This was so much fun! It was pretty crowded when I visited (I think a field trip was happening), but the place is well-laid out which helped really well with the flow of traffic. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. It's also super clean - all the exhibits were easy to see into and there were information screens that let you learn about each species within the exhibits more specifically. Loved all of the interactive options throughout the exhibits too. Spent about an hour here.

Sea Life is a nice, little, mostly self-guided aquarium. My boyfriend and I spent about 40 minutes here, but we arrived about 90 minutes before closing. At that time, the exhibits that included talks or demonstrations with the aquarium staff were already done for the day. Those exhibits were still open to view, and there were some employees around that offered some tidbits of information, which was nice. Each tank or area has little screens displaying what you could see in the tank and little bit of info about each creature, as well as various “fin facts” displayed on the walls. Sea Life also has a 360° tunnel where you’ll find yourself surrounded by various species of shark, fish, stingrays, and other creatures. We enjoyed our visit and would recommend this aquarium to anyone looking for a fun place to visit that you can spend as little or as much time as you want.

Very well organized place. The staff was super friendly. My kiddos really enjoyed themselves. The displays are really awesome to look at. And the fish tunnel is amazing. Very awesome for a mall aquarium. Also the gift shop is not that expensive.

Kids loved it! It's nicer than I expected for an aquarium in a mall. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. It's also super clean. All of the exhibits are clean and visible, and there are information screens that let you learn about each species within the exhibits more specifically. We would definitely come back. Gift shop has a great selection on souvenirs as well.

Was a bit in shock that this level of aquarium is basically hidden inside grapevine Mills Mall. Having been to the Dallas world aquarium multiple times, I can definitely say if you're in the grapevine Mills area, there's no reason to drive to Dallas. Sea life was huge with walk-through aquariums shark tanks, virtual reality rides – – pretty much anything else that One would expect at an aquarium. One of the highlights was probably the virtual rides, as well as the anemone petting pool where one can actually feel live anemones! We also really like the manta ray tanks and the jellyfish tank which was absolutely mesmerizing with hundreds of jellyfish floating around. This place is way larger than you'll expect and very cool!

Neat place for adults and children alike, the aquarium has interactive menus of wildlife facts for each room, unique experiences like touch pools, and the walk-thru tunnels are stunning. A good amount of stairs so if you bring small children or strollers be aware of that. We spent about an hour here and enjoyed the sights at a good pace.

Fun place to take the whole family. A lot bigger than I thought it was from the outside. But I still think it's not worth the $26 per person. But if you're trying to do a quick fun activity with the kids and don't want to drive to Dallas it's totally worth it.

My brother and I visited for a holiday treat, and the experience was memorable. Staff were happy to answer questions about the many creatures, and we appreciated the care in educating visitors with pictures and "fin facts." Seeing the sea life so closely in the underground tunnel was the highlight of our visit. Afterward, my brother found a plush stingray and asked me to buy it for him. A wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

We love visiting SEA LIFE aquariums. They're always interesting and educational especially for our little ones. And this aquarium in Grapevine was no different. This was our youngest one's first visit to SEA LIFE Aquarium and he truly enjoyed it! We all had fun but our youngest one had the most blast out of all of us. It's a great place to spend some fun time with family and friends. We've been to SEA LIFE aquariums in Orlando and Grapevine and thus far both of them were great. They have wide veriaty of sea creatures. Interior is well organized. Inside is super clean. Staff is very friendly. They even offer military/veteran discount on admission fees. Overall, absolutely great place to visit.

The place was really fun and clean. The staff were very friendly and the exhibits were interactive. We went on a day a school field trip was going on so they let us leave and explore the mall and come back and enjoy the aquarium twice. Definitely a highlight of our trip!

