Boorays's was great. Chill environment. Professional servers. Great food, was not expecting the amount of food we got. You are going to get a lot of food, if you order the standard size. If you want to order appetizers, you should probably order the half size. Shrimp fettuccine was awesome, the shrimp was fresh and the pasta gloriously worked with it. Husband had the alligator platter which was crispy on the outside and perfectly tender on the inside. Appetizers were: Fried pickles and Swamp fries - as you can see massive. Excellent flavor. Saw a few bad reviews on here about service- maybe we hit a good night. We also don't expect servers to be over the top cheery. We thought they were professional and informative which was on point. Definitely recommend checking it out if you enjoy Cajun, or seafood.

Lunch menu pricing is very affordable (hubby & I ate for <$30). I had the 6-piece shrimp w/fries & their DELICIOUS green beans, hubby had catfish filets w/fries & mash potatoes (see photos). Great family atmosphere and friendly staff! πŸ‘πŸΌ

Went here for my birthday and it was, without a doubt, the WORST food I've had since moving to FW. THE. ABSOLUTE. WORST. Ordered charbroiled oysters and had to send them back after only half the plate was actually charbroiled... Or even fully cooked. Sent them back and I got back a plate half charbroiled and half BURNT. I was worried about sending it back again so I kept my mouth shut the second time. The ones that aren't burnt were not bad. Then we got our main dishes: two kids meals, a lunch order of shrimp fettuccine, etouffee and jambalaya dinner, and a chicken sandwich dinner. To start with the positive... The kids were super happy with their corny dog and grilled cheese - that's all the good there was. The shrimp fettuccine - the shrimp was WAY overcooked to the point it didn't really resemble shrimp anymore. The pasta was also overcooked into almost mush. The sauce was so fishy, salty, under seasoned, and thick with cheap cheese that hours later a still can't get that taste out of my mouth. The etouffee with the substituted jambalaya tasted like something was starting to turn or maybe had be left out too long. I think it was the tomato paste that had been lumped in. We sent it back because it was completely inedible and ordered fried shrimp... It came with fries that were not bad and green beans that were barely recognizable and tasted worse than they looked. The last meal was a chicken sandwich - the chicken was under seasoned and drowning in melted cheese. My daughter was hungry and tried to eat the whole thing... Until she ran into a big tendon making the rest of the mediocre sandwich inedible. We were pleased with the service from our waiter so we were sure to tip, but he was the only one there that wasn't mouthy or rude. The female in the kitchen... I heard you running your mouth and I didn't appreciate that at all. The restaurant itself seems to be in a slight disrepair. Tables need to be fixed, the walls are cracked and plaster is missing in large areas. Awful!!

Everything was tasty. Started with fried pickles...the batter was crunchy and tasty, not too salty and the ranch was delicious. The blackened chicken breast was juicy and not too salty, it was perfectly cooked. The 1/2 rack of ribs was huge. If you are looking for good Cajun food, this is a must try. The even have alligator.

Shrimp and Crawfish Fondue and Seafood Platter. Both were absolutely delicious. Great selection of tasty cold beers on tap. Friendly service from both bartenders. Can't wait to go back.

I enjoy good Cajun and Creole cooking. I heard about this place recently and had to give it a go. Went for lunch on a Friday and it wasn't too crowded. Got seated quickly and server was quick to take a drink order. I wanted to try numerous items so I opted for a lunch size shrimp etouffee, and two small sides, Red Beans and Rice, and Jambalaya. Food was delivered quickly by the friendly staff. These options all had three distinct flavors and spice level. The etouffee had a great flavor, mild to medium spice, and enough shrimp to almost have some in each bite. It was a little over salted. The sides were both very good. The Jambalaya had a good tomato base and was more medium spiced. The red beans and rice was mild with a nice smokey flavor. Atmosphere was fun. I can see how it might be a bit loud when crowded. Good music background. Large bar area. Large side rooms but no outdoor patio and only pets allowed are service animals. Looking forward to going back for happy hour sometime and trying some apps and cocktails.

We were seated as soon as we stepped through the door, our waitress was great, food came out hot and ready, drinks were kept filled and place was nice and clean. $14.49 $2.00 extra bread The 🍀 🦐 shrimp & 🦞crawfish πŸ«•fondue w/slices of toasted garlic breadπŸ§„πŸ₯– was out of this world! Even my grandson that "HATyrES" Cajun food! we had to move the bowl away from him when the bread ran out. If it had not had 🍀🦐 and 🦞 his πŸ₯„would have been out and he would have been going to town. πŸ˜† 🀣 We did have about 1/3 of a bowl to take home with us. The % of 🍀🦐 and 🦞 compared to the % of πŸ«• fondue was a bit βš–οΈ tipping today! 🀣🀣 We did have to order extra toasted to bring home though. It would not have been the same w/out it! Me.. $21.99 8 shrimp, stuffed with shrimp & crabmeat stuffing. Topped with crawfish hollandaise & served over white rice with green beans. I traded the rice for salad and I was charged $7. It was a very nice salad. Not worth $7 for a side salad though!! Menu said substitution allowed. Might want to let customers know you're going to charge them full price and not credit for what they leave off!! Stuffed shrimp was ok. The stuffing was really close to a puree almost. If they would add some of their wonderful garlic and herb bread(that they have made into crumbs) or use some of their croutons (which are really darn good too) the stuffing would be good. It was a bit offensive/off putting/like baby food. Just flat out didn't like the green beans. Not sure what type of sauce they were in. Hubbies... $16.99 chicken breast grilled & topped with shrimp & crabmeat stuffing. Topped with homemade crawfish hollandaise. Served with dirty rice & green beans. Substituted green beans for a salad and was charged $7 too. Hubby said chicken was dry and over cooked. He also was not crazy about the stuffing and it not having anything in it was almost pureed shrimp and crab meat. Grandsons... Cheeseburger with fries and was very good!! Popcorn shrimp with fries. The seasoned breading on the shrimp was very tasty. When we go back it will be fried shrimp for me!! Fondue and Garlic/Herb bread A+ Stuffed Shrimp C Stuffed Chicken D Cheeseburger A Popcorn Shrimp A Charging $7 for Substituting a side salad F. Staff A

