This place was better 2 years ago not because of covid, it's because the new owner and management (took over aprx 2.5yr ago) don't know what they are doing. Went in there with the wife and her girlfriend a few days ago and after 15 minutes the only working bartender (and is the newer owner) who was not serving anyone just kept walking past us in a not very busy bar. Finally someone in a group next to us got up and helped the rude owner make us drinks, I drank the last drop of my preferred spirit they had and never got waited on again, I just gave up ordering drinks after 20 minutes of not seeing a working bartender again.... however, the few groups of people (3-4 groups) appeared to have an employee that worked there in each group (but not working at this time) because someone was always walking to the back of the bar to serve there table without ringing anything up. I feel sorry for anyone who has eaten here recently; this place, as said by others, is disgustingly dirty and unkept. Before realizing I would never return, the owner informed us (during our short and uncomfortable conversation) that they are moving locations in a week and that he didn't want my liquor request. In attempt to strike up a conversation I asked if he is selling anything (as I expressed interest in the ice maker) or if he will be taking it with him, the owner laughed, rolled his eyes and said I couldn't afford it as I sat there in boots that are worth more than that old, unmainted moldy ice maker. If you're reading this I'd like you to know I estimate to replace and depreciate these items during a loss often, I'm well aware of what they cost old man. When departing from this unpleasant visit it became clear that the owner is relocating to a small enough location in a less expensive area so he can stay open for his younger buddies that work or steal or whatever from his grumpy self.

Used to LOVE this place. It was decorated and clean, the outdoor lights were awesome. Fun atmosphere. Always our Holiday spot and Thursday night hangout. Yesterday we visited for the first time in a while and I got served a glass with lipstick stains on it, flat beer, no glasses to have a tall drink. The bathroom was absolutely filthy… it would take literally 5% effort to clean the sink at a minimum. Bartender was very sweet, but that’s about it for the positive. Bring back fun Malarkeys! At the very least- CLEAN THE BAR! PS what happened to the website? Updating the website, FB, Instagram- anything. Save Malarkeys!

Service was very poor. I ordered a Corona with a lime and salt on the neck of bottle. Some refer to it as fully loaded. Bartender was not aware so I kindly explained. When she brought the bottle it had literally 3 grains of salt. I pushed thru it as I wanted to see the Steelers game. As the game went on getting any follow up service was tough. It's interesting because I overheard her have a brief conversation with the table right next to me and asked them if they needed anything else. Had she taken 2 more steps to my table I mat have spent more money.... I tried to get the bartender attention a few times so I could close out my tab with no luck. So I went up to the bar to do it and after standing there for literally 2 minutes right in front of her as she was texting and never once looked up once. I finally said mam can I close out my tab. After I was done closing out my tab she went right back to using her phone with her back to her customers.... I think I may go somewhere else next time for the Steelers game

Got the Shepards Pie...drink orders were quick but waited about 15 minutes to order food. Then, the food came out quick but looked like this. Both kitchen and restaraunt manager saw, but said nothing. I also said nothing because I know the bar is struggling after covid. But, seriously?

Good experience overall. They had some good singers for karaoke night and the food was good. The malarkey balls were good and interesting. The Ruben tasted good but it was thin. Definitely should had put more meat on that sandwich. The people were nice and so was the owner.

The food here is decent it used to be better and it's affordable. They're alcoholic beverages and I really like the woodwork inside looks nice. The bartender was friendly and food is also available for pickup.

This is a friendly Cheers atmosphere and Trivia Tuesdays can be fun for the whole office or if you have family in town! The food is good, though a limited menu with most pricing reasonable. Lots of local regulars and visitors.

Pros-This place has a great atmosphere. There was lively Irish music for St. Patrick's Day, the wait staff was dressed up, and it had a good vibe. There's a lounge area with a couch and there are some really neat booths that feel private with a little roof and walls around them. They also had a special drink in leprechaun cup you could take home. Room for Improvement-It was fairly busy being St. Patrick's Day, so maybe we caught them at a bad time, but...we sat and waited for about 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged us to bring menus or take drink orders. Our food took forever to come out and wasn't great when it did. The waitress said the kitchen was really behind! My salad had some frozen iceberg lettuce that turned slimy as it thawed, so I didn't eat that, and the croutons were so hard I thought I might break a tooth. The Malarkey Balls were very tasty, but they were cold. Also the chairs were really wobbly! Like we saw several people, thin people, switching chairs around because they wiggled so much. Overall-The fish and chips were ok and my fried egg sandwich was fine. The fish had a nice crunch. Nothing extraordinary. I think if the Malarkey Balls were hot, they would have been amazing! They were really flavorful and the potato inside was creamy and delicious. We may try them again at a less busy time, or it could be a fun place to go for drinks with friends because the place has a good vibe and people were friendly. I hate leaving not so great reviews, but hopefully the owner can make a few tweaks to really improve this place, or maybe we really did catch them on a bad day. Pictures show fried egg sandwich, fish and chips, Malarkey Balls, and cute leprechaun cup.

Decent meal, served by a good looking friendly bartender that didn't mind chatting, clean good t.v. setup upscaleish so no rifraf last night and as a nice bonus they have quite a few SWEEPSTAKE machines to gamble on. Fun. Only neg was some stuffy and odd guests but better than the duechebags at many bars.

Been coming here for years and I’ve always had a great time here. The bartenders and waitstaff are always friendly and make you feel welcome. You can either hang out at the bar or kick back and shoot some pool. Their food is pretty decent and they always have a decent beer selection. They also have an outdoor patio. Will be back most definitely!

Cool little place. New to the neighborhood so just scouting. The bar temptress, Kelly, is beautiful and on top of her game. Met the owner, also, and his name is 'Kelly's Boss' or something. Look at the friggin' menu! Bachelor's local watering hole paradise.