I love this place. I had an annual pass back when they were newly opened. I hadn't been back since then, when my daughter was a baby. After returning this past week, I can say this is my favorite aquarium in the area. (Dallas World Aquarium let us down last month) It is much larger than you would expect with it being in a mall. There is a large array of sea life fromdifferentareas of the world. It is set up really well for with room to move around and not feel cramped. The different exhibits are lovely; including a 360° tunnel with sharks, stingray, and other fish swimming above and below you. Absolutely beautiful to sit and watch. It was $40 for myself and my daughter, with purchasing tickets directly from their website. It is more expensive if purchased at the door. The gift shop isn't too great. And their touch pool was quite small. But overall a wonderful experience, that I highly recommend.

Awesome experience. The whole family loved this place. My 2.5 y/o got hands on experience with sea creatures. We got pictures with a mermaid 🧜‍♀️. This is a great place to take your child.

No line to get in, that was nice. They do not take cash at the ticket desk. Credit/Debit only. You can purchase tickets on line ahead of time too. It was $70 for one 8yr old and 2 adults on a Saturday. Each exhibit room provide large print information on the sealife in the tanks on the walls and a few displays. There are stations where you can interact with learn as you go type boards. Make sure to get the scheduling for the day (online to print) for educational talks or feeding demonstrations. I do feel that day let too many people in at a time. Some people would be very pushy and impatient. Or so loud you couldn't hear what the handlers were saying on one of the talks.

Great place, interactive aquarium, can touch starfish and sea urchins, very informative, friendly staff (Ciara and all others). It might look small from outside but don’t get fooled by it. The space was well utilized to exhibit various species. We got to see sharks, manta ray, sting ray, star fish, sea urchins, jelly fish, crocodiles, thousands of species of fish, turtles, snake, 360 tunnel views and so on. It’s very interactive and informative. The staff were quite friendly and answered all the questions we had. We easily spent about two hours or over. Great experience, must visit!

We drove an hour to get here. The manager with short grey hair and the equality mask (I forgot to read her name tag) was very kind and so were the other staff members everyone was very patient. I was overwhelmed today by the generosity of the staff. This is a very beautiful aquarium and perfect for little ones. My favorite were the jellies and my kids loved every bit of their adventure today especially touching the sea stars ✨ Thank you for the amazing time y’all have no idea how much a blessing this place was for us today. There’s been so so much going on and today was a reminder that there’s good things that happen too 💕 Thank you!!

Title: A Captivating Underwater Adventure at SEA LIFE Grapevine Aquarium! I recently had the pleasure of visiting SEA LIFE Grapevine Aquarium, and it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I stepped inside, I was transported into a mesmerizing underwater world filled with incredible marine life. 🐠 Diverse Exhibits: The aquarium boasts a diverse range of exhibits, each carefully curated to showcase the beauty and uniqueness of underwater ecosystems. From the vibrant coral reefs to the mysterious depths of the ocean, every section was a visual treat. 🦑 Interactive Touch Pools: One of the highlights was the interactive touch pools where visitors can get up close and personal with sea creatures. It was a fantastic hands-on experience for both children and adults, providing a deeper understanding and appreciation for marine life. 🌊 360-Degree Ocean Tunnel: The 360-degree ocean tunnel was a jaw-dropping experience. Walking through while sharks and rays glided gracefully overhead was like being immersed in a nature documentary. The tunnel truly brought the ocean to life! 🐢 Conservation Efforts: I was impressed by SEA LIFE's commitment to marine conservation. The exhibits not only showcase the beauty of the underwater world but also raise awareness about the importance of preserving these ecosystems. It's educational and inspiring. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family-Friendly Atmosphere: The aquarium is perfect for families. The layout is stroller-friendly, and there are plenty of informative yet kid-friendly displays. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, ready to answer questions and engage with visitors. 🍴 Cafe and Gift Shop: After exploring the underwater wonders, I enjoyed a snack at the cafe with a view of the aquarium. The gift shop offered a variety of marine-themed souvenirs, making it easy to take a piece of the experience home. Overall, SEA LIFE Grapevine Aquarium is a must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable and educational adventure. It's not just an aquarium; it's a journey into the mysteries and marvels of the ocean. I can't wait to visit again! Note: Ratings and experiences may vary, and it's always a good idea to check the official website for the latest information and any special events.

