Yess!!! I love this loaded Baked Potato full with delicious smoked brisket, cheese, sour cream and chives on the side. All for $11. You can’t beat that. I also tried the peach 🍑 cobbler for dessert. 😋☺️. So Good. Very kind customer service. I love it here. I wasn’t able to dine in but I would come back for that experience. Awesome BBQ❤️🔥

First of all - there needs to be more people here for happy hour because yall are CRAZY to pass up these deals. The burger was well seasoned, fries were not my fave and the brisket nachos was really good. The drinks are boozed well for a happy hour deal. The margaritas are large. My bartender, Olga, is super nice, quick and great conversationalist. She makes you want to stick around with her positive vibes, awesome smile and clear love for hospitality. I cannot say it enough - come here! Also, make sure to tip well because on a Wednesday night during Happy Hour she was the only one in the bar darting around while the kitchen kept cranking meals out to her with a Tom Segura lookalike (a compliment, I promise) bringing them out to her. Its a really nice, cohesive environment with great music (I am not a fan of country music).

Cousins just single handedly dominated the BBQ game with their "all you can meat" deal! In a world where Spring Creek BBQ has done away with their beloved endless sides and others are chronically plagued by just painfully small portions Cousins BBQ has said "heck with that mess, folks are hungry!" and brought on the all you can meat for $25/person! Cousins saw the entire industry doing some belt tightening and stepped up with a hold my not-bud-light beer attitude to fill the BBQ void. I just hope they know that "all you can meat" is now their calling card. Well done my friends. Out fregging standing.

They recently underwent a major redecoration/rebranding and I'm pretty sure they worked on their recipes as well cause the whole thing was awesome. Service with a smile, incredible food, great atmosphere. 10/10 will definitely be back.

This is approximately my 5th time here. Every time is the same as the 1st. Outstanding! Service is always fast and friendly, and the food is on par with Terry Black's or Pecan Lodge, at a way better price. $25 for all you can eat Texas BBQ is one of the best deals on the planet.

Best place to go and eat. Specially during lunch time. No need to wait for hours to be served. Fresh and fast. Best food in town. Love it 😊

This was our first time back since the renovation, and let me tell you that the face lift was a top tier upgrade! The ambiance is brighter and the food was awesome as it always has been. We are excited for the new menu items, and grateful for the outdoor seating option with misters and fans. You can't go wrong with their moist brisket and jalapeño cheddar sausage with a side of okra and mac and cheese. Everyone employed here is pleasant and friendly, even with the new found ability to see into the back of house, you'll get a kitchen worker smiling back, thanks for the great service y'all!

Great BBQ. I had the three meat plate with Brisket, Sausage, and Ribs. Coleslaw and green beans on the side. The brisket had great bark and smoke and was very tender. The ribs had a great dry rub and were cooked perfectly. The jalapeno was on point. The interior was very well done and the staff was super friendly. 10/10

I got the three meat plate with brisket and double ribs. That came with 4 ribs and 4 pieces of brisket. I also got 1/4 side of ribs, which was 2 ribs. I gave 3 stars for portion size and thickness of meat, compared to other restaurants. The flavor is okay on the ribs. The brisket was on the drier side but I liked the flavor. No ma’am on that bbq sauce. Okra was cooked and seasoned well. The greens aren’t terrible, but they are odd. They are pickley/vinegary and a little spicy, I can taste the hot sauce they put in them. I appreciate that the food was not salty. It’s Texas bbq, which is always just okay no matter where you get it from (but 10x better than Dickey’s).

I placed an order via the phone for a pick up before thanksgiving day. This was one day in advance to avoid the rush. The first person who tried to take my order could not and put me on hold for 15 minutes. No problem. I understand the restaurant is busy. The second person took my order but failed to tell me they cannot give 4 lbs of moist brisket. This is a popular item with my family for many years. Upon arriving on the day of my pick up, the order was a mix 1/2 lean and 1/2 moist brisket for a total of 4 lbs. I asked why and was given a long excuse of they can’t do that and they admitted I should’ve been told this when placing the order. I’ve now spent $166.70 for a BBQ Thanksgiving that is the wrong order because the cousins bbq team failed to let me know. No apology was given, no credit was given. The wrong order was given. Please note, we have been coming to Cousins for 15 years without an issue.

Its BBQ robbery. Go anywhere else for better portions for the price and sacrifice no quality in doing so. Beer on tap was flat. Left there hungry after spending over $25. The picture shows you was 21 bucks bought me. So bad its funny.

I thought Cousins would have improved after the renovation, but it seems like low value meat at such a high markup to pay for said renovation. This is not traditional Texas BBQ, not by a mile. The sliced brisket was so dry and dehydrated that it was basically jerky. Save your money and go to a traditional BBQ joint. BUT the folks were very friendly and this isn’t the worst non-authentic BBQ chain in Texas, so there’s that.

