Great place and high quality cocktails. The only negative was all the staff wore masks. We're nearly 2 years since this thing started stop it already

Walked in and had a seat at a booth. After 15 minutes I went up to the bar and had two bartenders ignore me for about 5+ minutes (no one else was at the bar). I went back to our booth and waited another 10 minutes before going back to the bar and finally got a response that someone would come to the booth. Another person grabbed my card brought our drinks back. No one ever came back after about 20 minutes I went back to the bar asking to tab out and mentioned that they still had my card. The guy that took my order and card said that they didn’t have it. He came back to the table and said that they bring it right back, even after I said no one ever brought it back. He was almost aggressive about it. After looking for about 5 minutes he comes back with my card and tab with zero apologies about anything. Be careful with your card if you go and expect a wait to get anyone to notice you.

One of my favorite no-fuss places for craft and classic vintage cocktails. If you love a creative cocktail, go here! Laid back, calm vibe where you can have a conversation thanks to the semi-private booths, or feel free to sit at the bar that's always busy and chat with the bartenders. One of the few bars we repeatedly come back to. Highly recommend.

I can't think of anything to make this place better. Amazing service and atmosphere with professionally made drinks. My favorite bar in Fort Worth by far.

Drinks were good and service was great. Loved that atmosphere but the septic/sewage smell was overwhelming so we only stayed for one drink. Would visit again if that issue is fixed.

This place is really magical! You walk into the understated but cozy bar and it feels like you are meant to be there. You see the most up-to-date pride flag proudly hanging from the wall and it feels genuine and safe. If you though the atmosphere was good, wait till you get your hands on a drink because, goodness me, these are some of the best I’ve had. To start, our amazing server, Cynthia, was so knowledgeable on any and everything on the menu, and as an added bonus she had some amazing recommendations! I had the “sand and sea” first and GOOD LORD it was DEVINE!!! It was complex and elevated but still approachable and fresh, and the way it smelled!!! I also had the “don’t ask, don’t tell” which was amazing, it was floral but not to the point where is was potpourri to the face, and the ginger beer in it was crisp and refreshing. My partner had the “just keep swimming” which Cynthia described as a Pina colada with a more sophisticated pallet. And that is exactly what it was, it had all of those familiar flavors done so beautifully, like you could pick each one out individually. This was an amazing first go at the usual. We will definitely be returning to see what their menu has next!

Absolutely love the cocktails. My go-to is the Old Fashioned, but everything I’ve tried ever tried has been delicious. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is what you’d want for a cocktail vibe.

It was my first time in and I tried the don’t ask don’t tell and the sand and sea and they were both so good! Kaylee was an amazing bartender and I am so excited to find such a cute spot on Magnolia!

It is always such a pleasure to spend time here with friends. It is always such a calm and cozy atmosphere. The drinks are actually amazing, probably one of the best! They are very consistent with their flavors. I'm never disappointed!

It’s a cozy bar/lounge with craft cocktails and good vibes. I got the Rose on Rose on Rose drink and it was really good!

Great drinks, It’s a little dark inside but that’s part of the charm.

My favorite bar on Magnolia. It’s so cozy and cute at night. Literally perfect for an intimate date or just a casual night out. I had a rose water and gin cocktail and it was the perfect amount of sweet, floral, and herby. I have my TABC, maybe I should apply lol

One of my all time favorite bars in Fort Worth. I learned so much about craft cocktails and spirits in general just by sitting at the bar. Any question I had was always answered with thought, history, and a side of opinion. I have learned techniques just by watching. I have tasted spirits I never would have known about. And I have made friends. I also now have a crippling rum collection habit, so careful there. Cheers!

Always love The Usual, yesterday was really hot and they were the only place with adequate A/C. Their cocktails are fun but the Jen'll Tell Ya was not as grapefruity as I was expecting. I want my drinks strong but having two different grapefruit ingredients made me think it would be more like a mezcal paloma but the grapefruit soda must've watered it down more than added a new flavor.

The best mixologist bar in Ft Worth. The bartenders are always friendly and ready to talk liquors and bitters etc., if you know the subject. A great place to have a drink, go for a local meal which are all within walking distance, then have a nightcap. Park behind and take your valuables. Highly Recommended

This was an incredible bar. The bartender was super kind and helped us find drinks that we would enjoy. The Usual had everything: clean facilities, unique cocktails, alcohol I have never heard of before. I can not recommend the Usual enough. I can’t wait until we come back.

My first time here. Nice place for a drink (or two). Cozy atmosphere with a clean and simple decor. The service was great. Smallish bar, but plenty of tables and cozy booths. Could use a few more comfy couches. Definitely worth a return visit.

First time going to this bar on Friday night. Not to packed or busy, perfect atmosphere for a casual date night! The citronella drink was amazing and they had so many alcohol options (something for everyone). Bartenders were very attentive and were kind. Will definitely be going back to this spot! They are kind of tucked away but promise they are open 😉

As far as bars go, this is definitely top-tier. The drink itself was amazing and unique with a fairly unique menu in general, and the atmosphere is really nice. It's a very nice date spot with the dim lighting and our waitress was very attentive and polite.
