I see a lot of comments about racism, coming in there was a black guy very friendly but when I got to the bar there was a tall Caucasian dude behind the bar not so friendly so I can see it. A lot of you definitely do not need to be in the hospitality industry I definitely must say. I wish I would have gotten his name but if you still decide to go you will definitely notice (I’m brown by the way) Texas Replubic get employees that fit the Hospitality persona because HE is not it. And I don’t tip rude, undercover racists. But on the good foot the blonde haired bartender smiled and greeted us Thank you good person for covering the role for your co worker. #Unapologetic

Brunch was okay. DJ is here every Sunday unfortunately. He truly is not great, playing rehashed club music at noon on a Sunday doesn't match the vibe at all. Change your DJ and change the vibe. Weird to be eating eggs while you are expected to dance to music at 160 beats per minute. Christ, hire a different DJ. For the love of God.

I was turned away at the door by a guy standing at the front who clearly had ego issues. I asked “why arent we allowed to go in” he responded with “because i said so, i dont need a reason” keep in mind the place looked dead inside. And no i wasnt in the slightest bit intoxicated. I used to really like this place despite it clearly losing business, i can finally say i will not be back. The guy working the door was a black guy wearing a blazer who got really offended when referred to as security. I would not trust this man to be in charge of the burger line at McDonalds. There was also a guy behind us that was by himself who also got turned away for absolutely no reason as well. For a place that seems to be hurting for customers they are really doing a bang up job and turning them away.

Couldn’t find anything wrong with me but denied entrance because my shorts didn’t have belts loops even though they were above my knees. It’s summertime and 90 plus degrees and they are worried about my shorts having belt loops. Another excuse to keep out minorities. I’ll take my dollars elsewhere.

If I could give zero stars for service, I would. Had a female bartender make eye contact with me 4 times, roll her eyes, walk away, slam someone's order down that she goofed up. Music was too loud, drinks were watered down and lousy. Food was cold. Amazing this place stays opened.

Gross restroom. Waited in line for about 25mins! And it was disgusting. Trash and nasty water everywhere. Felt very uncomfortable using the restroom.

My wife and I bought tickets to the filet & shrip dinner online. Had concerns after looking the place up online since we had already paid for tickets but were noticing by the reviews it was more of a bar/dance club apparently. We decided to give it a chance anyway. HUGE MISTAKE! The time posted for the event was 6p.m. to 10p.m. We arrived at 6:30ish and noticed quickly the place looked trashy and had mainly early 20's clientele. As we walked in the floor was sticky af. We waited to be greeted for a minute or two and decided let's just go get a table. As we walked to a table we noticed the place was in very rough condition and the floor was very sticky everywhere. The tables were not cleaned off and sticky as well. They even had fruit flies flying around. I looked at my wife and stated "This looks like a bad episode of Bar Rescue". We waited to see if anyone would come to our table to take an order and quickly realized nobody was concerned with anyone unless they were seated at the bar. We were not approached once in over 15 minutes of deciding weather or not we needed to leave. We requested a refund online after that 15 minutes and left very dissatisfied. Did not even get to try anything drink or food related. This place is perfect for the drunken & disorderly that lack class. I really do not understand how this place remains in business. If your posting losses every month open up your doors & books and make the call to John Taffer. Maybe he'll help rescue your bar. The rating should be 0 stars instead of 1. P.s. Don't trust the pictures showing booths with tables. The the upstairs area was closed off and there were no dining tables paired with both seating. Definitely not s place for a nice filet dinner.

I gave them a chance, even contacted them, and they charged my card twice when I made only one purchase. Even changed the amount a little bit to make it seem as though it wasn’t the same purchase. It may be a bar but their drinks aren’t strong enough to make you forget how many times you order a beverage. I’m now having to fix this the difficult way because I don’t appreciate being scammed out of my money. 0 stars for shady business practices. And before anyone asks, the charges are not pending, they have been posted.

Since google does not allow 0 starts I’ll be nice and give this location 1 star and thats for the nacho chips. First, this location provided false advertisement on its Social Media platforms and website. Me and a group of 11 other ladies arrived at noon for brunch to cold food, 30 items were never available as advertised for the brunch station, no waitstaff available and no DJ. Music that was playing was from the bar and it was not Hip-Hop. When the cooks realized that the food was cold they simply moved the food station to a different section and re-heated it 🤢. The business had a extension cord running from a power outlet on one side across from the bar to the other side of the building (trip and electrical safety hazard will be reported) to serve as the power source for the heating lamps. The advertisement mentioned Rooftop but we were told that it was closed ( no update on its social media platforms or website was provided) When complaints were made to the manager after we requested a refund based on what was included in our VIP package and what we received she had the nerve to want to charge gratuity and tax for bottles that we already had already paid for. This location makes money off of promises that it never upheld based on its advertisement and you’re better off driving to Dallas or Frisco if you want a great Brunch experience with friends.