Affordable and decent for a mall sea life attraction. We enjoyed the VR experience (extra charge). Great for smaller kids--teens will be bored. When we went we just missed the field trip crowd--whew!! Was able to take our time and walk and enjoy the tanks in peace. The staff was friendly and seemed well informed regarding the various types of fish.

My 2 year old and 13/14 year old niece/nephew loved it as well. Had a lot to see and an interactive sea turtle activity for them. A big 360 shark tunnel and a smaller piranha tunnel. There was a small corral and starfish tank for kids to touch them. Good for the price. A nice gift shop was also available to purchase items at the end.

This is an amazing aquarium! Don't let the fact that it's in a mall deter you. I really love walking through the sharp tunnel. There's so many different cool things to see in interactive experiences. They even have a small play place for younger children. They offer family photos. And have a gift shop. It is always very clean and the customer service is amazing. I definitely recommend coming here

This place is wild there's so many different species of fish and sea life. Everywhere you turn there's always something new to learn and see. The adventure map that you can do with your family is definitely interactive and fun and the kids receive a medal towards the end. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We spent several hours here and I still believe that we didn't see everything

It only took an hour to get through so plan accordingly. We were able to see everything. Everything was laid out nicely and very atmospheric. The VR experience was just ok and took about 10 min for $10. Not too bad.

We have not been out due to pandemic and our little girl is getting older now, so I took the day off and my wife and I took our daughter and her great grandpa up this Aquarium today. I didn't expect much, but i was really impressed with everything. What made it even better is how much my previous baby girl LOVED it. She loved seeing the fish go around the tanks going WOW and point at them all the time. She had a blast looking at the Stingrays, Yellow fish, sharks, and much more. I was impressed by the variety of sea life that this place. It took us over an hour and a half to check everything out and we ere going at a brisk pace keeping up with her running around. I had no idea the amount of stuff they would have. I have been to the Dallas Aquarium but this was my first visit here. I also liked how they have kids under three are free (no discounts for Seniors). It is wheelchair and stroller accessible. It is also very kid friendly with special caves for them to go into see the fish better and even looking at things under and come above to see everything. There was even a touching station where you could feel a starfish and a sea urchin, which was cool to do. Overall this is a great way to keep your kiddos occupied for a while. There are a few things like VR simulations and other things that will keep older ones interested for longer. The staff is super nice and friendly as well. We made it in time to see a feeding which was awesome! Can’t wait to see my girls expression next time we go!

A fun experience. Very nice exhibits, good variety. I saw shark eggs for the first time. Kid - friendly. I climbed into an observation dome made for children to check it out and liked it. I liked the platform over one tank, made so you can look down into it. One exhibit had so many varieties of fish, it was impressive. I enjoyed the little tidal pool display where you can pet the sea stars and sea anemones. I took one star off only because I thought it was a little expensive.

Offered more than I expected at a good price for this type of exhibit. Great deal of interesting information. Would have given a 5, but a few of the exhibits were quite difficult to read due to very low light on the text. Perhaps younger people would have no issue. Was really cool having areas where various types of fish swam overhead.

It's alright, cost a little too much for what you get out of it. I do understand employees need to get paid and animals need to be fed. Considering it's location they get plenty of visitors so they could lower the pricing.

Amazingly clean and well-kept facility for sea life! We were so impressed. Everything from the tanks, exhibits, floors, hand rails, and elevators were perfectly neat and clean. It's not a huge aquarium but it will keep you busy for at least an hour and a half. I also love that there are interactive areas for the kids to learn more about different species. Highly recommend.

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon, around 1pm. It wasn’t busy at all which was nice. Exhibits were beautiful. Took my teenage daughter & “adult” child, they both enjoyed the experience. My biggest feedback would be for the young lady at the end who printed our pictures. Wish I would have caught her name. Definitely an opportunity for better customer service skills. To be fair she was young but a little patience and explanation goes along way. Especially when there aren’t people waiting. Overall it was a pretty cool experience.

