The salsa is different, there no heat and it’s great for the kids. If you like heat in the salsa, your going to be disappointed. The fish taco is very good. The black beans was kind of spicy. I don’t like black bean, but will order it again. The cilantro rice is bland, like it should be. The beef and chicken enchiladas are good. The taco was good. The typical rice and beans are good, nothing special.

We came to celebrate my aunt’s 60th birthday and the food was less than stellar. We had a reservation for 5:30 pm for a party of 10 and didn’t get our food until after 7:30pm. Most of our food was cold, some of it was made wrong and portions were not correct. The chips were also very stale. The staff was patient and did what they could to correct it, but it we were far gone. Overall Uncle Julio’s is just not what it used to be.

I am currently sitting at a table in the restaurant. I was seated at 1:05. It’s now 1:25. It’s been 20 minutes and no one has been to my table. No acknowledgement that I’m here and two different servers have walked by. Literally sitting in the middle of the restaurant and people who came in after me have ordered. I’m looking at a menu with two different prices as well.

Service was okayish. They are understaffed which we completely understand. Our server was nice. It took about 9 minutes to get our veers put in our order then and about 5 to 7 min after the food came. Needless to say we didn't eat. We ordered fajitas for two and the chicken wasn't just a small portion for two people it was severely undercooked parts were translucent pink and bloody. I was amazed at how fast it was but once I took a look at the meat I completely understood. We didn't eat paid for our beers and left. It's sad this is the second time we've given them a chance and the same thing has happened 😔 oh well I hope they figure things out and hopefully this place will one day live up the the reputation of the original

Enjoyed dinner and the taco bar special on Taco Tuesday. Never seen something like that but definitely enjoyed it. Shared it with another person and we had plenty to eat on. Also loved the Strawberry Margaritas!

Staff was great, and food was better. We asked for some corn tortillas, and we were brought 2 orders of corn and 1 of flour. (No extra charge 😜).. We also asked for some 1 order of roasted Jalapeños and were brought 2.... I absolutely loved the self pay!! No complaints whatsoever, I will definitely try again...

The restaurant is really nice looking, and the service was very good. The food was just so so. We had a shrimp appetizer, but the shrimp didn't taste very fresh. Same with the fish tacos.

I had a V-Day experience at this location. Parked with no problem but of course everyone and their mama was there to eat. With no reservations, it was only an hour wait (the host broke the news and the most gentle way), however we decided to just seat in the bar. Server came immediately and we ordered with ease. Food came out promptly and it taste amazing. The bathrooms were even clean… this the type of service that will have you coming back for more! Thanks. Excuse some blurry pics… night was getting tipsy lol

What a gem of a place that we have totally overlooked for too long. When I say this place is known for their fajitas it’s because they are no joke. These are flavorful and perfectly tender whether you order beef or chicken. Food tastes fresh and you can definitely tell when you are eating good fresh food. I recommend trying their margarita of the month as they do a very good job with both liquor ratio and presentation. These watermelon margaritas did not disappoint. We appreciate the good food and great service and will be back again.

I love the atmosphere here. It's so fresh and inviting. My sister has been before and was looking forward to the tableside quacamole, but Covid ruins everything, you know? They couldn't make it at the table, but they still make it and it's fantastic! I forgot to get a pic because we dug right in but it was the prettiest quac I've ever seen. I had a beef fajita bowl and it was quite tasty. My sister had the taco salad, and wow! A beautiful cornucopia of colors and flavors. I was surprised at the dessert they offer, I've never seen anything like it. It's a chocolate piñata. They give you a little mallet to crack it open and inside is a combination of pineapple, strawberries and churros. A bit too sweet for my taste and the chocolate tasted kind of fake, like that cheap Palmers chocolate, but it was a cool experience, especially if you have kids. The only thing that irritated me was their take out boxes. They were so small, those little Styrofoam divided containers. I never thought I'd care about take out boxes until I tried putting my leftovers away. All in all, a great experience. Oh, and the blackberry margarita was DELICIOUS!

The food was good. The drinks were good. The service was absolutely terrible, I've gotten better service from a self check out. Our waitress took our order and that was the last time she came to our table until we asked for a check as she walked by. Halfway through our meal I had to go to the bar to get a refill on soda for my wife, because the waitress couldn't be bothered. If your looking for good food for take out this place can give you that but if your looking for an enjoyable meal I would recommend anywhere else.

You can't come to Texas and not enjoy Mexican food. The chips & salsa were really good. I ordered ground beef tacos, hubby ordered steak tacos. Both came with rice and Ranchero beans. Everything was really good. Service was very good as well. Our server was attentive and nice. 😊 It's a busy place so you may want to call ahead to reserve a table.

Its a very fine mexican restaurant. Totally impressed with the ambience, usually full so better make a reservation.. The food is pretty good, we enjoyed our lunch on Easter here.. They have a dessert called chocolate pinnata which is worth trying for their presentation.. We were just the 2 of us so it was too much for us but if you are a group then go for it and break that big chocolate ball.. They also have a wide variety of tequilla, 40 different brands as of what i remember and different margritas as well.. They serve wine, beer, margarita and tequilla..

