My Husband and I went for Valentine’s day 2022dinner here . We didn’t have plans to go anywhere earlier but last moment wanted to go for dinner, on restaurant’s website we were able to book table for 2. And got text confirmation right away. I had been wanting to try this restaurant for past 9 yrs i am living in the area. It looks like a gas station from outside but no gas pumps are there instead there is parking. We were seated right away, our server Lance was very attentive and detail oriented. He wore mask 😷 all the time. We ordered Mimosa flight with 4 fruit juices. Hawaiian Salmon and Shrimp pasta were great and arrived pretty quick. These were from a special Valentine’s menu. I have heard they have rotating Menu so that makes it an interesting place. Bread pudding was out of the word and was piping hot. We really enjoyed the vibe as most of the couples were there for Valentine’s dinner and dressed pretty. It was red and pink on every table. Restaurant has its own parking lot that was pretty packed when we arrived around 6:30 pm. But we got a nice spot and had multiple spots available! Didn’t use restrooms so no idea how they were. We enjoyed our Valentine’s dinner a lot and will go back again to try Bloody Mary that looked pretty loaded. The check had a bar code to do online payment so it made it easy and quick to use Apple Pay!

SO good! The Monte Cristo is the best in DFW! It was a great experience and we can't wait to go back! • The fries are absolutely worth the money; if it's your first time make sure that you try them. • The service was great! We never had to wait or ask for anything. • Prices are very fair. • The bread pudding was delicious! I am not a connoisseur of bread pudding and so I was surprised at how much I liked this one. • The water tasted good. It's a weird thing to report on, but it's off-putting when you go to a restaurant and the water tastes dirty. • The fried mozzarella was also the best I've ever had. It tasted fresh and was way better than any mozzarella stick I've ever eaten. *They also have a "chef's special" menu that I assume frequently changes. It had things like chicken fried steak and paella on it, which aren't posted online.

Second time here, ordered drinks and water cup had pink lipstick on it. Server took it back and brought cleaner cup. You would think after the dirty water cup incident that more attention to detail would be paid going forward. Ordered mimosa flight and champagne glasses were dirty as in picture. Ordered coke for child and it came in huge cup as pictured I was expecting small kid sized cup with lid. Oh well. Ordered chicken and waffles, which my daughter said was delicious and granddaughter said her angel hair pasta w/alfredo sauce was "delish"hence the 3 🌟's. I had the lobster bisque in bread bowl and I swear all the "lobster" was on the bread as in picture. I tried to add video I took to show there was No lobster in the bisque (although it was flavorful and the bread was good). I will try to upload video to show that it was lobster-less. Mimosa flight juices were good. More than likely won't dine here again.

Wow, the food is crazy good. Who knew a Bloody Mary could be a meal, and the Lobster Mac Cheese should have a warning that it's addictive. The restaurant was clean, spotless actually, the staff was super nice and very helpful. I cannot wait to return for another great meal!

Have read about this place and even seen it on tv but finally dropped in. Had a good but expensive meal, most of the items i ordered was different than what I am used to. Lobster bisque was tasty and the stuffed pork chop was OK. The meat texture was different, it was almost like it was poached or braised. Also the pairing of bisque and stuffed chop was probably a poor choice on my part since it was so similar. Should have got the tomato bisque instead. The house wine (malbec) on the other hand was excellent, a generous pour and the bar keep was attentive and friendly. Front desk not so much, she gave me a dirty look when I said I did not have a reservation. She then made a show of looking thru the seating when I told her I was just going to the bar instead. I might return for the brunch someday but most likely not for dinner.

I really wanted this place to be awesome. I’d heard about it for years and maybe it couldn’t live up to the hype. But the shrimp in the shrimp etoufe still had the shells. My wife got the chicken Parmesan and it wasn’t that good. Noodles under a chicken and cheese and I’m not sure if they forgot the sauce or if it was just how much they put on it.

Forgot about us for about 15min the came out and admitted they weren't told we were her customers! It was a very slow dining process! We were even able to watch a waitress give an older couple a Momisa off of another table because another couple didn't drink it! We've had better here!

I went here for my birthday meal because I was on the quest for the best Monte Cristo and I can say with confidence that this is indeed the best Monte Cristo I've ever had! The jam complemented the fried, cheesy, meaty goodness of the sandwich and my side of freedom fries were well seasoned. My only minor complaint is that I wish there was a little more jam with it, but I'll order some extra next time. We had the fried mozzarella for an appetizer and it was very good as well. I also was excited to try the bread pudding, and it was very flavorful. I'm not a fan of bread pudding but I knew I had to give it a shot here and I'm glad that I did. I'm excited to go back to try some other options on the menu next time.

It’s my first time at Chef Point and everything is so great. I love my chicken pesto pasta. Our server is super nice, he even gave me an extra garlic bread for my to-go box of the left over. All the staff is friendly and very professional. I would definitely come back!!

This restaurant is unique....friendly staff who greet you with a big Texas welcome, seat you in a clean, spacious dining area with the aroma of delectable smells drifting in the air. The place is inviting, friendly and relaxing! The menu is not overwhelming. If you've eaten here before---you will know that whatever you order will be freshly made, full of flavor and served with a cheerful smile. The manager Shelley made rounds to ensure each customer was satisfied which impressed me. The owner and chef also visited with me! These people care about delivering an excellent dining experience! I am already planning my next visit!

Extremely rubbery Parmesan chicken. It tasted microwaved. We won’t be back. Very disappointed today after trying to take my mother to a nice birthday lunch at the Watauga location after hearing great reviews from friends over the last several years. She couldn’t chew the chicken at all and just ate the pasta. The service was good as the food came out quickly. Also, the waitress asked if we wanted to send it back, get a replacement, or receive a discount. Declined all three since I didn’t have extra time to wait. The waitress mentioned she didn’t know why they have recently gotten many similar complaints about the chicken. We won’t be back for microwaved food.

Wow, wow, WOW!!! What a gem! Was so impressed with this place! Truly 5-Star Cuisine. Possibly one of the best servers I have ever had as well! We started out with the Mimosa Flight, a bottle of Champagne and 4 different fruit juices! So cool! Then we had the stuffed mushrooms, Stuffed, Blackened Chicken breast with Lobster, Crab and cheese. Finished it up with the amazing Bread pudding! This place started in a gas station and still looks like it from the outside, but boy is that facade only skin deep! You are treated like royalty here! Can't wait to go back!!!

First time here and the food was amazing. But the Customer Service from Lance was great explained and suggested everything to us for being our first time.

Service was fantastic! Super cute patio environment. The food concepts were great... the execution was so so. The barramundi was excellent. The accompanying pasta was bland. My husband had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was dry and under salted and the waffle was meh. Like a toaster waffle. The $35 bloody Mary was a super fun idea. But again was not executed properly. Dry chicken, dry burger, awesome potato fries, and the shrimp was spot on. The drink itself was underwhelming. Whatever was on the rim of the glad was soooooo good.

Went during brunch time and decided to split something savory and sweet. We got the biscuits and gravy and French toast. Easily the best French toast and home style potatoes (came on the side of the biscuits which were also very good) that we have ever had. Service was also great, our waiter was nice.
