I hadn't been here in a while, but glad we stopped by again. Be sure to make a reservation because the place is always hopping, especially on the weekends. Very good margaritas for a reasonable price, pretty good tex mex. I had the nachos and they were on point, service was really good. I wish they had more parking, but not much they can do about that. Looking forward to going again.

This place has a great atmosphere. The food is good. They bring out free ships and salsa. Tried the habanero honey bacon wrapped shrimp and table side guacamole. Had the combination fajitas for 1 . We choose chicken and steak. Had the sangria swirl and the mango passion lemonade. For full descriptions of this dinner, go to my Instagram page.

Everything from service to food was good! First time eating here and would definitely come back. The queso blanco is probably one of the best quesos out there. The combination enchiladas were delicious. The only note I would leave for improvement would be for the chip’s salsa as it was warm. Other than that everything was good.

We went on a Saturday night and waited 30 mins to be seated. We experienced racism at this location as a black couple. We waited over an hour for our food. We were told that our ticket got lost. Tables that were seated after us with large parties got their food before us. There were 2 other tables with black people that had the same issues and were also told that their ticket got lost. The manager compensated everything that we had ordered. We didn’t have to pay for a thing. Our rice and beans still came out cold. We also received raw steak when we asked for well done. Also, all the blacks were seated in the very far back or back in the corner.

This place was amazing. Would highly recommend giving them a try. Very good flavors and ingredients. A lot of smoky flavors BTW if you're into that is a plus.

Horrible food. I have never had service like this from uncle julio. I will not be back unless they can provide better quality.

Good food, friendly service, a little pricey. Basic ritas start at $10, and fajitas for two are $40. The beef on the fajitas is tender, the flour tortillas are hand made, fluffy and soft. The standard fixins with the fajitas. Chips are thin and crispy, the salsa is roasted chipotle. Was disappointed there was no heat in any dish. Asked for hot sauce and was offered Cholula or Tabasco.

I've been going here for several years and the quality of the food has really declined. I used to love to come here especially when I come from San Antonio to visit home. Prior to covid they had ribs, nachos etc. How can you be a Mexican restaurant and not have nachos amongst all things. I'm disappointed in the food and today since it's Veterans Day I asked for a military discount and was told only on dine in. Well if I'm taking the food home anyway I should be getting one but that's just my opinion Looks like I'll have to find a new place when I come home. It was good while it lasted.

Wonderful food, great staff and beautiful birthday pinata for my wife's birthday. Fresh fruit and churros inside with whipped cream and chocolate dipping sauce. So fun to watch her crack it open. Definitely make a reservation for large groups. We did for our party of 10 and were seated fairly quickly after checking in.

Wonderful fajitas. Tinder and jucy. Wait staff was on point. Attentive and friendly. Very busy when we went. They got us seated with no wait. Parking is tough durning busy hrs. Only one complaint. Dining room was extremity loud.

Exceptional!! I grabbed dinner with some colleagues while traveling through Fort Worth and have heard great things about these joints. It did not disappoint. We started with some of the yummy, smoky salsa which is incredible and also had the fresh guacamole and cheese dip for starters. Both were very good. One of the people at the table needed gluten friendly options, and the manager was very friendly and took the time to review the best options for her. For dinner I had the chicken fajitas!! They were amazing. Cooked just right with the right amount of char and flavoring. The others at the table had the steak tacos and the combination fajitas, and they said the dishes were very good as well. Pedro provided us with great, friendly and fast service. This is a Texas institution and you need to get here soon, friend. I can’t wait to go back one day.

Everything was delicious and excellent except three things, otherwise I would have given this restaurant 5 stars! 1. The classic margarita was awful. For a Mexican restaurant this should be a priority. 2. The waiter was changed mid party and created a huge delay of over 45 minutes, avoiding the entire party to eat together at once. 3. Last and foremost, my aunt noticed that majority of the menu items were spiced with pepper. So she asked the waitress if there was a substitution or some form of accomodations for people who don't eat spicy food. My aunt was told by the waitress that she recommends the Diablo shrimp but she would put notes not to add the spice! Needless to say my aunts food came out very spicy. Spicier than other plates of the same dish. After much time went by the waitress finally came over to see how everything was going. My aunt voiced her frustration about the food and that it did not come out per order (without the spice/pepper). The manager later came over and added fuel to the fire and actually made the situation worst and delayed correcting the issue. To add insult to injury recommeneded something else that can be added to the bill. Please remember this is a party of 30+ people and we had an issue with 1 order! I'm heavy on the fact that the manager needs additional training or should probably use his poor talents somewhere else in the restaurant 🤔

We’ve been coming here for years and it really never disappoints. It’s a loud restaurant which is great when you have young kiddos. Staff is always friendly and accommodating, food is perfect and the drinks are awesome. A little on the high side price wise but for what you get, it’s worth it. Highly recommend reservations!

