The steak was really awesome.. once i sent it back and got it cooked correctly.. first one i received was bleeding raw... The prices here are crazy .. you would expect great food and Atmosphere.. but .. its not great... They don't fill your beers but 3/4 of the way.. the rolls are hard and crunchy ,. .. the salad is just leafs and croutons. The $30 steak is really small.. but its really tasty!!! The waiter was too busy to offer refills or dessert... Fried pickles were good ... . I think its weird that when you get here the 2 hostesses have to take 2 minutes to look over the tables and figure out where they can sit you... .. menu prices on door are not the prices inside.

First have to give credit to the waitress. She was amazing and having a large group all arrive at the same time was handled with ease. She (Shay) was fantastic and joked with us knowing it would make things easier. Quick for beverages and was knowledgeable with sharing thoughts on selections on different cuts of beef. The only down side was the price. Willing to pay for a good stake and this was one but food costs to table costs were on the high side. Sides and options were all very good and no one sent with a bad taste in their mouths. Worth a visit and just know going in the price is a thing.

The hubs and I decided to enjoy a steak dinner while out in the Stockyards, so we figured we'd try out Riscky's Steakhouse. Overall, we had a pleasant visit. Our server Javier was cordial and attentive. He didn't linger; he knew how to time the check-ins. The food was good, but not stellar. We ordered the Texas Twosome, which comes with a 6 oz filet and 18 oz bone-in ribeye. My filet was nice, but my hubs ribeye was so much better. And my plate was filled with garlic mashed potatoes (my guess is to fill the plate with something). We also had the fried pickles, which arrived after our dinner salad. Not the worst thing, but I'd prefer the appetizer before starting the meal. Again, a nice lunch for two. I'll probably order the ribeye the next time we visit.

Natalie is the BEST WAITRESS IN THE STOCKYARDS!!!!!!!! I ordered the biggest steak and best steak because of her. I definitely think she needs a promotion and a raise. She is the reason the stockyards is so amazing!!! I definitely recommend requesting her! She will lead you the correct way on what to order for your first time there. I loved the food but my waitress is the reason I’ll be back!! Love u Natalie!

We visited Ricky's Steakhouse on April 29, 2023. It was a busy, crowded and colorful Saturday evening. We were strolling around the Fort Worth Stockyards, when we decided to visit here for dinner. The ambience was great, the decor was just like the colorful streets of the stockyards and the service was great. Before I get into the details of what we had for dinner, I would like to highlight that the Chicken Steak here were the best chicken steaks I have had for a very long time. We ordered the following: Chicken Fried Steak - $21 Half Rack Ricky's Famous Pork Ribs - $26 Flat Iron Steak - $30 Cowboy Steak * 2 - $26 each Grilled Chicken - $22 We had a simple menu for drinks (though there were many options available): Sterling Merlot * 2 - $10 each Bud Light Schooner *3 - $6 each Lano Sweet Red - $12 Well one surprising thing was that they charged for the sides. In general, we have the choice of 2 sides along with steaks without extra cost. But here we were charged, though there was no mention of it being complimentary. Anyway that was not a problem anyway, we ordered the following sides: Garlic Mashed Potatoes *2 - $1.50 each French Fries *3 - $1.50 each Stockyard Mushrooms - $2 Broccoli - $1.50 Server Jessica D was a great host as well.

My Uber driver recommended this place so decided to stop in. Ordered the cheese curds and the chicken fried steak. Both were awesome. The steak fries were HUGE. Service was great as well. Very convenient location.

Totally overpriced. 50 dollars in a Sirloin that tastes exactly like Texas Roadhouse. Besides that, the meal comes only with one side. Even the aged cut, which should be better, was not that great to justify the price. Do not get me wrong, the food, service, and atmosphere are good, but not enough to justify the price. I will not come back here.

My first time visit to this restaurant. The Kapusta Soup - the house special soup since 1929 - I like it so much I ordered 2nd cup. It is made of sauerkraut and it is full of flavors and a kick of spicy at the end. Chicken Fried Steak is a must try. One of the best seasoned and cooked chicken fried steak I ever had. If you are a brave foodie, try Calf Fries. It tastes like oysters 🦪, crispy outside and tender and soft inside. The server Greg was funny, attentive, and professional. The interior design fit the area Stockyard very well. I will visit again when I come to Fort Worth.

