Well kept for a virtually empty mall. I'm sure this mall must have been failing long before covid. Nice play area, cool sculptures, and plenty of walking room. Unfortunate that there are no stores open. Only two places to eat in the food court. Even the stores that were populated weren't open at 11am when the mall technically opened. It would be nice to see this mall revitalized as it is a really nice facility.

Malls are having a tough time, but Ridgmar Mall is doing all it can to meet community needs. We visited during Spring Break and it was very busy! The attached movie theater has wide, comfy seats that recline so you can prop your feet up. We sat in the middle section and it was the perfect eye level. The Seaquest Aquarium line was out the front door. We rode the motorized animals where you can slowly travel up and down the mall. Waved at the mini train along the way. The kiddo wanted to go longer, but there were other kids waiting to ride! If you like indoor golf, the neon-lit putt-putt course could be fun. There's a free playground for little ones and a pay to play fancier one. My favorite areas were the two "photo op" walls where you can stand and show off your angel wings! Lunch was affordable in the kinda small food court. I enjoyed handmade tamales.

I love this mall! It's such a cool place to explore! I hope it gets more business for all the shops but I must admit I love having the place to myself. If you ever feel thirsty you don't have to look far, this mall is like Tokyo! A vending machine every few feet!

As others have mentioned in recent reviews, this place has devolved into a Zombie Mall with minimal foot traffic and numerous empty storefronts. I would estimate that about eight out of every ten of the stores were vacant during my most recent visit. My rating of four stars is driven by the relatively good condition of the property.

The mall itself is ok but they don’t have many stores to choose from here. The food court was extremely small and there weren’t many people here for it to be a mall in the middle of the day. It was ok but a lot of the stores closed down or are closing down. I probably wouldn’t come here again but it was an experience.

Mall seems dead. Many of the stores fronts are empty. Low quality stores exist that are targeted for kids. The only reason to visit this area is the Dillard's Clearance store. Even then, you can only enter Dillard's from the parking lot.

This place looks like it's going out of business. On one side, you have the movies and the other side business, but they are closing down. We went to SeaQuest, and it was nice, but they need to clean up those tanks. It's not really a food court. A couple of shops seem to be busy. Just no where your going when you go.

Sea Quest is inside the Mall and it is a great fun thing to do with the kids. While Most of the stores are closed down the Mall is nice and clean, very well kept. There is still some great stores and little businesses in this Mall trying to keep it alive. They can't do it if we don't show up. So let's show up!

Looks like the apocalypse has already begun. Nearly every store has shut the doors for good. It's sad because it used to be a nice mall and somewhere I would drive two hours to visit.

This use to be a busy place to go to during the weekends and holiday seasons but now it’s a ghost town. Yes there’s still a couple stores left and the movie theater that is somehow miraculously keeping the whole building going but I miss how this mall was when I was growing up. All the stores it use to have and the food court it had a better/safer feeling to the place than how it does now. Either bring the mall back up and running like it once did or finally level the place down or recycle the building for a different business because it won’t be too long before the mall will shut its doors forever and yes that will be a sad day but there’s other malls and stores to go to than watching the employees and almost always empty space go to waste of their potential.

Like every other recent review. This place is a ghost town. I have no idea how it’s even open. The movie theater is great. But stay out of the mall. Nothing but hooligans looking to cause trouble. So sad to see such a once bustling mall turn into this! And while Covid didn’t help. It was already failing a year prior. Hope someone can come in and get the life back in the place soon. Because, sadly I don’t think it has much time left.

What a sad sad place. Huge waste of space. Not enough stores. The food court is a sad place, three vendors who are sure to loose all their money, why even open. Look at the candy machines, the candy has been there so long there is mold inside. Tear it down and let the trees and grass take over.

It's a ghost town. I have fond memories walking around that mall as a child in the 80's and we like taking my daughter to go play. I did like the shoe store there but even that appears to be getting rid of their inventory.

Very empty and only two options at the food court. The best part of the mall being so empty was the extra room to ride on the ride on toys. So much fun.

