I
wanted
to
like
this
place.
I
Picked
Piola
for
a
dinner
night
and
I
was
embarrassed
by
the
time
we
left.
It
is
built
in
an
neat
old
house,
on
the
corner
of
a
residential
street,
which
was
kind
of
cool.
The
atmosphere
was
nice
but
unfortunately
the
food
did
not
deliver.
Tried
both
"specials"
and
neither
one
was
good.
I
could
have
easily
cooked
something
better
at
home.
Especially
the
chilean
seabass,
which
sounded
great
when
described
by
the
waiter
but
was
dry
and
very
basic
and
a
small
portion.
Not
very
creative
with
the
flavors.
The
fish
itself
was
overcooked
and
tasted
like
a
grocery
store
frozen
aisle
item.
Furthermore
the
price
for
the
specials
was
absurd
for
what
they
were
serving.
The
prices
of
the
other
items
on
the
menu
were
all
very
reasonable
(mostly
between
the
$15-20
range),
and
the
specials
were
not
written
down
anywhere
but
I
wrongly
assumed
they
would
be
in
a
similar
range,
even
if
at
the
higher
end.
I
got
the
bill
and
they
were
37
dollars
a
plate!!
I
was
disappointed
with
the
meal
but
even
more
so
when
I
saw
the
bill.
We
also
had
2
glasses
of
wine,
which
couldn't
have
possibly
been
a
full
pour.
The
waiter
was
attentive,
but
cold
and
matter-of-fact
The
restaurant
was
nowhere
close
to
full
but
he
seemed
to
want
to
rush
us
out.
With
the
word
"gardens"
in
the
name,
I
expected
more
than
a
covered
patio.
The
only
real
"garden"
feel
was
being
able
to
see
the
neighbor
house's
nicely
manicured
lawn.
If
the
food
here
impressed
me
at
all,
I'd
probably
come
back.