Hubby and I went to Boo Ray's for the first time Friday night. It was busy, but a steady busy. The atmosphere was fun, but it seemed unfinished to me. Like one room was purple with beads and chandeliers. The room we were in looked like an old school cafeteria with a FABULOUS bayou murial on one wall. It was just odd. Our server was good. She seemed like she was preoccupied but never neglected our needs. The food was very good. My hubby ordered the appetizer sampler for dinner and, of course, had TONS left over. I ordered the jambalaya pasta. It was also a huge portion, but nowhere near as huge as that sampler. I will say, I think the competition has a bit more heat to their food, but that is totally a personal preference. The flavor at Boo Ray's was good.

Kids meal with Fried Shrimp was a blast! The shrimp was fresh and the fries were fresh and tasty. And, most of all, it didn’t get over seasoned!! My grilled Tilapia/w Lemon butter, on the other hand, could only get an ok. The dirty rice was too salty and the Tilapia, you can only taste the smoke and salt. The staffs were friendly and my drink was always full. We will definitely go back to another try!

It's not my favorite cajun restaurant. The crawfish was good, the fried sampler platter was good but who can mess those up? The jambalaya pasta was terribly bland with a couple of those teeny dime size shrimp that I had to search for and chunks of chicken. The fish po boy was two pieces of fish, lettuce and tomato, again very bland no slaw, no sauce.

Authentic food, friendly staff. A lil pricey but worth it. This place is a pleasant taste of New Orleans in Fort Worth. All that was missing was the "Hey my baabay" πŸ˜†

Service was excellent the decor is awesome. The seafood platter is the way to go it's a lot of food my husband and I ended up splitting it and still having leftovers! I recommend the potato casserole, but the mac and cheese was just basic could have used some seasoning and not overcooking the noodles. Maybe it would be better as a baked mac and cheese where the cheese later on the top like mama used to make :)

Awesome! I'm a big fan of Cajun food. This restaurant did not disappoint. My favorite dish at this restaurant is the gumbo. The gumbo was a little to salty but I loved it. I also loved the crab cakes. The parking lot is free and spacious. There was plenty of parking. This is a family restaurant. The restaurant was very clean and organized. I loved the music. The music gave me the feeling of being in New Orleans. This restaurant has a great atmosphere. I felt very welcome. The greeter at the front door of the restaurant was very welcoming. We didn't have to wait long and were seated promptly. The server we had was awesome and very attentive. He was very knowledgeable of the menu items and even helped to suggest items we should try. My favorite cocktail at this restaurant is the New Orleans HURRICANE. My daughter said she simply loved the cheese burger she ordered it had a smoked taste and she said she loved it. She said mom that burger was so good I want to come back just so I can order that burger again.

Everything was SO good!! I normally take a quick photo before eating, but we dug right in and completely forgot πŸ˜‚. I got the Savana’s Stuffed Filet (medium rare was perfect) and my boyfriend got the Blackened Chicken, both were so tender, juicy, and flavorful! Ended the night with their bread pudding and it was SO YUMMY. Super warm, soft, and just enough Jack to shake it up. The staff was very nice and welcoming. Prices are a bit high IMO, but I believe it’s worth it!

My wife and I used to love this place because the original in weatherford was such a drive. We always recommened our friends and family. Now, a $45 togo and nothing comes out right. What a 15 dollar well done burger looks like. And my wifes chicken came without the sauce which makes the dish!!! This is third time this has happened. JUST ANOTHER RAZOOS SCOTT.......

I had the fried catfish platter and subbed in grilled asparagus and grilled squash instead of fries and green beans. Very happy with my meal. The fish was perfect with lovely crunchy coating without a lot of salt. Grilled vegetables were perfect also. I even liked the hushpuppies even though I'm not usually a fan. Hubby had the alligator platter and he was very happy too. The gator was also perfectly cooked instead of over done. Our server Michael was appropriately attentive and quickly provided whatever we asked for.

We stopped in for Mothers Day, and the food was terrific! We started with some Fried Alligator as an appetizer. Next, before our plates, we tried a bowl of Crab Bisque and a bowl of Chicken & Andouille Gumbo. For our main course, we ate the Stuff Shrimp and the Cat Fish platter. All the food was delicious! The appetizer was a bit small (it happens. Ha ha ha!), this was made back up with the big bowls of soup and huge plates of food that we didn't finish. We will definitely be back next time we make into town. We enjoyed the atmosphere and great music. Excellent service by the by our waiter. Even after the table next to us was very rude to our waiter. Awesome!

The decor is nice. The food has went down and price has went up. The food use to be seasoned so good. Cajun food is spices it's not bland. We got fried oysters and they had no flavor. The boiled shrimp taste good, but difficult to peel.

Woaaahhhh! This place! Ordered a very large order for an office meeting. The order was 100% correct and ready when I arrived which is not normal when I order for a large group. Food is excellent. Catered a 15 person office meeting for less than $300!! Thank you Boo Ray’s!!!

This place has a wonderful atmosphere. It was absolutely wonderful food. Joseph was an absolute joy. He made us feel like family and treated my family like we were royalty. Even though one part of our food was undercooked he made sure that the food was made right. He was awesome and im so happy and blessed that he treated us so well.
