This place is hands down fresh and delish. It's on my must stop list for Fort Worth. The kebab salad is amazing, and the cakes are a visual delight I hope to try soon!

First time coming here yesterday with the family! Very cute place but there was no hello, welcome, or anything when we first entered. We were standing around wondering how everything works till we finally asked. And trying to get a peach tea is complicated as well since nothing is labeled. I ended up getting a chicken Caesar salad but the lettuce was old and had pink all through it. Everything else was amazing though besides the salad! And it's very kid friendly too as a sweet woman brought my kids out a giant paper to draw on while we waited for our food to come.

If you are looking for healthful food without sacrificing taste this is a good spot. Quick counter service and great options ( no calorie count though). The iced tea is self serve but it's the only place I have ever seen mint leaves for you to add to your tea - also lemon slices and orange slices - nice touch! Tons of great food options and it all tastes wonderful and fresh. It was full. When we arrived but we were. Still served quickly.

The food was absolutely fantastic!! We had breakfast and lunch. The breakfast plate was great. For lunch I had a salad and sandwich combo. Awesome! Everything tastes FRESH. The melody of flavors in the sandwich….yummy!

(To be updated with pictures later.) A definite no-fuss go-to for locals in the area. My S.O. and I heard about this gem through a friend a few months ago and have been repeat clients ever since. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and they have options for everyone. It's now one of my favorite LOCAL cafes/delis to go for a great lunch. You go up to the counter to order then sit down and have your food brought to you, so it's not a place where you're waited on. (Refills are also available for you to get for yourself if it's coffee/tea typically.) Nonetheless, the LFK staff does a great job at efficiently taking/filling orders and keeping the place clean. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great casual lunch spot. Just beware: there's a bit of a crowd during lunch rush hours due to it's popularity! TL;DR: This place easily trumps any chain deli restaurant by MILES. Support your local businesses and come here for a great meal.

This is my favorite place to eat lunch in Fort Worth. No money is ever wasted here. Everything is tasty just wish my stomach and wallet were big enough for more! After being disappointed and dissatisfied with Jason’s deli, Panera, la Madeline’s and others my heart always feels right at Local Foods Kitchen. Every flavor is fresh, rich, and noteworthy. They even serve wine for the enthusiast. Pastries galore I can’t believe they do catering…. That’s like a dream come true. It does get very busy and there is little room to share with others so try to go for brunch or after the lunch rush so you’re not waiting outside.

5 stars ⭐️ for their beef pot pie! Best pot pie ever! Beef is super flavorful and tender pie crust is very lite and flaky. Yum 😋 soooo good!

Five stars plus! Featuring the foods and meals you would stock and prepare in your own kitchen if you were Meryl Streep in the movie, "It's Complicated." Right down to the plants in jars, on the patio and around the front entry, it is all good here. We stopped in for a weekday breakfast and made the choice of blueberry pancakes, crispy breakfast potatoes and an avocado toast with poached eggs on top. Amazingly, this was some of the best avo toast I've ever had! I take it very seriously. It was just as good as in Australia or Asia or Seattle, and yet...better, because the edge crust of the bread was still tender while the center was never mushy. Perfection! The pancakes meal was huge and flavorful. Fluffy, not too sweet pancakes and nice fruit compote berries slathered on top. We had coffee with our meal, then had to order some of their gargantuan cookies as a breakfast dessert and also to takeaway for friends. Amazing place! Hearty foods. Healthy foods! If you have a lighter calorie requirement, though, do consider sharing one breakfast. As it is I think this meal will hold us til tomorrow!

Had no idea how big the servings were. My first time here. I had the SBLTA sandwich and the truffle fries. I will be back for sure!

Run here. This place is consistently great. Yes, they get really busy and the restaurant is small but that is indicative of how great the food is. Tip: you can order any salad as a wrap and it’s a game changer.

I got a chance to eat here at lunch today and the food is incredible! Everything looked wonderful, and I hated having to just choose one meal. I had the roasted vegetable lasagna, which was fantastic. It’s a shame. This is not closer as I would be there very frequently, but I cannot wait to go back and try some of their other foods.

I really wanted to love this place. I had heard really good things so maybe came in with expectations too high. I got a wedge salad and Reuben combo. The wedge was amazing. The sandwich was just fine. The ratio of ingredients wasn’t my favorite and the bread was so crusty it chewed up my mouth. The desserts and salads were fantastic. Maybe I just ordered the wrong sandwich.

It was okay. Let me explain: moderate line out the door, only outside seating available, asked for two different menu items at lunch on Saturday and both not available. Luckily the Cubano was available and was the sandwich of choice this day. Tuna was okay but the bread was dry and underwhelming. Again, more meh with the garlic fries, no taste of garlic. Desserts were plentiful and we ate them before I got pics—Sorry 😁.

Food is great! It a whole lot of selection but enough to find something you’ll like. The homemade dressings are superb. Service is usually pretty good (there is one older lady, maybe 50s, who is always curt and unfriendly).

all I can say is WOW! A vegetarian and vegans Paradise. The food in the display case...I truly have never seen anything so colorful, so clean, so appetizing. And even though it was very crowded I was able to hold a conversation with my family. The time just flew by because it was so enjoyable. I now have lasting memories of this place... And I certainly will return it my earliest opportunity!!!

This place was wonderful! Arlington needs more of these types of places. We've been trying to eat healthier except it's super hard to find stuff when we are out. When we do find something, it's a chain restaurant salad that's mediocre or something we end up eating all the time. This place has so much selection. The people are wonderful, and the food was fantastic. They were also super nice to our kids. The portions were also huge. We can't wait to be back in the area just so we can eat here again. Even my pickiest eater loved it.

Beautiful place with delicious food! Everything is served so artistically and the seating areas have a nice cozy feel. One of my favorite spots!

The choose two combo was wonderful and it was easy to find some vegetarian items. The staff was kind and although busy took care of us well.

I stopped in for a quick lunch with family. The staff is very warm and considerate, and felt like instant family. I had the fish tacos with chili fries. I used the side of salsa for dipping fries and wished I had ordered more salsa. Fish was cooked perfectly and seasoned with chili spices while not being too hot for my tastes, then topped with cotija cheese and slaw. The tacos were huge. I expected fries to be spicier based on their color and they too were perfectly balanced for my tastes. One guest had the roast turkey and also loved her sandwich, with grill marks on each side. The other guest had a salad and raved about it. By far this was the best meal we had while in Fort Worth.

It’s very busy for a reason. It’s great! I always get a chicken Cesar salad wrap. It’s the size of your head. Makes two lunches and is amazing. Also a great place to pick up some dinner when you don’t want to cook from their cold case. Chicken enchiladas highly recommended.

This restaurant goes on our list of go-to restaurants. We love a good veggie sandwich and their Hippie Crunch sandwich is great. Amazing flavors. We're looking forward to trying out more of their menu.

One of our absolute favorite spots in Fort Worth. So much so that we had them cater our wedding! The food is always wonderful, the service is always friendly, and it's always a pleasant experience. Don't forget to get a sweet treat before you leave - everything is incredible!

My friends and I LOVE this restaurant. So I had them prepare beef Wellington for my Christmas Day dinner with friends. AMAZING!!! Best we have ever had and we are foodies! We all agreed this will be our holiday tradition every year! Katie & April always make you feel like family. Steven Borden
