This restaurant is in a great location right by the Convention Center. The decor is simple and appealing. The place is really clean and the service is quick and efficient. The food cost WAY TOO MUCH for what it is. If I would have known your bland Mac and cheese (more like macaroni salad) was $6 for a tiny cup of it I would have said no thank you! $4 for fries with a Ruben sandwich? My burger was good but it wasn’t worth what it cost. It isn’t a place I will be beating down the door to visit again and I probably wouldn’t recommend it. Who has a bigger alcoholic drink menu than food ? I kept looking for more food on the menu. The waitress said of you are missing one. But guess what? All I was missing was a wine menu! No thanks!

First off the staff was easily 5 star level!!! The food quality was good so this place gets a 4 star over all Oh but also best hot sauce ever so we took a picture of it The grapefruit mimosa I had was excellent but the cranberry mimosa was underwhelming for me THB Still an excellent brunch spot and again staff was amazing !

Dustin was our sever and he took great care of us. He was very knowledgeable of the menu. I had a Tom Collins with lavender. Very refreshing. The chicken fried chicken came with the BEST gravy ever. The brisket potstickers were amazing! I wish I had more space for dessert because the few bites I was able to eat were amazing! Overall a great experience!

The wings were great. The mac and cheese with pulled pork was good but could've used more noodles and cheese. Liked the atmosphere, rare find to not have over bearing music 👴

Was very excited to try the restaurant after seeing the menu online and pictures. The appetizer was great and drinks. I was not too impressed with the main course. The steak could have used seasoning, in generous amounts. It was not worth the price. Service was friendly and prompt however!

Finally decided to stop in after years of walking by. Sadly, was not impressed with the food. Shrimp n grits- UNDERWHELMING! Lacked flavor/seasoning. Grits had lumps throughout. Sausage was pretty bland, and shrimp were okay at best. SAVE your $29 Mushroom burger- Loaded with spinach. A little too much. Decent taste but, not worth the $18 Kid burger- Son enjoyed it so that was a win Ice Cream stout beer- Unique but good. Would definitely try again ($3 menu).

I ordered the Cobb salad and it was delicious. Great service and waitress was friendly. A little pricey but worth the cost.

Hands down the best "small salad" I've had in a long time! The goat cheese wasn't overpowering and the added nuts and toppings were a nice surprise. I'm so glad I opted to work here this afternoon. The environment was welcoming and service was great! If you need a nice business lunch in downtown Fort Worth I highly recommend!

Saturday at 1:00. Sitting without acknowledgement from any waitstaff for 10 minutes. Waitress even walked by without glancing at us. I understand being busy, but there are waitress standing around and just a comment of “ we will be with you shortly” goes a long way. And, there are many areas with dirty glasses just sitting. Not sure about the food. We left. Not the experience we were looking for.

My husband loves to go to Brunch on special occasions. Decided to go here as he wanted to eat cheese burger his colleague told him to try at this place.he did and loved it. I did order trout and it was great with a nice salad. Appetisers were great, devilled eggs, chicken wings, ranch served with wings was buttermilk ranch (my guess) and i liked it. Devilled eggs were yummy and had a spicy after taste that i liked. Inside is nice and red lol. They had some special cocktails that we didn’t order, they were written on the board on walls ( they did sound delicious from the description). We noticed the boards after we placed the order. As it was my husband’s birthday we got to pick a complimentary dessert, he decided to pick chocolate bread pudding. It was yummiest of all. We both shared it and was more than enough for us. It’s a MUST try thing to so there. Our server was nice and courteous and staff was wearing mask all the time that made us happy.

I'd never heard of this restaurant before my visit. A few co workers took me out to lunch and we had a great dining experience. Their portion sizes are generous as you can see from the pictures. The waiter who served us was very upbeat, attentive and personable. Lunch was delicious. I'll be visiting again when in the area.

So good we had another lunch there, two days after the first meal! When I say that my mouth waters when I think about their food, I’m NOT exaggerating!!! We ordered the whipped ricotta (it comes with toasted sourdough and honey-drizzled fresh tomatoes!) I’ve been googling recipes ever since!!! The meatball sandwich, BLT, Crispy chicken, Mac and cheese, and burgers were all terrific. I will absolutely return, the next time I’m in Ft. Worth.

Had an appetizer and drink with my wife. Wife and I had a weekend getaway and went to Little Red Wasp for an app and drink. The food was great. We had the dumplings and chips and dip. Great food. Restaurant was relatively empty. We showed up at 5 PM Friday the last weekend of stock show. Staff was very friendly and drinks were good also. Will go back.

Sat at the bar for cocktails and apps on my husband's birthday while visiting from Philly. Deviled eggs were really good and the brisket potstickers were delicious. Tried a few different cocktails from the menu and they were all really good but the "Persephone's Fate" was amazing. (I tried to recreate it at home, but it wasn't the same.) See Jasmine at the bar, she was absolutely lovely! Highly recommend!