So many fun fish to see. We got to see one massive Sea Turtle. So much information for us to take in. Would definitely do Sea Life again. We bought package tickets of Sea Life, Lego Land and Peppa’s World.

The place is small but just awesome, multiples interactive activities for kids and we got the package to enjoy other places such as Legoland and pepa pig’s world and my son had a blast 💥 so much fun and nice areas for pictures to keep as memories ✨

The sea turtle gave me a kiss! Oh yeah, and I touched several star fish!! It's a small aquarium and a lot of their hands on features are closed or blocked off due to STUPID Covid, but the staff was still excellent and we loved the marine life we got to see.. between my 4mo daughter and myself, I couldn't tell you who had a better time..!

  • 5/5 Rosil S. 3 years ago on Google
My baby is 6 months old and this is the only and first time we leave the house to a place other than his doctor's office. I was very skeptical at first but after reading about their covid policy I felt much better. I felt safe and I must give credit to all the employees and the visitors who kept distance and wore masks. Everything was touchfree. Having said all that, the place is absolutely mesmerizing. A variety of sea animals and education posters. It took us about a hour and will surely go back again.

  • 4/5 Rochelle A. 3 years ago on Google
Open during the pandemic! My only issues were there weren't enough staff on the inside to help remind family's of social distancing. Also people with lavender allergies bring hand sanitizer or your own hand soap from home. They only have Lavender vanilla soap right now. I was disappointed I didn't get to touch the starfish. Other then that we greatly enjoyed our first visit to the aquarium!!

  • 4/5 Desiree J. 8 months ago on Google
We’ve visited Sealife twice now and the facility itself is clean, beautiful, and mostly equipped with friendly attentive staff! I will say we visited during a weekday and during the weekend and two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT experiences for sure. Weekday visit- we practically got the entire place to ourselves and that experience was a total 5/5 no complaints whatsoever.. I’d say it took us about 1.5hr to complete everything. Weekend visit- our recent visit and i’d rate it about a 3/5. Extremely crowded, rude customers who don’t say excuse me and standing in front & hogging attractions, less present staff, the “touching” station line was SO long, it was extremely hot like the AC wasn’t working, and i felt like we got through with everything in like 45 minutes. Nonetheless, still a great place but I’ll definitely go on weekdays from now on. Pricing is $19 per adult and $19 if you’d like to purchase the photo they take at the beginning of the tour.

Sealife is an excellent aquarium. They have friendly, knowledgeable staff and excellent displays. The interactive components are fun. We liked taking the brochure around to the different stations and using the embossers to "stamp" them as we did each exercise. The touch tank is always fun. They have bio-luminescent fish! Like swimming fireflies. It's worth a trip. One thing that would make it nicer is if they included more seating areas to simply enjoy watching the fish.

  • 4/5 Kristin B. 6 months ago on Google
This is a great aquarium for smaller kids to enjoy and walk through. It’s not as big as a typical downtown aquarium usually is but for being attached to a mall it’s worth it. The guides are very knowledgeable as well and the feeding shows are neat. Plus they help rehabilitate turtles!

Really like the various types of fish here. Most of them seemed to be in good health and the tanks they were kept in were very clean. A great sign that the staff are doing their job well which in this day in time is great. And if they keep the fish and enclosures in that good of shape I would have to say that they have done the same for the two legged critters that visit also.