This was my birthday brunch and I invited friends. They all need a refund and I need to be paid just because I entered this place. No 30 items. The chicken was not real chicken. No omelet station just boxed frozen food. The food was cold and you can see through the bacon. Tables and floors dirty!! Just sad, and where in the hell was the rooftop!!!! False advertising.

Food was fantastic - plenty to choose from. The DJ was awful.. didnt expect club music while eating my fruit and muffin. Wouldnt let me use the free drink ticket I PAID for, when my guest had to cancel last minute.

My wife and I stopped in for a bite to eat. It was a cool place more on mediocre end though. You could tell that the place host some sort of events and no one cared to. Lean up afterwards. There were also pets in the place wandering around. The pet owners tried to keep them I. The designated area but they kept breaking out. I dont like pets around when I'm eating. The server wasnt the most attentive and whenever the chef came out he appeared angry. The food was standard American with a slight southern twist. Lots of places to visit in W7th area do may be a while before we're back.

The night started great. Then they transition to a night club. Was asked to move so we did. Then after another hour was asked to move again due to bottle service. My group spent over $1500 during the time we were there and the drinks were weak. The bouncers and manager was a joke!

Brunch was fantastic, but incredibly hot. The people behind the bar were fantastic. However there seemed to be no floor staff which led to plates being piled up, there being a ton of fans on the roof but none of them were working or running with no explanation.

Was just here. A whole group of us were let in, Multiple people were in different outfits.. people were let in ahead of us that were wearing different clothing out of their "club style" wear. Our African American friend came ahead of us & all of the sudden he was not let in. Due to "sagging".. which he wasn't. There was video that captured the whole moment, from when they said he was "sagging" to when we were getting kicked out for no apparent reason. Was very rude & very aggressive. The person in the picture is the "MANAGER" who runs this place. Or so he says. Very upset with how this situation was managed. We have been to TXR plenty of times & continued to plan on it until this situation.

My experience was HORRIBLE!!! Today was my friend Birthday and she purchased a booth. There was some confusion because there wasn’t a RESERVE sign at the table. My friend spent 2 hrs trying to get things settle. Which nothing got settled. The drinks were NASTY!!! The food was ATROCIOUS!!! The floor was nasty with food on the floor!!! Flies was flying on food they left uncovered but still leaving it to be eaten. The food was cold and taste like it came straight from the freezer!!! 🤮 is all I can say about our entire experience!!! Management sucked big time and ruined my friends special day!!!🤬

Bouncers & staff are so rude. For no reason too. They all have some very bad attitudes. Like no need to treat people like that at all. You cant stand to close to the sections, I guess for walkway purposes or maybe just cause they are sections. Y’all really should get some ropes and just block off the area y’all don’t want people standing at. Instead of shoving every person that accidentally steps over a certain tile. It’s gets crowded af and to yell at each person for standing an inch to close you’d probably make everyone’s lives easier by just blocking off the those areas… And the fog machine is way to much. I understand it going off every now and then. But it was running the whole time… couldn’t even breathe in there. The fog in the restrooms were even worse., guess that explains why they were so nasty.. no one can see what they are doing lol ew. Also kinda bugged me that y’all dont sell water bottles. Y’all could literally make more money by doing this lol. I’m not drinking right now so it Was kind of annoying going up to the bar every 5 minutes to refill my water glass… waste of the bartenders time as well. Just sayin.

Sheesh. This place promoted a Halloween event , with costume contest, open bar and personal Champagne bottle. People paid $45 and up for the tickets. Bartenders had no idea what we were talking about , he thought it was closed upstairs because of rain. Come to find out “it moved downstairs” There wasn’t any champagne bottles as promoted. The drinks for open bar were well drinks and mostly juice and no costume contest . This place sucks. It’s giving Fyre festival. Scam promotions.

I love this bar but I hate that the dance floor is crowded with people who aren't dancing, and are just standing there.. I realize that's not a problem with the bar itself, but the actual patrons. But, if you're not dancing, go stand in the lounge area.

What a dirty disappointment! We went there when it first opened and it was so classy, clean and it did seem to be managed well. We had great food and service etc. BUT NOW, all the tables were disgusting and not even wiped off from the previous guest. The bartender, who was on her cell phone during our whole time there was more worried about other things rather than the customers. She didn't come to our table once for our drink order. I'm not sure how this dump stays in business in such a nice popular area of town with so many other places to choose from.

