Fantastic customer service, Food was exceptionally wonderful as always. this is one of Mary Avina's favorite places for Food any time of the week, Especially after one of her pool tournaments. She is a professional pool player.

Our waiter was horrible. We had to keep asking him for refills, no napkins, no sugars, never brought the spoon after we asked twice. Many tables being served before us that came way after us and then our food was cold. Nicholas, the host that seats you, is terribly rude and ignorant. We frequent this place twice a week and he is definitely not in the right role and y'all need to do something with him! On the other hand, Jeremy today was quite a pleasure to deal with after rude Nicholas pawned me off on him because he didn't want to deal with me. Editing to add: Took my kids to the restroom after this review was written, when I came out Nicholas was pointing at me to a waitress that was hanging out at his booth. Walked by and let him know it was rude to point at people and speak about people. Oh, do y'all even clean the restrooms?? At checkout: I was asked how the visit was, told the 3 ladies it was the worst ever and they laughed and continued on to let us know about the Christmas sale in the store 🤣

The server was at our table before I even sat down! Outstanding fast and friendly service. We had the Grandma's Sampler. The only thing that could have been better would be to cook the pancakes a little longer. Great job Cracker Barrel Fort Worth Team!

No omelet on the menu. Got the biscuits and gravy which tasted bland. The biscuits were small and some seemed undercooked inside. The sawmill gravy tasted more like sawdust. They came with thick cut bacon which was a joke.

I've been to many Cracker Barrels and this one was by for the best one. My server was awesome and so was the staff. The food was absolutely delicious. I got the green chili chicken with green beans, steak fries and fried apples. It was all so good. Highly Recommend this location.

I’ve been coming to this Cracker Barrel since I was a boy. Now I go with my wife and daughters ever so often. It’s always enjoyable from the atmosphere to the food! If you get a chance the Pecan Pancakes are a must! 🥞

It was incredibly busy, but our lovely waitress, Rochelle, and the amazing food absolutely made it worth the wait. I will definitely be coming back again when I'm in the area!

The hostess chose a table near the window with a terrible glare. I asked if we could move over ONE table to not have a glare. The hostess went into a tizzy about the waitress & how unhappy SHE will be to have us at a different table!!!! Seriously! When is the waitresses comfort more valuable than the customer?!? On a side note…food looked & tasted wonderful! The store was very clean. UPDATE - I did speak with the manager & he said that he would take care of it immediately.

BEWARE SERVER ANDREW with a grill. I brought my family to enjoy brunch when we were unfortunately greeted with a man rolling his eyes and immediately acting as if we were bothering him doing his job. i informed the manager but she didn’t seem super interested or that she cared, so to defeat the odds of getting our food spat in, we left. 100000/10000 will NEVER recommend this place. despite me coming here since i was a kid. also reminder to find another job if you’re unhappy where you’re at :)

It was only 7:40 pm tonight & we decided to leave this Cracker Barrel to dine at Texas Roadhouse instead. We were being seated at a small table in a congested portion of the room w plenty of open tables in the same room. When we requested to dine at any of the tables w a little more space, we were told those were already closed down. It was more than 2 hours before closing. We just don’t understand how the guests‘ experience isn’t being considered in the operation. There wasnt even much distance to comfortably sit next to the other diners. Of course we understand if the restaurant is busy, all tables will be occupied. That was not the case at all, so why not give the guest a little comfortable space? We sadly do not recommend.

Always enjoy Cracker Barrel, with their huge menu, specials and all day breakfast is a stable of our family. Turkey dinner was lacking this time but the chicken tenders and pancakes where delightful. The loaded baked sweet potato was crazy good.

We ordered Thanksgiving dinner to go,. in 2022, so to avoid the long line as in previous year. The quantity was skimpy, and the foods were so so compared to dining in. Turkey, vegetables, sweet potato casserole, roll were OK. A tiny cranberry sauce was provided; no berry. The dressing was awful and it was not corn bread. It tasted liked a lump of flour. The pie was tiny, under cooked with white crust. Cracker is one of my favorite restaurants for affordable price and quality, and we visited there monthly, but this holiday dinner was disappointing. Perhaps the quality was better dining in. I think they should pay more attention to pickup order quality too. I sure wouldn't mind paid more for quantity and quality.

I use to wanna go here because they were one of the few places that served real sausage Pattie’s but now they are smoking their sausage Pattie’s and it’s not the same. They were under cooked and when asked for them to be fried a little longer she brought me back something that seemed were a day old Pattie’s. The waitress took no real interest in taking our order or providing good service. She didn’t even bring what I had asked for. I’m not sure if and when I will return and it probably won’t be back to this specific Cracker Barrel.