Overall our food was very good. Sweet corn appetizer was delicious as was my prime ribeye. It was cooked almost perfect and had a great flavor. The only downside was a long wait that wasn’t as long as they said but the text never came saying our table was ready. So we ended up waiting longer than we needed to. Still a good experience and recommend.

Great food and service here, the waitress we had was great! She helped us pick the most delicious options and helped with surprising my friend for his birthday! She brought out cake for the table and even tried writing happy birthday on it and gave it to us for free. The steak was great as well as the sides. Amazing food and awesome vibes!

We stopped in Riscky's while exploring the Stockyards & everything was delicious! I only got a side house salad and the Buffalo chicken strips on the appetizer menu but both hot the SPOT! The sirloin salad is a great meal if you have been out in the heat all day. Service is great...always keeps your water full! Recommend eating here while at the Stockyards!

Our waitress Larra was awesome, my expensive steak was over cooked and waited 45 minutes not because they were busy either. Other people received theirs... the broccoli bites and twice baked potato was great. Yes we did let them make it right and a manager came over and did nothing to resolve the situation

One of the best steaks that I've had. This place is set in the historic Ft Worth Stockyard Area and is like waking back in time. Don't expect a fancy or extravagant ambience, you'll be disappointed. However, if you think, working man's steakhouse with a historic flare, then you'll be thrilled! The ambience was really awesome, down to the glimpse of historic store fronts. The service was sincerely delightful. The food, well, like I opened with... one my favorite steaks. So swing in, grab some calf fries and pick the cowboy ribeye, you'll leave full and satisfied, promise.

The premium rib eye steak was great, big and juicy. also the sides - mushroom and fries on the side. The burger is great, too. Good cocktails and atmosphere.

Tonight is the 1st time I've been disappointed (hopefully the last time too) which is why this is not another 5 star from my family. This place is great, atmosphere is fun, servers top notch & meals are always awesome. We dined in then ordered a dinner & peach cobbler to go. The pic is what I'm assuming is my peach cobbler (hasn't been touched). It's about 2 spoonfuls of whatever because I can't even tell what it is let alone why I paid for it. I was upset since their dessert portions are usually great. Unfortunately I'll be checking my to go orders before I leave from now on.

Riscky’s steakhouse was the perfect place to kick off the new year. My group didn’t have reservations but were able to be seated within a short wait. I recommend the “Texas Twosome” it has everything you need. The steak melts in your mouth and the pecan carrots are amazing. Our waiter Phil was outstanding, gave us excellent service, and helped cure a group members heartburn.

We stopped in for a light lunch/dinner. We tried the fried pickles (yummy and plentiful)and escargo (really cheesy and not that good). For entrees we got the ribs (were a little dry and did not care for the rub or sauce) and buffalo chicken (juicy chicken and perfect portion). The ritas were delish. The decor is just ok. It was nice to see the facade buildings but it kinda made it feel small inside.

The first experience could be much better if we didn’t wait for our orders for 1 hour. Take it as a note if you are with kids. As for food, the steak was really good, very tender, juicy and fries were perfect. In every steak houses we were before the restaurant always offers bread and butter but not this one unfortunately. Liked the dessert too.

We stopped in here without reading any reviews. We both ordered the ribeye steak with a garden salad and I had the Mac and cheese. The steak came out perfectly tender, juicy and medium rare like I like it! The Mac and cheese was yummy as well but would have been excellent if it had just a touch more noodles in them. I also had the homemade bread pudding. If you ever find yourself in these parts and want a great steak - come here!

It was pretty busy, so we used the valet next door. I highly recommend using it. Our waitress was nice and attentive. We got the mountain oysters & escargot for an appetizer, and they were cooked perfectly. My wife and I both got the 14oz ribeye with the baked sweet potato with a ceasar salad. The steaks were cooked to perfection. I would definitely recommend coming here.

Overpriced mediocre food. We’ve had steak and lobster, I order medium for the steaks and they served us well done. The lobsters we’re over cooked you have to dip it in butter, otherwise it’s like chewing dry orange pulp. The escargot is stuffed inside the mushroom to make it look bigger. Their fruit juices are not from real fruits but from powder mix. The fries are too greasy and not crispy.

Our family had a delicious meal at Riscky's. Our food was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The steaks were delicious, lobster perfect, baked potatoes were fresh. The side salad was large and fresh. Our waiter, Phillip, was outstanding.