Had dinner here after a show at the convention center as it was a close walk and looked cool. It was a bit crowded, so there was a wait, but we were able to find a seat at the bar which suited us better anyway. The bartender was really nice and even made my preferred drink exactly the way I asked him to. (Hate to be that guy, but I was craving it.) In addition to a local brew they had on tap. I had the fish and chips which was delicious, crisp and well prepared. The cole slaw was a good touch too.

The fried chicken sando is awesome! Slaw and jalapenos made it special. House made chips were crisp and not oily. Barkeep was great company and prompt with the service. Good atmosphere and great vibes. Well done!

☆Came with a large group (8) for lunch and service was just ok. We had to wait for drinks almost 30 mins. Maybe the waitor wasn't used to large groups. The environment was nice and upbeat. The food was AMAZING!! Everything I ate was super savory!☆

Little Red Wasp is a nice restaurant with a warm ambiance and impeccable service that is perfect for a night out with friends. On my recent visit, I had the pleasure of having their Spaghetti + Meatballs, Tomato and Basil Soup, and a Manhattan. The Spaghetti + Meatballs at Little Red Wasp was perfect. The pasta had the perfect amount of tomato sauce that was packed full of flavor. What truly stole the show, though, were the meatballs. They were tender and full of savory goodness. They truly were some of the best meatballs I’ve had. Each bite was a harmonious blend of herbs and spices. Accompanying the pasta was a bowl of Tomato and Basil Soup that was like a comforting hug on a chilly evening. The soup had a velvety texture and a bright, robust tomato flavor that was beautifully balanced by the fresh basil. The fragrant aroma of basil filled the air as I savored each spoonful. To complement my meal, I ordered a Manhattan cocktail. The balance of sweet vermouth, aromatic bitters, and the rye was a true testament to the mixologist's skill. What sets Little Red Wasp apart is not just the delectable food but also the impeccable service and cozy ambiance. The staff's attentiveness and knowledge of the menu were impressive, making me feel welcomed and valued throughout my dining experience. In conclusion, Little Red Wasp is a great restaurant that deserves every bit of acclaim it receives. The Spaghetti + Meatballs and Tomato and Basil Soup are must-tries for anyone seeking a taste of Italian comfort food done to perfection. Top it off with a well-crafted Manhattan cocktail, and you have the recipe for a memorable dining experience. Little Red Wasp is a true gem in the heart of Fort Worth, and I can't wait to return for my return.

We had a good dinner here with great service. The Maine Diver Scallops were briney and perfectly cooked with a creamy polenta; the Steak Frites were portioned just right with the beef also cooked perfectly. We had mixed results with the cocktails: they special made a Pear Mimosa from their brunch menu that is not normally available for dinner and it was great, but the Little Red Wasp was meh. The noise level and somewhat pricey menu keep this from being a five-star review, but LRW is a good time.

A cute little fancy restaurant. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. Do note there are off-the-menu items but you have to ask if they don’t tell you. ~The patty melt. An off the menu item. It was a 2 patty grilled onion and cheese on sourdough bread that comes with house chips. (It was a good sandwich but you can find a better valued sandwich elsewhere. I do recommend you ask for some extra wasp sauce (thousand island) or hot sauce for the missing acid in the dish.) Fyi. Wait to be seated. They will bring you water as soon as you sit down. They have interesting drink menu.

This place has amazing food, okay drinks (see full review below for details) and good service. We were there for brunch on a Saturday and we were seated quickly and served our first round of drinks pretty fast, but their drink menu is a little confusing especially regarding the mimosas. Everyone agreed the drinks were a little watered down and overall just okay, which made them overpriced in our opinion. Could have just been a newer bartender or just a bad day. My wife and I split the chicken biscuit and the fried French toast and they were both amazing! I think we both preferred the chicken biscuit a little more. However, I would definitely recommend them both. Service was good overall, yet after our first round and food we barely saw the waiter. Waiter. I was going to order a second round for myself and my wife and never got the chance. This is a very small annoyance because that ultimately saved us money, everyone else was professional and polite and enjoyable. Will definitely consider going back if we're in the downtown area for brunch.

Great spot. Brisket pot stickers were great, we got the hot dog quartered as an appetizer, also great - wings edible but nothing special. The corned beef and chicken sandwiches as pictured were excellent, with the chicken surprising me in that its at least as good as the beef. Great 🍸 as well, overall solid choice. A little pricey, three appetizers, 5 alcoholic drinks, four entress about $225 before tip, BUT the service was excellent and quality of the food itself was five stars.

Amazing food and amazing staff. I got the fried chicken sandwich SO yum. Fries don’t come with it, I didn’t know that so that was an extra $5 I didn’t expect but it’s fine. All together it was about $28 which is a bit much for a chicken sandwich and fries BUT it was delicious so it’s fineeee.

Upbeat Atmosphere, Satisfying Meal Little Red Wasp is walking distance from the Amtrak; so if you have a layover, it's perfect. The Shrimp and Grits was yummy, but needed a bit more Cajun butter (I'd ask for some extra on the side next time). And the spicy lemonade was delicious! Excellent service. Thank you!