We got a table by the window & it was a lil on the cool side- the ceiling fan right above us was on so we asked if it cud be turned off & they did accommodate & without hesitation. Our server was friendly - and the food was awesome. I recommend the strawberry cheesecake pancake meal to everyone that reads this. This Cracker Barrel didn't give off that racist vibe that the one in Burleson has.

It was crowded, but I didn't feel rushed. I enjoyed a delicious pecan pancake with a sampling of meat during my brunch. The peach tea was just right. My biggest shout out goes to our server Judea! She was attentive, approachable, and always with a smile. I couldn't help taking home some delicious biscuits 😋.

Consistently a great place for breakfast or brunch. Food is excellent quality at a reasonable price. However, the atmosphere can feel claustrophobic due to the busy nature of the restaurant. While the restaurant benefits from staying busy and cannot control peak times, it is still something to consider if you are a person that doesn't like crowds of people around where you're eating. It can feel chaotic at times and not so relaxing. Also the rigid wood tables and seating are not the most comfortable and they are placed awfully close to other tables, so expect to be in close quarters with other families or groups while eating. All in all an excellent place for breakfast if you can handle the crowds and peak hours. Otherwise, I'd suggest going during time when it's not so busy for a more relaxing experience.

The food was OK, corn need it salt and green beans flavor. Other than that the rest was decent. Rated 3 stars because my husband had to get things for himself like a booster seat and high chair because our waiter was a young incompetent guy.

We went on Easter and the restaurant was packed. Nothing to complain about but the people working there also need a break to celebrate with their family. Hats off to the employees that ran the show while. Would love to see some real vegetarian dishes other than veggies and fruits.

I will preface this with the fact that the manager did compensate our meal, but I had to do the leg work for that rather than the wait staff. The location is nice, it was quick seating, and fairly quick service. Unfortunately, the cutlery had caked on food from the previous users—not hard water stains which I know are inevitable. Also, when ordering I asked for the gramma’s special and I requested the French toast. When the meal came out, I was given pancakes. I told the waiter that I asked for French toast so he took it back. I didn’t get the French toast until I was done with my meal. When I spoke to the manager at the pay counter, she said the waiter should have mentioned the cutlery issue to them at minimum. It altogether wasn’t a good experience.

If you're used to the old days be warned the hostess is at the front by the door - NOT where you have to travel all the way up front to get your name in. If you have a pinch of anxiety about stuff or people you'll want to wait outside. Service is good. Food will still hit the spot and it doesn't take too long.

We got on the waiting list online, which usually works amazing. But to be fair, it is a Sunday and lots of people got the same idea. Once we we contacted by our server Eric D, we forgot about the wait. The service was great and the food was outstanding. I will admit that I love Cracker Barrel, and am pretty biased, but I don’t give false praise. The food today was everything we hoped for. I am sharing pictures, but had to take a few bites before being able to write the review :)

Staff was preoccupied talking, playing on their phone, and eating. When we arrived the dinning area was pretty full so it took a bit before we were seated. We were told 20 min and it only took about 15. That is where the good stopped. The hostess came and told us they were cleaning our table and then we would be seated. The hostess and a waitress were witnessed walking in and out of the kitchen multiple time while the two of them prepared our table which is fine. The problem comes when they are witnessed walking out of the kitchen with mouths full of food. Service was extremely slow despite there only being 7 tables used when we were seated. Everything from the biscuits to the food to the check took excessive amounts of time. I would say refills took excessive amounts of time but our waitress was available so little that during our over 2 hour stay, due to the very slow service, my children and I were able to get 1 refill on our drinks, my wife never got one. Once we were finished eating came yet another wait so we could get our bill so we could leave. When my wife mentioned the poor service to someone she was told they have had a rough night. With only 7 tables being used in the resturant when we were seated and 5 when we left, rough or not, at that point service shouldn't have been so absent. We will defiantly be waiting a good while to see if the typical food industry turnover can bring in some staff that will have a higher standard of service.

We had a great meal with great service at a great price. Love supporting restaurants who are willing to invest in their people with training and support. Our server was knowledgeable, confident and kind. Wish I had grab some phones of our meals. We enjoy the rainbow trout, chicken fried steak, ham steak with eggs, chicken and dumplings and so many yummy veggies. All the food was delicious as well as the coffee.

