curly hair to beware of this salon!

Appointment for partial highlights. Was charged $650 !! hair dresser "V" said he had to do a color correction which was highlights and a toner. When I left the salon it was dark and my hair was still wet, the following day and weeks my hair looked like nothing had been done. emails to "V" the owner to let him know, he did not offer to repair or return my money. $650 for what was not done is excessive and will not return to this salon. Suggest you get the amount he is going charge up front - not when you are checking out. It's a Russian roulette on his pricing. There are other curly hair dressers that are less expensive and do a fab job.

Best haircut I have ever had! Valdeh took his time explaining and teaching me about all of the techniques he was using on my hair. You can really tell how passionate he is about helping his clients bring out the best in their natural curls. My hair feels and looks so much healthier. It also feels so much lighter but without looking thinned out. Really impressed with the service and will def go back. My curls have never looked better!

I was very impressed with Valdeh! He took a lot of time to understand my particular curl pattern. I have very curly in front and wavy in back. He created a cut that blends the two different types of curls. He also showed me how to style my hair and how to refresh the curls daily. I love his passion for curly hair. I will defintely be returning! And the hair color was beautiful, too.

Valdéh is the only person I allow to work on my hair. He always makes sure I get the exact style I want, no matter the time or effort it takes. Without a doubt an expert in curly hair, and I highly recommend his services.

Not going to lie… I left the salon in tears. I felt like I looked like Edward Scissor hands… now this was because my hair was so damaged from constantly straightening it- so Valdeh had a lot of work. Anyways it was an expensive and LONG appointment ($600 and 3.5 hours). So you’re probably wondering why I’m giving Curl Revolution 5 stars after I said I left in tears? Well it’s because, Valdeh deserves it- he really knows what he’s doing and will really help you with your hair. Almost 2.5 months later I’m embracing my curls and absolutely love my hair. He’s expensive and very meticulous as a heads up but if you want someone to look out for your curls it’s Valdeh! Highly recommend him! Also side note, I straightened my hair once after and it looked awesome! I don’t know how he was able to cut my hair so my hair looked good both curly and straight!

I have fought my curls for years and years… I was a huge fan of Keratin treatments and Brazilian Blowouts! I finally decided at 39 to try to love what God gave me and embrace my curls so a good friend of mine told me to book an appt with Valdéh! I am so glad I did!!! This is the best my curls have ever looked and he was so patient to teach me step by step what products to use and how to use them!! I can’t recommend him enough! We live three hours away but he’s my hair guru now!!

I have never had a haircut as expertly done as my haircut by Valdeh. My hair is my signature - big, thick and wavy and it looks better then it ever has, thanks to Valdeh. It is easier to style as he studied how my hair naturally behaves and he cut it to accentuate that, instead of fighting it. He also did my color and I love it - exactly what I wanted. He is a consummate professional.
