This place sucks all around. Our waiter was either high or drunk. He was so inattentive- we were forgotten about on several occasions. He frequently forgot things we ordered and we had to request them again. The restrooms were not clean. The food wasn't worth the price and the cocktails were very subpar for the price as well. I highly do not recommend and won't be back. There are plenty of places within walking distance that are far better quality.

Sherlock's is just a great time with food. It's definitely more of a 30s to 50s crowd and the music is so loud it just goes through you. I wish it would bring the music down just a little bit but that could be because I'm getting at that age that the music just annoys me. It is fun to take friends there and just hang out and spend a lazy afternoon.

Been coming here for years, but this was my 1st time popping in, since COVID. Happy Hour drinks and prices are still awesome, but it's just not the same without the live music side. Not sure if that side opens up later in the day or not. If not, I hope that changes soon.

At the very most, this restaurant would be a 5/10. While the servers are friendly and talkative, the food is mediocre at best. The drinks were delicious although lacking in alcoholic taste as we had the funky monkey, the boozeberry punch, and the watermelon cucumber lemonade. The food was quite disappointing in flavor and pricing. While I understand the times are changing with inflation, I do not believe the portions match the price whatsoever. Definitely the place to come get drunk as I can imagine relatable characters becoming regular patrons of the establishment. Do not waste your money or time on the food in this place.

I frequent here on the weekends and the music and happy hour makes for a great place to hang out. Gabby is usually my server and she’s fantastic!

Karaoke is a must see. Eclectic group of "characters" show up weekly. This place has a unique spin on karaoke as you sing with a live and talented band. One of my go to places for Thursday night entertainment.

There's better places in Addison to check out. Highly recommend not stopping here. Visited late Wednesday night for some birthday drinks for a friend. We sat at the main bar on the first floor when a cockroach crawled across the bar top. As I freaked out, the bartender, Mackenzie, calmly reached over, killed it with a napkin, and walked away. I would assume by her calmness, this was NOT the first roach she's had to kill in this bar. Where there is 1 roach, there are SEVERAL in hiding. This is a direct reflection of the cleanliness of the bar, which is simply, not clean. After this incident, I did not finish my drink, paid my tab of 1 drink and swiftly left. The small food portions at ridiculous prices (don't even get me started on the 8 individual nachos for $14) and dirty bars are enough to keep me from ever going back.

A local referred this place. Good service, good food, good location. Music was a bit too loud for my taste. But I could see that folks enjoyed returning to this location. I hate that I forgot the name of the young lady who served us. You could see that she was busy. But very personable, not just with us, but with other patrons as well. It was good to see and experience.

We've been here before many times, but the last time was before the pandemic and lock-downs. Things have changed for the worse. When we arrived, the door guy was nice enough, maybe a third of indoor seating was in use, staff were visible, nobody seemed hurried. And yet we were seated for about 8 minutes before any staff asked us if we wanted menus or drinks. Strike one. The server did not know of any local craft beers even though the menu said "ask staff" for current selection. She did not offer a beer menu, either. She is either untrained, or does not care about doing her job. Strike two. We ordered beers from the food menu and told our server we would be eating, too. We waited more than 15 minutes, but our order never arrived, our server did not return ask for our food order. Having waited over 23 minutes without any service, we decided to take our business elsewhere. One can only guess why our server choose to ignore us. Our collective wager is the R word, specifically. Her body language, facial expressions, verbal tone, wilful ignorance when asked a question, failure to find out the answer to any question she didn't know, all add up to her dislike of anyone that doesn't look like her. She should not be in the hospitality business. I doubt we ever return. We sure won't be recommending this place ever again.

I always have such a good time here! Amber is my bartender, she is amazing! Always so attentive, her service and friendliness is top notch! I always look forward to seeing her when I walk in because I know she’s going to take care of my orders. The music is great and they layout here really lends itself to interact with new people. I am a ferocious introvert and dislike going out very much but I enjoyed myself here. The crowd is mixed in race and age and I know you are not supposed to say that but people need to know that and it was very nice to see people from all different shades and ages all together having a nice good time. The DJ was really good and it was some fun music and I felt very comfortable. I went there on a first date and he turned out to be a nightmare but not Sherlock's. Sherlock's is nice and this is coming from somebody who dislikes going out a lot.

Mckennzie is the best bartender!! She is always very attentive and gets our orders out on time. Always goes above and beyond to provide the best service. I always come back to her to take my orders! Thank you so much!!

My experience here is amazing every time. Especially, when Chandra is your waitress, you'll never have a bad time. The service is prompt, professional, and perfect down to the last detail. The security team makes the environment friendly and welcoming all while not neglecting the safety of the guest. Well ran establishment. 12/10 everytime.

First time being here. Bartender skipped my multiple times. Her attended the gentlemen next to me and I told him that I was actually there before the other person. Bartender replied “ you didn’t tip me last time” (Robin or so the receipt says it’s a male that wears glasses). After that I choose to move along and just let things go. I went to the other side of the bar where it was better. For my first time coming here, this definitely was NOT a good place. I wish him well.

Great place to play a serious game of darts. Good beer selection and very helpful staff. I'll be back for another well poured Guinness!