🥰My sister and I visited on a Saturday afternoon and we both ordered the chicken fajitas. They both came out sizzling and HOT!! They came with rice, beans fresh shredded cheese, sour cream and guacamole. We were served by James and he was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back again soon! 🩷🩷🩷🩷

The food is pretty, but disappointingly lacking in flavor. If you like fare from the Herrera Brothers or Mercado Juarez, this will leave you sadly unsatisfied. It is conversationally quiet. In my mind, a restaurant's overall rating can't be higher than it's food rating. I would rate it a bit higher as a bar as the house margarita is mediocre but not bad. The salsa has no bite and it's nearer to pesto in appearance and flavor. Not much Mex or Tex in my dishes. I had the beautiful chicken enchiladas and two margaritas.

Went here for early Mothers Day dinner with the wife. Made a reservation for 7pm and showed up 15 minutes early and they seated us early. Ordered the table side guacamole, which is fantastic. Then ordered the Guadalajara, which was amazing. Food was hot and fresh, cooked perfectly. Waitress kept chips on our table without prompting. Customer service was great, everyone was pleasant and friend. It was a great experience.

The freshest and most del5tacos and enchiladas I've had in a long time. Very tasty and customer service is great. 2023.02.17 visit Wait times for pickup orders are starting to get longer than normal. Still great tasting food and some of the best seasoned tacos you'll find anywhere.

Prices are a bit high, but food and service are 5 stars. We ordered fajitas, shrimp wrapped in bacon, Carnitas, comes with spanish rice and ranchero beans, and homemade flour tortillas (only the flour tortillas are homemade). Free chips and salsa are a plus, and let me tell you, their salsas are great!. Our server was really attentive and friendly. The place is pretty busy, so get ready to wait for a table. Recommend it 100%

I had an early dinner at Uncle Julio's Arlington on Sunday. They are still holding the standard for tasty table side guacamole and good drinks. I only gave 4 stars this time because my tortillas we a bit rubbery on the enchiladas I ordered this time. That being said, I remain a loyal customer and will continue to recommend.

This restaurant is one of my favorites however, I took my husband to dinner yesterday for Father's Day. The restaurant was not crowded when we arrived so we were seated immediately. The waiter was nice and very attentive. After ordering our food, eating chips and finishing our drinks, we waited for over an hour and our food never came out. The waiter came by and said he would send the manager over to our table because they kept telling him that our food was coming up but never did. The waiter checked back about 15 min later to see if the manager had come to our table and I told him he had not. About 10 min later the manager came by and my husband and I explained that we had been waiting for over an hour and had not received our food. The manager stated it would be out shortly. About 20 min later our food arrived. Our waiter started to put our food on the table then said he would go back to get the beans. As the waiter started back to get our beans, the manager was behind him and dropped the bowls of beans which slid underneath the table next to ours and onto the foot and shoe of the lady at the table. The manager never returned to our table to apologize for anything that contributed to the very poor service. The manager's representation was very poor to say the least...hopefully he was better to the lady that had beans all over her foot and shoes.

Food is always great. Fajitas and Enchiladas never disappoint. If you are a fan of spicy, ask for the hot salsa from the kitchen. Service was good. Our waitress had a lot of tables but managed to keep everyone's cups full. I rated the atmosphere a 3 because it wasn't as clean as it normally is although our table was clean, the floor wasn't as clean.

This is THE premiere Mexican food MUST HAVE MUST TRY go-to chain. We had some food catered at work and the quality is so far above anything else out there. They warned me that it was going to be good and I didn't believe them. When we came into the restaurant our service was outstanding. The chips are incredible, salsa is legendary, tortillas are outstanding, and the ground beef has layers of flavor. Don't be like me and miss out for years.

Uncle Julios has a lot of potential but there is definitely opportunity for improvement. The service was poor at best! Our waitress seemed completely distracted and uninterested in ensuring our party of 8 had a great experience- not to mention her attitude needed some coaching. She never excused herself or gave warning when reach for things from the table, and she didn't remove clutter until we insisted. Service was delayed and to add insult to injury the food failed in quality. We were all served hard rice, my steak bowl was extremely underseasoned 🤢, and by the time new rice came out our entrées were cold. While management may an unsatisfactory attempt to resolve the issues I was left having to make Taco Bell stop for dinner. It sucks when your topic of conversation for a night out with the girls is 75% about the lacking of customer service. I'd honestly only return for delights at the bar. The drinks were great and so was the bartender 😏 (dude with the ponytail, those stars are for you! 😉)

I have been privileged to eat at 5 star restaurants, and today during my travels, came upon Uncle Julio's Mexican restaurant, wow!. We were treated to awesome service with Johnay, a pleasure to have met. We ordered the carne asada plate and I will have to say this dish, specially the carne asada, is above the standards of a 5 star restaurant; absolutely delicious. I was humbled by meeting Chef Ryan and was able to say thank you personally. Wo derful gentleman, and he has that passion for pro iding the best to his customers. What a great place to dine and enjoy a great meal. Thank you so much for such a great personal experience.

Okay tex mex. The server offered refried beans and then came back with charro because the refried were not ready yet. Overall food and service was good but it didn't meet my expectations on the rice and beans which make up the entire tex mex experience. The chips & salsa were not very good. The red salsa was not good at all. The green salsa was very good. Enchiladas were perfect.

Really good place to eat. The steak and chicken fajitas was amazing. The grilled meat was cooked to perfection. Top notch service and the salsa was awesome.