Turned away for brunch by a rude bouncer because we didn’t have an online reservation, even though the place was empty (literally 10 people). DJ seemed loud and awful anyway.

Fun , packed and sometimes over crowded on Saturday nights. But always fun . Drinks are not cheap and the bar lines are always packed . Has a second floor upstairs with a different DJ that has less people for a more intimate evening. Still alway fun top floor or bottom , no matter how packed or how long the bar lines are with pricey drinks. Still recommend it!

The brunch was not what I was expecting. It was not on the roof top as stated on what we paid for. The music was way too loud 📢😭 you couldn't have a conversation with your friends 😔 you get 1 free very small mimosa which was old spoiled juice 🤢the chicken n waffles were over cooked and dried too hard to eat. Eggs and bacon were pretty good just edible and the fruit. Hopefully next time if I get chance to go back that they would fix these issues 😔🤷🙏

Karaoke on Tuesday was a lot of fun! Get there prior to 10p for a booth if you have a lot of people. Drinks were a bit pricey compared to local spots, but fun vibe for music and dancing. Young people and a stage also! A lot of people karaoke so you may not get a lot of chances to sing.

I’m new to Texas & therefore this is my first time here. I was invited by some lady friends. The Ahi tuna salad is absolutely overpriced!! You get like 6 skinny strips of ahi tuna & the rest is some no content having lettuce! $15 for lettuce 😳🙄. I won’t be eating that ever again! They also charge for ice & then tried to justify it! $12 for Hennessy on the rocks is a tad bit expensive! I came from Cali & I paid between $8-$10 for Cognac. This place thinks they’re upper scale when in reality they’re just average!!

Came here because we were walking by later at night and heard loud music. They play loud music you can dance to and the drinks were good - what you'd expect from a more "rowdy" bar/dance club. Really enjoyed myself!!

Being from NYC finding a vibe is slim to none in Fort Worth honestly but this place on New Years? It was fun, the music was GREAT and the drinks were plentiful. Would I run it back for 2024? We will only see.

The only reason why I'm leaving this review is because Dylan is the best bartender ever. We were bar hopping and trying new things. We went upstairs and it definitely was more chilled out and Dylan kept his game up and was making those drinks left and right and with a smile and always making conversation. He makes a killer strawberry tee! Definitely ask for him if you ever go.

This place need to be call Second floor top not rooftop brunch... Floors are very sticky, no server around to pick up our plates, they all standing around trying look good… no management around. Bartenders don’t even have a smile on their faces. Didn’t expect club music for Sunday brunch. Food was cold. Not worth the price we paid for! Will not be returning anytime soon

i usually LOVE this bar...... Last night tho... ROUGH first of all one bartender on a game night? ew and not a gm that says "im not the bartender" while at work..... i literally just needed an uncracked glass of a coke back..... BY FAR THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED

Welcome to the stickiest floors on 7th! Ghetto? You got it. $15 minimum on your card for drinks? Check! Wanna see a fight? Probably! Ever been through an airport security metal detector? Got that too! 2 floors of overpriced pandemonium, all yours every weekend here. Otherwise pretty dead during the week. This is your place to get drunk and stuck with a high bill and never remember it 👍

If you are in your early twenties and all about drinking, spending all your money and/or your parents money, going out looking trashy (girls) or going out looking for trashy girls (either/all/ whatever) and you love your dance music so loud that noone can possibly ask what your pronouns are, which is a moronic question anyway, but you may not realize it yet, this is the place for you! Enjoy standing in a mile long que and getting inside just in time for last call.

Great place to watch the cowboy game Big screen, and DJ was cool for commercials but too loud and maybe for me wrong type of music

  • 2/5 Meghan H. 1 year ago on Google
Reviewing the rooftop New Years Eve party - there were a ton of people there which made for a fun atmosphere and the DJs were good. However, because there were a ton of people, it was a 15 minute wait to get a drink and 30 minute wait to use the ladies' room! It completely spoiled the night, really didn't want to spend my entire night waiting in line. It's insane to me there are no restrooms upstairs and everyone had to go downstairs to use the single restroom. Paid $10 extra for the "speedy" entry that didn't exist, also never saw the champagne toast or party favors that were promised. Definitely will not be back.

First time here with some friends. It gets very crowded around midnight on the weekends but I went on a Saturday. Don't know what the bathrooms are like so can't speak on that. Nice place to chill and listen to music but they do have lights going on and a smoke machine so it's not foggy but smoky in there but it's not bad. Overall not a bad place, and there's a security and staff presence

I spoke with the manager about the so called “brisket” nachos. They are in fact chuck roast meat and he held to his lie that it was brisket meat. Terrible that they’re lying to folks and playing off the Texas bbq hype