My whole family really enjoyed this place! It's definitely not the size of the Dallas Aquarium. Only takes a maximum of an hour & a half to walk through so it's not an all day thing. But, what they have is really neat & it is a top notch, very well taken care of facility. Their customer service is also TOP NOTCH. Every single person we came in contact with could not have been more friendly & helpful. I initially just purchased tickets for the Aquarium & not Legoland or Pegga Pig. By the way, just buy the package with all three, it's totally worth it. I was really upset that I did that because we decided since the Aquarium didn't take near as long as we thought, so I went & asked the girl at the register what I could do. She took care of it for me & made it much cheaper, another $60-$70 cheaper. I appreciated that SO MUCH. I wrote down her name & as soon as I find it I will come back & add it! Because she truly saved the day. This Aquarium is definitely worth coming to. The 360 tunnel is amazing. If you're looking to make a day of it, there's plenty of shopping at Grapevine Mills Mall (which is where this Aquarium is located) or like I said, buy the package with all three. And shop 😜 I will come back & add a bunch of amazing pictures that we took!

My kids loved it. Especially the part where they could walk on the glass and the fish under their feet. I enjoyed all of it because I'm a nature person. I think my son and youngest daughter loved it the most. They chose this place over six flags.

This place is an aquatic gem. Not the best customer service, and not really an alternative to a full on aquarium, but a very enjoyable little place. Pro tip: 1. Buy the multi-pass for Legoland and Peppa's World. You save a bit of money since this is a small place, you might be in and out in 20-30 minutes.Heads up, if you do buy the multipass you have to use the other tickets at the other places within 13days. 2. Eat elsewhere. No food here, which is fine because this and the places around it are quick visit attractions in my opinion.

Most amazing experience for my 1.5 year old. Even my husband was amazed. Lots of things to see and explore. Size is smaller than other aquariums, but way better than Dallas Aquarium. We went at 10am right when they opened and we practically had the whole place to ourselves! Best time ever.

The aquarium was nice for the most part but if you’re trying to avoid covid 19 it is a terrible place to be. They let people in without masks and it was to many people to social distance. Not enough hand sanitizer stations. Other than that the aquarium was fine. Might return after the pandemic.

The Mermaid experience was magical! We visited on a Friday morning and were amazed by the quality of the costumes, and how each mermaid actress stayed in character and made my mermaid-obsessed granddaughter feel so very special. She was able to interact with two in the tanks and two outside of the tanks. Her adorable reaction was, "Somehow they knew me and were my friends!" It is important to also mention how fantastic the other Sea Life Aquarium staff members were. We were lost trying to backtrack and find more mermaids. Every single staff member we asked for help (and one sweet mother with her baby) stopped what they were doing to lead us through the maze of rooms. One final note: Be sure to hold onto the little black and white ticket that you will be given upon entry. You need to present it at the mermaid photo station and can use it to scan and print all of the pictures at home for free, including the entry snaps with several fun virtual backgrounds.

The facility was clean the staff were very friendly and anxious to share information. Most of all the aquatic creatures were beautiful. We especially enjoyed the pool with the stingrays. We spend 30 minutes watching them. And don't accept the the kids cave is just for kids. Squat down and crawl in there. They have 2 clear domes you can lean in to and see everything like you are swimming with the fish. We also really enjoyed the tunnel. There are many interesting kinds of very active sea life that swim above, beside and under you. After that watch for the flashlight fish. Take time to let your eyes adjust so you can see their glow. There is a clear focus on conservation education. It was an enjoyable time for the my wife and me. Next time we'll bring the kids.

We LOVE this place! I truly can’t say enough good things. It’s perfect for toddlers and new walkers and truly any age kiddo— there is a district pathway that you follow throughout so it would be very hard to get lost. It can fit a double stroller, although, when it’s crowded, that can be tricky. The aquarium has so many tiny activities along the way so that there’s always a good distraction and things to see! It is always very clean, the bathrooms are kid friendly and pretty spotless. The staff is always so kind and usually have things to pass out to inquiring kids! We bought a membership because it’s truly such a special place. They also always decorate for holidays which is so fun.

👍 It's a pretty cool place to visit. There are lots of things to look at, and you can easily lose track of time in there. This can get very pricey very quickly for a lot of people. A group of 4 adults can average $200+, which was a huge turn-off for our group to return in the future. Yes, they have p...