Good vibes and drinks. Went to see a band (The Max) perform. Had a reserved table near the front of the stage. Fun to people watch. Everyone seemed to have a good time. Reasonable prices. Police out front for safety.

Great place for casual night out, with a London style on bar/restaurant area and a separate section for concerts, also has dart boards available. Food menu with great options at a good price, mozzarella sticks were great, thrilled they had 1800 Reposado at the bar, service there was great too (shout out to Cindy, our server last night!). High tables and booths available for seating, music was great, women's restroom could be kept a little cleaner. Definitely recommended, will be going back 👍

Our go to for live music on Friday /Saturday. Foods a bit skimpy for the price. Service is decent most nights. No cover. Drinks are good and priced well. Crowd ranges from twenty something to dancing grandparents and everything in between.

Logan is great. Super friendly and accommodating! Appreciated him super much! But whoever the manager/older man is was less than friendly. Upset about his preference for football. Changed the sound with minutes left and then was upset when the customers asked for it to be turned back. And by customers I don’t mean just us. It was slow and the two tables inside both agreed. So that was kind of annoying. It wouldn’t have even been worthy of a mention had he been polite like oh I’m sorry I didn’t realize both tables were watching the same thing and turned it back without making it seem like it was such a big deal. But the bad attitude needed addressed. 😕 Oh and the Buffalo dip could be bigger.😂

Absolutely unbearable heat. Would be fun if the ac actually worked. The band, staff, and customers are miserable and sweating and it's not even the hottest part of the summer yet. Bartenders are friendly and live music is great, but none of it matters while you're sweating indoors all night. Parent company needs to shell out the money to fix it finally if you want people to keep coming back.

This was a last-minute thing, and I was not disappointed! Had such a great time dancing and especially watching the live band play. I will definitely be back to see the same group, COLD SHOTS from Houston Tx play again. We didn't try the food, so I'm not sure how that was. The service was great. Our waiter was awesome.

I have partied here a few times, and it is a great spot to party. Just don't order their food. The spicy shrimp app is gross. Their Shepard pie bites sent me home to sit in my own bathroom for the rest of the night. I have ordered food here 4 times and regretted it every time.

Average everything - from food to service. Looks like a hang out stop mostly for drinks, but not a preferred place for a family dinner.

I like that fact that the bar has different areas, they have a section if you want to relax, have a drink and vibe. then you always have a dance floor too next door. It was my first time there, cheap drinks, good quality, whenever I’m in the area I’ll be back.

English themed pub. I loved the food. So good, I went twice. Prices are okay... In fact, quite decent. They have a live band on Saturdays. That was good enough for me to patronise. I would recommend a visit.

This place will always be a favorite due to their affordable drinks, great food and fun atmosphere. They have several dart boards, a pool table and live music on the weekends. If you like the pub scene, this is definitely a great place to check out.

Went in for a quick food and drink on a Monday. Very lively for a Monday with hip-hop and rap music. Food was surprisingly very good. The drinks were okay, asked for a woodford and coke and was a little to sugary tasting. Security at the door on Monday so I’m sure it gets even more full as the night goes ok but headed out around 12am which already had a good amount of people there.

This was our go to bar for years pre Covid. We would meet big groups of friends, have meetings, watch live music, eat, hang out, celebrate friends’s birthdays, etc. We have a lot of great memories at this location. We finally came back after 2 years and it has changed so much!! The service at the bar is absolutely horrible!! The younger bartender on Sunday late evening, 4/24/22 was so unbothered and made it obvious she didn’t want to be there. It was obvious she was having a bad night because she was complaining to what seemed like her manager about a patron. Well she definitely took it out on customers she was serving. The beer we ordered was completely flat and when my husband nicely asked if she could switch it out, she was annoyed instead of understanding. My husband never complains and as a bar owner himself is really understanding, but he commented how impolite she was. Didn’t even want to bother trying to order food. We definitely won’t be back. So disappointed. The atmosphere wasn’t the same at all which is understandable on a Sunday but I expected better considering how empty the place was. I will mention the doorman was really nice and was the only welcoming staff in the entire place. To add insult to injury, The server working the floor came behind me at our table, without saying anything, slammed a stack of glasses she was carrying into my glass to pick it up. We Didn’t bother staying after that, and walked to Vidorra which was so much better on so many levels.

My Husband and I came up there a couple nights ago and it was packed! Everyone was busting their butts and did amazing; but I wanted to shout out the Manager Nikk for a second. We watched him help every single employee. He ran food, helped in bar, ran drinks, cleaned tables. There wasn’t a thing he didn’t do! He came to our table and dropped off the drinks and was super friendly. He’s the kind of Manager that every establishment needs.

Fish and chips was tasty. Service was meh. Enjoying the the live music though The Max, playing rock music from the 80’s and 90’s.

Oh no!! Where is Mario? Where is the bathroom guy? Where is the Time Machine? OMG it’s an end of an erra. This was the spot for the longest. For many many many years. But the staples are gone and sadly this will be my last trip to Sherlock’s in Addison. Sherlock’s was host to my youth. I went through everything with them and that why posting this is so so so so so sad
