What a romantic spot for an elopement! The grass is well maintained and it is never crowded. DFWeds.com did a great job with the set up!

A park is also quite large and airy. There's nothing very interesting here either, apart from the tall trees and the park right next to the golf course is quite large. And across the street is a rather large lake. In short, there are also many trees and lakes around, so the weather is quite good for this place. It’s worth a visit to the park like this place.

Back in 2003 my dad committed suicide here and it was so hard for me to even drive past this place without having anxiety attack or whatever you would like to call it but now I'm okay with it and I'm able to go and sit at one of the picnic tables and enjoy the peaceful serene atmosphere like I was able to before he was gone we used to always go here and his friends would practice their softball games and we did Easter egg hunts and grilled out 🤟🏼💔❤️🙏🏼🙌🏼

I nice little hidden gem in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. Really unique hiking trails with some cool bmx ramps in the mix. Lots of wildlife to be seen. Plenty of spring time flowers throughout the trails as well.

I learned the hard way not to enter the portion of the park off of Lakeside Drive. I always wondered why it seemed so dead when I drove by. It's nothing more than a shaded area with about a dozen picnic tables and covered in trash. It's a shame this area isn't maintained. I knew there had to be another area because of the ratings and discovered another entrance off Winscott Road at the Art Cowsen Trailhead. This portion connects with the Trinity Trails. It's heavily shaded (huge plus!), clean, and bike, dog and running/walking friendly. There are side trails too if you don't want to stay on the standard cement area. Will definitely be coming back.

Love this course. The staff there are great as well, and as far as public courses, mid- June or later go in Texas, the course is in better shape than most.

The birding and walking and cycling are all excellent there. Cemented walking/ cycling path, nice and wide. Huge trees so even on a hot day it's still shaded. Picnic tables and grills , benches for a rest. Portapottie restrooms. You won't be disappointed. Oh.. good parking also.

Nice looking park, but some photos are of the golf course so my quest to go skating was instantly denied. Not good for rollerskating.

I played The Hills course. It has changed in the 25+ years since I played it last. It's not bad, I still like the River course better.

This trail gives multiple options of biking, walking, running and even has some trails to explore when you get off of the concrete. But beware of the bikers as it feels like they own the place. Need more restrooms and water faucets along the trail. Trash cans are sparse as well. But beautiful vegetation and it has quite a bit of shade as well.

Very well kept golf course. Both the Hills and River courses are clean and maintained. Greens are in top shape. For seniors, the $13 on Hills and $16 on River are hard to beat.

A little hidden park. No activities for the kids to do other than walking. I did enjoy the stroll with my dog. Golf course is next door. Little hidden away park with beautiful tree foliage

It was okay but when the creepers come and park behind you and stay there for hours its very off putting, plus I had one come up to my window and sat there and touched himself!!! Took everything in me to stay in the car and not catch another charge.... SMH

There's always strange men that drive by really slowly, if I'm there for an hour, I can usually (4 out of 5 times) count the same 3 or 4 vehicles that pull through 4 times in an hour. Some of them wave like normal people, but the others are super creepy and will even park and watch me. In the porta potty theres a bunch of very vulgar notes left behind by gender dysphoric ppl looking to hook up with guys. It's not a place I suggest going by yourself unless you have a big scary dog with you and your phone is charged. They don't seem to bother groups of 3 or more though.

Golf at P.V. Played The Hills course. Loved it. A lot of memories. 36 holes. You can play the River course. Staff is the best.

I really like the location of this park, but I feel the parking spaces are not adequate. There just needs to be more spots

Course is very well manicured and staff is very kind. The carts run well and the course is great. Would come again!

River course was in good shape for this time of year. Greens were smooth, but super fast

Not many places to access the river and the ones Ive found have been heavily fished. Beautiful place though, would be great for a light walk with the dog.

The course is challenging, yet rewarding. You are penalized for bad shots, so not for duffers. The course plays like other courses that are 3x the cost. Better be able to putt, because the greens were immaculate when we played Oct '22. Grill has good food, but limited menu. A GREAT deal.

Honestly, the park itself has no amenities apart from a few picnic tables. There are no trails or anything. I guess you need to go into the gulf course side for that. Was a big disappointment for a dog walker.

Stopped to eat my brunch here. Nothing of much interest. It was nice, shady and peaceful which is exactly what I was looking for. There were a couple of people walking in the area. It was mostly empty though.
