Today
I
had
the
Terlingua
burger,
and
it
transported
me
back
in
time
to
my
childhood
-
ordering
my
favorite
thing
at
the
concession
stand
of
my
hometown
football
games:
the
Frito
Pie.
I'm
not
talking
about
those
trash
Frito
pies
that
you
get
at
football
games
these
days.
I
mean
the
old
fashioned
good
stuff.
This
burger's
got
a
beautifully
seasoned
and
grilled
beef
patty,
a
single
ring
of
purple
onion,
just
the
right
amount
of
delicious
homemade
brisket
chili
(no
beans,
of
course),
and
a
perfect
sprinkling
of
Fritos.
There's
pickles
on
the
side
if
you
won't
them,
and
the
havarti
cheese
slice
and
soft-but-durable
bun
finish
off
this
delicious
trip
down
memory
lane
perfectly.
For
a
light
alternative
to
fries,
try
the
Texas
Caviar.
They
make
a
real
good
batch
here.
They'll
give
you
enough
for
two
people.
Don't
feel
bad
if
you
can't
finish.
This
place
has
had
an
exceptional
menu
since
opening
in
2012.
I've
sampled
most
of
it
and
have
never
been
disappointed.
Great
liquor
selection
and
twenty
beers
on
tap.