The food isn't as good as it once was. Wife's fajitas were not very good. Ground beef taco about like a Taco Bell taco. Even the chips they serve are poor. Too thin to not break when dipping salsa. My enchilada was rock hard and I had to cut it with a knife. Service was great, but food actually will keep us from coming back. Too expensive to eat below average food no matter how good service is.

We had a large group of family dining for lunch on the weekend. Service was great. The food is always stellar as always. Really fun atmosphere for celebrating birthdays and every day.

The food is amazing, the service was outstanding, but the atmosphere is just terrible. The noise level Thursday night made the entire meal poor. The music is too loud, which made the table noise way to load. It made for a miserable experience. There are too many Mexican restaurants in the metroplex area to put up with that noise level. I have heard restaurants turn up music and Televisions to get customers to hurry up. No need to worry, I will not return. The food is great, but it just is not worth the high level of noise you have to put up with.

I only give atmosphere a 4 because our party was outside and the heater was not working on our side. Otherwise they were very accommodating for Christmas eve. Our waitress, Amanda I think, was top notch! The food was ok, my husbands steak fajitas were really tough.

Food was okay, one meal shady meats rice tastes like box rice , beans same no flavor meats , i don’t like salty food but these food was completely tasteless, brinks same plane , also please find a way to clean those water refilling cup/jar may look cool but you can see that hard water residue that’s not washing. Clean, waiter was way too nice and keep repeating his name. Every time he walked away laugh out loud.

Nice late lunch on a Saturday. Was busy, but enough seating. Food was good, but not outstanding. Wife had tacos and I had chicken Enchiladas.

I've always loved me some Uncle Julio's. Their warm salsa and the quality of food has always been some of the best in Fort Worth. My first time back in over two years since the pandemic and the quality of food has plummeted! It was gross. They raised their prices a bit, which I'm okay with as long as the food tastes good. I would have rather eaten a Jack in the Crack taco for lunch. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because of the staff's friendliness.

Although I feel it was overpriced,(or my ticket was wrong)I enjoyed my time here today! Joel was great! He helped me order from start to finish. Service at the bar was great! Drinks and food were tasty as well!

Went for the 1st time today. It was really good. Food was on point. Service was good. Food came out fast. Will be coming back. 👍

Freshness of the food they serve is a major contributing factor for what makes the wonderful meals they serve there so great. They have a full service bar there with a bartender and 2 capable assistants. I don't even think there is a freezer for food in the kitchen, much less a micro wave. They prepare those meals with fresh ingredients from scratch. Uncle Julios didn't write the book on Tex Mex, but their rendition of it has made the best seller list. Great job Uncle Julio's!

Large, loud, colorful, crowded, close proximity to everyone, and everything! Fast service, good food, flavorful and hot. Loved their chips, salsa and fresh tortillas. We had the tortilla bowl and the hatch chill and white enchiladas! Very good food and we were In N Out ,(no, not that one) in no time! They know how to manage and move a crowd through this place for sure. Nice place to bring your family.

Great flavor, great service, ok pricing. We got the Guadalajara fajitas and some queso Blanco. All the food was very good and flavorful. Love the Mexican butter. Tortillas are fresh and awesome.

Super busy but our waitstaff was exceptional and attentive. I had the steak fajita bowl (dude yum) and the El Jefe Margarita. If you have never had this spicy special amazing margarita, please do yourself a favor an order one or two but two if the restaurant's limit because...dang....so spicy and so good. I'll be dreaming of this drink for a long while.

We enjoyed the food and service at Uncles Julio. The fajitas were delicious and their homemade flour tortillas were amazing. Overall the food was great but rice was a bit dry and frijoles charros tasted like chili. I totally recommend their churros! Service was outstanding and we look forward to visiting again soon.