Menu has changed and selection is narrow. The home style feel is still there but not the same as it used to be. My hostess did not provide me all menus (there's 3 for those who didn't know). My server was nice but was not too helpful. I got the grandpas breakfast which the chicken was at room temperature to feeling like it sat out. The hashbrown casserole was def over done and left out bc the sides were a little over chrisp. The tater tots were not cooked all the way. The little store has alot of random house hood things and less trinkets now but prices have gone up on a few things. Not sure if it's just this store or all but not sure if I would return due to quality of food and server.

I ordered a sangria at the price of $4.99 to receive a barely half full glass of a very bitter unpleasurable drink. The service was lacking to say the least when I received my food I got the sampler deal the meatloaf was incredibly burnt on the top. I found five small bones in my chicken and dumplings and my fried okra is cold and soggy. I asked for a glass of ice water three times and never received a glass of ice water. The food that I did receive was all very bland with absolutely no taste whatsoever no seasoning. I cannot see what the appeal of this place is and I would not recommend it to anybody nor do I have any intentions on going back.

An hour wait to be seated but then once seated waitress forgot us...no drink, no contact... after another couple was seated next to us, they receives drinks and ordered food our waitress still hadn't stopped by. I found a manager and she assigned a new waitperson. Service still slow but I got to eat, drinks never refilled. Food was good and hopefully no glitches next time.

Long long wait times, host sits same waitress with 4 or 5 tables at a time, so they don't have to continue to deal with guests, food was cold after waiting 45 minutes for it, asked for management & they didn't care just offered to recook food. The only good thing about this experience was our servers, Dakota & Jamie. They went above & beyond their job to make our experience better & to make sure we were satisfied even though they were extremely busy & the only 2 servers working. I came in around 3 & left around 4:30 or so & no other employees had come in to help them yet.

Come on Cracker Barrel, you can do better than this. Do y'all not wash your fruits!? Usually the fruit is super juicy and fresh. But I took a bite of strawberry and said to my husband, "The fruit is super dry today." And as I went in for a pineapple, this dead BEE was chilling out. Do y'all not wash the fruits? Was the fruit left over? What's going on? And to also mention, my husbands chicken was dryer than the bone itself. Inspect y'alls food before giving it to a customer. Shame on y'all.

Like other reviews say, this place is definitely understaffed. We went late afternoon on a Thursday since it was close to our hotel. They weren't super busy at all. First we walked around the store (normal and clean, nothing special to write about) and then went to get in line. In front of us is a large family that was told the restaurant didn't have a table to fit them all and the family had to decide what to do. Kinda strange, considering there was maybe 7 tables being used at the time. We were seated and after a while our waitress finally came over. I had already glanced at the reviews and could figure this girl had too much to handle thanks to brilliant staffing on the restaurant's part. We ordered and the food came out fast. I needed ketchup. No condiments on the table. FIRST I ask the person who brought our food for ketchup. She repeated my request like she hadn't heard it correctly and left. Then our waitress comes over and I ask again (SECOND). We wait a while, and then she comes back a while later and remembers I needed ketchup (THIRD). I am vegan. This obviously is a HORRIBLE vegan choice, so by the time I got ketchup to eat fries and okra, I was almost done. My friend liked his food, but the eggs were not what I would consider scrambled, and my friend didn't want to eat it.

I have been to many Cracker Barrels before and have always received good service but THIS was NOT it. The hostess that took our reservation was very sweet (even joked with us) and got us seated at a table within the time frame of what we were told we would have to wait for a table. Unfortunately, that's when things started going downhill. Our waiter had no issue confronting the hostess about his frustration when he sat us at our table in front of other customers and then took a while to get our drink order. We asked for four waters and a coffee- simple enough? Instead, he brought us the two waters and coffee at first. We asked for the other two waters, which he came back with only one water and we had to ask him for one more. Took a long time for him to swing back around to order our food and when the food came out the portions were way smaller than normal for a cracker barrel. He never asked us if there was anything else he could get for us and never came back to check on us. When he brought us the receipts, he got frustrated when he handed us the receipts to the wrong person sitting at the table where we ended up just telling him we'd figure it out. Now, I understand he could've just been having a bad day. BUT, as someone who worked in customer service for 4+ years, I never let customers assume I was just having "a bad day". I always greeted them with kindness and a smile, and none of that was received yesterday (02/04/2023) from our waiter. I also have never not tipped anyone before, but this was the first time that I was seriously tempted. My group (3 other girls) felt the same way as me, and I hope that his attitude didn't affect other groups like it did to ours.

I feel like this location has gone downhill recently. Always a staffing problem or lack of food available. Always love the atmosphere and most of the servers are nice but the wait times for somone to take your order, bring you your food, and refill drinks is getting pretty crazy. I used to love coming here but lately I find myself going to a cafe instead because the service is more reliable from day to day.
