We took my in-laws here to celebrate their anniversary. It was our first time to this place and found the ambiance to warm an intimate. This would be a great place for a date night. The service by our waitress Neveah was fantastic. The staff in general was very warm, welcoming, and eager to be of service. The food was delicious. We started with the appetizers "Randy White" Ravioli and Calimari both were delicious. I tried the Sautéed Shrimp Scampi, which was a little different in the sense the shrimp wasn't cooked in/with the sauce but I still really liked it. My wife got the eggplant parmesan it was the best I've ever tasted. If you like Italian food this is the place to go.

A staple for the local crowd and a gem for the visitor just looking for great "Italian food" with the appropriate atmosphere. Love the place never miss stopping when in Dallas... The "Italian Style Crab Claws", a slice or two of any of their Pizzas, accompanied by a cold beer will change your perspective on the most trying of days. A+

Very nice little Italian place. Practically empty on a Sunday evening. Lots of personalized attention. Loved the place. The food was good - not the best but better than similarly priced places. Dessert was best and we'll presented.

I really enjoy the pizza. Probably should have gotten a side of extra sauce for the Alfredo one, but their chicken is seasoned well.

Great service, horrific, bland, over priced, small portioned food. Chicken piccata was dry, unseasoned, no lemon juice, minimal butter, with 6 pitiful capers. James Gandolfini rolls in his grave.

Nice interior is the best part of this restaurant. The wait staff was curt and obviously not interested in serving our table when there were other patrons who were drinking liberally while we ordered water. The menu is un-Italian, uninspired and unejoyable.

Overall the dishes are great. Salad could be better as it was very vinegar tasting. The atmosphere is calm and very dark even during the day (we went around 1pm on a weekday).

Very dark restaurant with standard Italian food. Chicken Piccata was missing the distinctive lemon flavor, and the chicken was grilled, which was odd for that dish. It was served with plenty of angel hair pasta but had very little sauce. A salad consisting of torn head lettuce, one olive, and one pepperincini came with the pasta meal...very underwhelming. The star of our meal was their one-if-a-kind pizza, with the cracker thin, crispy crust and usual toppings. This is what has made Campisi's a Dallas institution for so many years. The staff is efficient, and managers are very welcoming, adding to the neighborhood-friendly vibe. We'll keep coming back... but will stick to the pizza next time.

Truly one of the best Dallas institutions. The food is always consistently delicious and you will be delighted every time. The bartender is lively and greets you like you are family. Portion sizes are still generous and you have enough for a midnight snack.

Very nice place for a dinner date! Dim and peaceful. Free appetizers bread and salad. Their food tastes great! Will try more food next time.

So happy we found this place!! Super close to the airport. This little gem is hidden in a strip mall and shouldn't be passed up. Once inside it is beautifully decorated and a lovely up scale restaurant. Small bar with great selection. They have a few tvs around the restaurant so you can watch your favorite sports while dining. A perfect date night spot. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. Service was friendly. Spent some time chatting with the manager who was super friendly. To top it off, the food was fabulous!! Loved the fresh bread, bruschetta was perfect. Their pizza is awesome! They have awesome marinara!! Wish we lived in town because we would definitely go back to try the chicken parm and other menu items. Really can't say enough good things about our experience here!!

So upon entering, the restaurant was very dimly lit. Coming in from the nice sunny day, took us of guard. The restaurant itself is a little on the small side and the tables did feel a little too close together. I hate I forgot the VERY nice gentlemans name who, provided us with a table, menus and ordering process. Evey employee there, was very nice. The food was D-lish! A tad on the pricey side ($81 for two adults and two kids), but, well worth it.

Amazing food, service, and atmosphere! We were brought to this jem by a local, while we were visiting. The best meal we had the whole trip.

It was very oily & it had no flavor to it. I was pretty disappointed, and there was not too much meat or mushrooms like I requested 😢

We love Campisi's, it's our go-to for take out Pizza.. I like it AND my 6 year old likes it, and that's not always the easiest combination. This trip I decided to order one of my favorite dishes; Veal Marsala, and sadly, I was disappointed with how tough the meat was. When I order Veal, I expect to be able to cut it with my fork, and that just wasn't the case tonight.. I found myself having to over-chew the meat. The flavor was great, it was the meat I had an issue with, and maybe it's just not the best item to order to-go. They have other great items on their menu, like their famous Crab Claws, you can't go wrong with that. I will continue being a customer of Campisi's, this location and the original on Mockingbird.

Great food! The gluten-free pizza crust is some of the best I've ever tasted. Fun ambience and good service.

Went for lunch and was very impressed. Had the angel hair pasta with grilled chicken and it was delicious. Also ordered the lunch special sampler and everything was delicious highly recommend giving this place a try!

Rare opportunity to dine in after a performance at the Flight museum. Scampi appetizer didn't make it to the table but the dinner salad and pizza were fantastic, as usual. A dedicated customer for 40+ years.

Incredible service! I met an old friend today for lunch who is so beautifully pregnant and the staff went out of their way to ensure she was taken care of and treated! It was so unexpected and add an extra delight to our time together.

This Campisi's atmosphere is sexy dark I think really romantic. Didn't even know there one in this area. Food good, great hospitality everyone really nice. Went on a lunch date but wish it was for dinner. Looking from the outside wouldn't have thought it looked like it did inside not like the other Campisi's. Must go back for dinner at night!!

Great local restaurant. No matter the location, they always have good food and great service. The ambiance at the Lover's location is nice with the blacked out windows and dim lighting. I've enjoyed most everything here but the pizza is top notch. Thin crust baked to a perfect crispness, with fresh toppings. My only quibble is the garlic toast.

Ordered a pizza, calamari and spaghetti for the group. The food is very good, the staff was very friendly. Been to many locations, the Lover's Lane location is on the small side. Call ahead and reserve a table.

Waitstaff very pleasant. You order at a counter and then food is brought to you. Struck me as an odd experience. Lunch lasagna was decent portion size. Experience wasn't bad just not superlative.

I was expecting local dive pizza spot. This place is fancy but not too fancy. Very nice staff. Pizza was really great.

First time. Food quite good, nice Chianti with dinner. Server very friendly & attentive. Not sure if usual situation, but VERY NOISY. Possibly due to large number of young kids, rather unsupervised. Would return when/if quieter.

I love Campisi's! There's a few different branches around Dallas, but the lovers lane location is such a Park cities family dive. I love that the opera music is playing, the lights are dim, the bar is full, the cocktails are good, and their food is generally on point, with the pizzas IMHO taking the spotlight. This is become a weekly regular spot for me and my family! Super relaxing

First off Chris is amazing!! He was so personable and kind throughout our whole first experience at this location (even with showing up an hour until close). We thought we lucked out with just our server until we were introduced to some wonderful Joe’s Toast and pizza, would always recommend.

Excellent service & food! We hired Campisi's catering for a corporate event and we were so pleased! Kim, Catering Sales Director, helped me get everything set up and planned. She was communicative, professional and knew exactly how to help. On event day, Mark & Erica showed up and handle the whole thing with little needed from me! They did an amazing job and the food was delish! They were kind, friendly, efficient, on point and everything ran so smoothly! I really appreciate that last part the most, as party planning can be so much already. They handle it all with even so much as one problem. The food didn't stand a chance. It was so good that even the leftovers didn't make it far. We will def use again!
