Fantastic, authentic Mexican restaurant in Fort Worth area. This place is awesome. The staff are all friendly and very attentive. When you first sit down, they bring a generous bowl of chips and salsas. For those of you who enjoy heat, I highly recommend the more orange version. Regarding entrees, they have an array of offerings. I got the al pastor dish (see picture) as well as a pork tamale. Both were outstanding! Regarding drinks, they offer beer, wine, spirits, and margaritas. I got a large beer for only $4 which was served in a frosted glass. Overall, I cannot say enough good things about this place. I hope I get to travel back to this area so that I can eat here again. Highly recommended!

This one is my favorite Mexican restaurant, that too in my neighborhood! Isn’t it awesome. Great margaritas and they serve Menudo on Sunday’s.. Do reservations on weekends, evenings and holiday time..

Have been there once now and plan to go back soon. The service was good. The food was really good! The salsa was really good and they actually give you enough. I didn’t even have to ask for more. I think that’s a first for me! I recommend!

I got a shrimp cocktail, chicken tortilla soup, and sampler appetizer, and the food was great. The shrimp cocktail could use more flavor in the base sauce as it was kind of bland. I have had there other food, including fajitas, in the past and always delicious

Best Mexican restaurant for sure! Everything is delicious, and really fast. My favorite dish is the beef fajitas, and fav drink black Diamond margarita. All good portion for the price. My kids always eat everything on their plates.

I love this place and so do a lot of other people so plan to wait if you go during peek hours. I recommend the Tampico with chicken and the skinny margarita because they put lime juice in it instead of sweet and sour and you can choose your own tequila. Service has always been great. They do not take reservations.

We have been coming here for several years, even though it is not close to our home. We have always had great service and the food is wonderful. We were there yesterday with my son from out of town and we are so thankful for an exceptional dining experience! Our server was Lesly and she was always one step ahead of what we needed. She did an excellent job! My son said it is the best mole he has ever had. It is a meal to be remembered!

really fast service for lunch, even tho it was packed. the salsas were good. i liked the spicy one better. food came out really quick for being busy. if they only made thier own margarita mix, it would be 5stars in my book

This place tasted pretty authentic to me. The reason for my 3 stars is that you can find the same quality food elsewhere for more affordable prices. The food was exceptional, and I even enjoyed the leftovers I took home. But my major complaint is it’s very expensive. I don’t know why you would charge almost $18.00 for a quesadilla. But to each their own. I most likely will not be returning here. But the food was good.

First time here and won’t be the last! We were told 15-20 minute wait on Friday and night and waited about 25, but it was worth it! The salsa was so good we went through two bowls, queso perfection, brisket tacos and shrimp quesadilla SO good with huge portions. My husband and I could have just shared one! The shrimp quesadilla was stuffed with shrimp and the tacos we got on flour instead. Kids got typically chicken tenders and fries which weren’t anything special. Ended with fried ice cream and the BEST sopapillas I’ve ever had! Lost one star because our wait wasn’t super friendly but the food made up for it

Been here before and enjoyed great foods as well as great services. We came back expecting the same but was disappointed. It was a couple days b4 Halloween. Our waiter was dressed as an ugly devil with an ugly mean face. Not only the unpleasant appearance, the service was like what you’d expect in hell. It was inattentive, sloppy, and overcharged us for items we did not order. Foods tasted good. But our appetite was already spoiled by the ugliness of the services.

Service was fantastic and the only reason my rating wasn't lower. Amanda was great taking care of us. Very quick and checked on us many times. Food was so-so. The rice was cold and the salsa was really bland. All the food was very seasonless. We were really looking forward to finally trying this place because it's always busy and the reviews were high. Very disappointed.

Queso was creamy and good, big salsa was fresh but lacking a little flavor so I mixed in the hot stuff and made it perfect. Enchiladas were good but the tortilla was a little hard, had to use a knife. Rice was flavorful. They were really efficient with seating the lunch rush, but my server was a little lacking.

We visited Los Molcajetes on a Sunday around 2 pm. They were busy and we had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. This salsa was delicious and our waitress was quick to bring more chips and salsa when we asked for them. I ordered the quesadilla de camaron, but in my mind wanted the enchiladas de camaron. When the quesadilla was brought and I realized it was not what I had in mind, the waitress was very nice to change out my order for no price. However, I do not like frozen shrimp and it looked like that is what was used for the food. The taco salad was delicious and had good flavor. The Tijuana platter was just okay. All of the portions were very large and we had a meal for another day. I am not in this area very often and would probably not go back just to come to this restaurant again.

Had the Combo lunch fajitas, was just the right amount of food. Decent price. Unbelievably fast, it's almost as if they know what you want before you order and are eagerly waiting around the corner with it. Waiter was polite but his voice was so deep I could hardly hear what he was saying. Definitely recommend the beef fajitas.

This restaurant is really good the only reason I gave 4 stars is because the don’t do honor to them name, Mexican mortar “molcajete” my wife was starving and she ask me i I can find something around with a fajitas served on the “molcajete” some places offer this with cheese, chorizo etc, and I saw the menu online the have one special marked as molcajete special, that’s what I first order but they told me is not a molcajete is a different plate our fajitas comes on a regular pan… well I ask for mix fajitas beef/chicken/shrimp for two, I will say is too much food… the environment is really nice, flavor and salsa good, chips and salsa good! And the service was great, need to add the corn tortillas are home made.

This place never disappoints! The food is always good and the servers are always so kind and helpful. They are typically busy so prepare to wait some but they will text you when your table is ready so you can wait in your car. That’s a huge plus in Texas heat.

One of my favorite restaurants in the area. I usually get Carne asada. The meat is really tender and taste good. Home made Flour tortillas and the margaritas are delicious

Well it certainly is popular, as we had to wait 30+ minutes to get a table. Granted we had a party of 6. Our waitress was friendly and attentive but, needed to have a better command of English. This wasn't too much of a problem though as she had some assistance from the floor manager. The food was pretty good overall and portions were ample. The tortilla chips were light and crispy. This brings me to the salsa. They do things a little different there. The regular salsa in my opinion is too mild and has an overabundance of cilantro. They also bring a small cup of flaming hot chili oil. I think the concept is you can make the salsa to your heat preference by mixing. It's a novel idea but, be warned; the chili oil is hot enough to burn the nads off of a brass monkey. So be careful with that stuff. Although I gave them a 3 star rating it would be closer to 4 overall. Not my favorite Mexican restaurant but I would definitely eat there again when in the area. Again this is my opinion and you may think differently, it's definitely worth a try.

The staff is so nice and friendly! The sour cream chicken enchiladas are a family favorite! Always overstuffed with delicious chicken. And the chips are great! Always so fresh! Been going here for over 20 years and don't plan on stopping.