I have been to this location multiple times and never had any issues, except this last time. I'm not sure if they had a new hire cutting the meat or what, but they cut the bark and fat off (the flavor) off my cut. I did request lean, which is the flat side of the brisket and any self respecting restaurant and brisket fanatic knows that doesn't mean to cut the fat off. It's a pretty good deal, meat and sides for a reasonable price. The brisket is usually delicious, perhaps a little too much salt but delicious nonetheless. And usually ordering lean, I get what I want and they don't cut the fat off. This time they did and it ruined the brisket and the visit. Sides are usually pretty good, not much deviation but sometimes will get undercooked okra. Okra is finicky, a few seconds too long and it's burnt so I don't have any issues there. The relaxed bar room and dining room are cozy and welcoming. I will be back again but hopefully the cutter will cut the meat. I wish more restaurants understand that the end user can pull off the little bit of fat themselves and just cut the brisket as is. Leave the fat and flavor on it. I will update my review after my next visit. That is all....

First time we visit this restaurant and we had a big family group of 11. The food and service were great. I loved the banana pudding. I had the 2 meat plate with 2 sides and banana pudding. Some of the people in my group had the All you can meat meal, so they could order as much meat and sides and they wanted. The place was clean, including the restroom. Overall it was delicious.

I have been eating at Cousins for over 20 years and my husband since the 70’s. Usually go to Bryant Irvin location but I have to say it was so salty I could barely eat it. We tried McCart location tonight and the same. Brisket, beans, potato salad and all things the coleslaw too! Way to salty! Guess I’ll have to find another BBQ restaurant. Sad after all these years!

Decent BBQ, but high prices compared to equivalent options. I walked in, ordered a pound of brisket, a pound, or pork, and a rack of ribs, $101. Beware their menu pricing is by the half pound. It does say it, but I just looked for "meat by the pound" and ignored the "half". I went ahead with my purchase as it was late and I needed to get supper home. The guy at the register was very friendly and he even acknowledged a lot of people don't notice initially that is by the half pound. I don't recall going to any other BBQ restaurant and seeing meat priced by the half pound. Needless to say, I won't go back. If the prices were in line with the food quality, I would consider it. I can get equal or better for less and nobody is trying to trick the customer by how they price the product.

We really enjoyed eating here, it was good. The brisket was moist and the sides were okra & beans were fresh & so good. One of us got a stuffed potato and the potato was soft & they stuffed it high! Love that I can get a plate or pay by the pound. I forgot to take a picture as we dove right in!

I have been an avid fan of this place for years. They have the most amazing chicken in the area. I used to also be a fan of their brisket, which they offer in either "lean" or "moist" cuts. I like the moist cut, and the fat in that cut is rendered beautifully. However, in the past 2 years, it seems the bark has grown thicker on the brisket, and today I admit I found it a tad too salty. I couldn't finish the brisket. The chicken was still amazing, and the sides were awesome as well. But the salt content on the brisket bark needs to be toned down a bit in my opinion.

There used to be a Cousins near us. As I traveled yesterday, I saw it I had a great lunch. When I moved to Fort Worth, I had to search for a goog BBQ place. Their meats are so amazing. I don't know how they get such a good crunch on the outside and a soft finished meat inside

We came to visit our daughter in SWFort Worth. Daughter suggested Cousins. I'm very particular with BBQ, and Cousins did not disappoint! Food was tasty, queso was delicious, portions are for 2 meals, and the BBQ was moist and tasty!!!!

First time there, extremely awesome prices. Staff was on point and the food was excellent. If you haven't been there. Get there!!! You won't go wrong. Will definitely return soon.

Honestly, some of the best barbecue I've had in a while, at a great price point. Really nice to be able to get a 2 or 3 meat platter and sample their offerings for around $20. Great ribs, great brisket, great cowboy beans. Nice smoke, without overpowering so you can taste the quality of the ingredients. Let's not forget Mac n cheese 😉

We had mixed experiences. My wife's chicken was nice and most while mine was very dry. The green beans had so much pepper in them I couldn't eat mine. We were in agreement on the peach cobbler being too sweet and the banana pudding was nice and light.

Went for the first time this week and was very unimpressed. Atmosphere was great and service was good. However the prices were pretty high and the food quality was below average. The sliced beef was good quality (3 slices) for $18. The baked potatoe (which I subbed for my 2 sides) was barely warm... Couldn't melt the cheese on it. My wife had the ribs and barely ate one due to being so tough and grisly. The dog enjoyed the other two. Son said his plate was okay, and we both agreed that the sauce had little flavor. Lesson learned: next time we want to spend nearly $70 for three to eat bbq we'll go to another nearby full-service BBQ.

Lots of good food for the money. Sausage sandwich, fried okra, potato salad, and peach cobbler perfect. Hot and fresh. Has a drive thru! Delightful staff.

  • 4/5 John B. 1 year ago on Google
Was not pleased today with sliced beef sandwich. Limited amount of beef on bun for price paid. In other words more bun than beef. If BBQ was good really couldn't tell. Other BBQ places serve more beef on bun with chips and drink for cheaper price and in some cases better BBQ. Prob want go back.
