Dr. Contaldi is amazing and his staff is very friendly (5 STARS). My recent sunglass experience however, left me disappointed (1 STAR). After my exam, I purchased new prescription glasses. I also opted to spend hundreds of dollars and replace the prescription lens in my Ray Bans I have had for a number of years. I was informed the company making the new lenses broke my Ray Ban frames and they (Southwest) were not responsible, nor would the other company be held accountable for damages. I am now left having to replace not just lenses but the additional cost ($$$) of new frames. When I retrieved them, the frame had been chipped and the lens and frame were scratched and damaged along the lens edges as if they were being pried out with pliers or a screwdriver. I will continue to come to Southwest because Dr. Contaldi is excellent and a true joy. However, if this is the quality of their lens provider and cannot (will not) be held accountable for damaging personal property, then be aware of the RISKS.

Highly recommend. I no longer need reading glasses to read fine print due to RX change. Plus saved money on contacts. Very nice staff. Best ever!

Entire Staff is very professional and friendly. Highest level of customer service. Dr. Contaldi and Dr. Vasilko take the time to explain the process of what they do and why they do it and make sure you as a patient understand everything. Would highly recommend Southwest Vision Center to everyone!

Everyone was so nice and fast and attentive. No hiccups in getting my glasses. Techs did the eye machine testing. Just wish the doctor had spent more time actually looking at my eyes. But just comparing to my last doctor. Probably not fair of me to do so.

Went in to have my eye checked due to pain. Come to find out there was a very small piece of plastic stuck in my eye. She reassured me that it wouldn’t hurt and after putting numbing drops in both eyes, removed the debris and it was done. I could instantly feel relief. Very professional and knowledgeable. It’s the day after the procedure and I’m feeling back to normal.