We were excited to try LRW. Jasmine was our server and she was great. She was very attentive and friendly. We started with cocktails and were pleased with the variety and complexity. All was good. Once the food arrived, there was surprise & disappointment with the lack of flavor & complexity to the shrimp and grits as well as the carnitas. Both were surprisingly low on the flavor scale. Shrimp and carnitas could have a bolder punch of flavor. We enjoyed the atmosphere & cocktails: however, were simply underwhelmed with the food.

Although my other rating criteria are a 4 and a 3, restaurants should be first and foremost judged on their food... makes sense. The food here was not good. Mainly, I didn't like the menu. Too much nonsense added into items that are perfectly fine without some ridiculous foodie alteration. For example, swapping coleslaw for sauerkraut on a Reuben. If you do this, it's not a Reuben... it's corned beef with coleslaw. (I used this example because I hate coleslaw.) The other thing that's off-putting are the prices. $21 for a Reuben sandwich (that's not even a Reuben sandwich) is beyond absurd. Nothing on the menu is remotely in the realm of reality with their prices.

Was very disappointed in my meal. Come for lunch on a Friday and order the shrimp and grits. My meal was the last to come to the table and was the worst. It came out warm and not fresh. The grits were tasteless. Added salt and paper and it’s was still bland. Same with the shrimp, no flavor what-so-ever. Sausage was small and didn’t seem like it was good quality. Ended up sending it back and ordering something else. Everyone else food at the table looked good and they didn’t have many complaints. My second order took a very long time to come out; end up having to take it Togo. However, the manager was accommodating despite my dissatisfaction in my meal.

Amazing food with good variety but more importantly a restaurant with heart and great customer service. During early onset of Covid-19 2020, this wonderful eatery provided boxed lunches to our hospital employees free of charge. The generosity gave food portions that were yummy and not skimpy. With gratitude and to support the local market, our hospital department contacted this establishment during the historic winter storm of Feb. 2021 and they were able to quickly provide meals for our staff within a few hours. A special thanks to Patrick and Adam for their help!

Was not impressed. Ordered corn beef hash, scrambled eggs and side of French toast. Hash was extremely drenched with grease. Not sure what kind of French toast taste like cake. But it was heavy and big for no reason. The best part was my margarita. Sorry. There will be no return.

Ordered the Chicken Fried Steak, and my wife ordered the Mac and Cheese. My wife really enjoyed her Mac and Cheese. The Brussels Spouts and mashed potatoes were awesome! I can't say positive things about the main portion. The Chicken Fried Steak was very salty. I had to just break off the crust (what should be the best part) off the steak so that I can just eat that. The crust tasted like someone dropped the salt shaker in the mix. Not good at all. The waiter was awesome! Very friendly staff. I'm sure if I would of said something to him, he would of attempted to fix the salty situation, but I didn't want to complain about it.

Ritzy. Kind of expensive. Planned to go have the "best mac n cheese in the world" but there is nothing to order to go with it and cant just eat it by itself. So ordered a burger( ended up being pink in middle) and wings which were very good. And had great old fashioned root beer. Nice staff. Kind of small place. Small single bathroom. Has changing table tho.

Little Red Wasp is one of my top three restaurants thus far in Fort Worth. Not only was the food "set your soul right" delicious, but the service was tremendous. It was an all-around great experience. We started off with the whipped ricotta, which is one of the tastiest appetizers I've had in a very long time. It's velvety and delightful, and just the perfect start to your experience here. I had the Mac and Cheese dinner - but this ain't your mama's (or Aunt Becky's or Grandpa Ben's) mac and cheese. This mac and cheese is perfectly accompanied by BBQ pulled pork and even when you're too full to consider moving, leaves you craving more. My only suggestion is to have them go light on the crispy onions on top - it's a freakin' mountain, and quite frankly a bit too much. My friend had the Pork Shank Carnitas dinner and it was divine! Perfectly cooked, insanely delicious, and all-around heaven on a plate. I'm not exaggerating - so much deliciousness, my taste buds wanted to protest anything else I ate for a week. The service was excellent. We had questions about a nice port for after dinner, and the gentleman they called over was very knowledgeable about the wines and ports. The old fashioneds were delicious. This whole experience was one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in a long time. I will definitely go back. I'd say this is a nice place to go if you want to take a foodie on a date, or really just impress anyone.

Went on a double date on a late Saturday night and was pleasantly surprised by the great food at the Little Red Wasp. The restaurant is doing a great job keeping guests apart from one another, every other table was empty and all the staff wore their masks the entire time. I appreciate the precaution the staff took to keep the customers and themselves safe. For drinks, I got the Wasp's Knees, a surprisingly smooth drink. The Gin and lemon stood out while the spiciness of the habanero was a subtle but great compliment. My fear was that the habanero would be to spicy to enjoy but that was not the case at all. For my entrée, I got the Chicken Fried Chicken and the chicken was fried to perfection. It was nice and juicy. The mashed potatoes was creamy and had a generous amount of gravy. It also came with Brussel sprouts and I have to admit that I am not a fan but these were not bad. While I could have gone without them, I enjoyed them enough to finish the plate. I would definitely be back, my reason for not giving a perfect rating is because the waiter wasn't the best and would look at me as if I was an idiot if I ever had a question about the menu. Other than that, great night out with friends.