This is a family friendly place and the staff was amazing to my husband and grandchildren. The staff were so gentle and kind and answered all the children's questions. Tatum and the cashier, I'm sorry I didn't get her name, has a unique ability to make you feel like a friend. We loved seeing the animals and feeding the fish. The experiences you offer are rare to find. Will definitely recommend and be back

The sea quest inside the mall is very nice and interactive. You can spend a good 1.5 hours here looking at the animals and petting them. The mall itself is very empty. About 90% of the stores are vacant. Jcpenney is the only major department store here. There was only 2 places to eat in the food court. The mall is very empty and quiet. It does feel like a ghost town.

Vibrant. Literally the center of the Fort Worth Scene. Not really. It's a relic to the past before the west side of Fort Worth turned into a ghetto. It's life blood was stolen.

Has sea quest for kids inside, play zone, fewer outlets, Shoe dept Encore usually with sale on shoes, footwear, not much to do but one time visit is doable.

Ridgmar is a dead mall! Two food court options. Dillard's clearance is holding on though. Found a couple deals.

Most comfortable Mall I've been to in a long time. Not a lot of stores but for someone who hates huge crowds this place was down right pleasant. Good looking space too, usually empty malls are a little trashy but this place is immaculate.

The movie theater is great. It's by far my favorite in the region. The seats are rooomy, comfortable, and recline to basically any position you prefer with buttons on the armrest. The walkway between rows of seats are very wide and the rows are tiered, so it doesn't matter how tall the person in front of you is or how far they recline. The upkeep/cleanliness is as good as or better than most other theaters, and the staff are friendly and never cause distractions during movies. There are also plenty of screens, so they generally show all the new releases, and best of all, the admission price is pretty cheap, and food/drinks aren't as outrageous as most theaters. As for the rest of the mall, it is pretty much a zombie, just a shell of its former self. There's not much left that you won't find in any random strip mall or shopping center across the country. It is kind of morbidly interesting to walk around and see firsthand how quickly and thoroughly society outgrew and forgot about this place that was a major cultural hub from the '80s until the early 2000s. That experience is probably limited to people over 35 though... To younger folks, it probably isn't any more interesting than an empty airport terminal. Hopefully, the theater can somehow continue to be successful without the rest of the mall because I can't imagine a scenario where malls make a comeback, and it'd be a shame if the theater went under with the rest of the mall.

We all enjoyed feeding the fish ...cute place , just a little small for an aquarium inside seaquest . A little pricey for what you get to do .

Walked Into this mall and it was like a ghost town town the only thing I feel like that is keeping this mall open is all the attractions and things for little kids to do which I was pleased with. Now a days it seems like all of the malls are like this ghost towns

Like most people that go here, we mostly go for the movie theater. It’s sad that most of the stores have closed. This is probably my favorite mall in Fort Worth (aesthetically speaking), a little bit of TLC, and some stores in it, it’s a win. There is plenty of traffic on this side of town for a mall, but right now they just have nothing to attract those people with

There were hardly any stores in the mall and only one food place in the food court. All of the stores could have been located on the first floor in one area of the mall. I understand that covid has a lot of businesses closed but that was very sad to see being that this mall used to be booming!!

It's is like the end of the world. Hardly any stores. You can pet marine life or a grown up can ride a 4 wheel zebra. It's so funny. Discount Dillards is there.

Sadly as times shift so do malls and this is the perfect example. It used to be good but over time less and less people are showing up and shops are pulling out making it almost a graveyard of empty stores. But with what they have left it's really good. The movie theater is the best part about Ridgmar.

Went to the movie Theater here and we played some games in the little arcade area. it was telling us that the price was $1.40 for 20 tokens. We got that about five times and after I left around 4 AM they charged my card five times for five dollars. bro I got scammed I just want my money back.

Went to the movie theater to see Sound of Freedom. Everything was perfect tbh. Sears were comfy and reclined, popcorn was the best, and everything looked nice all around. The only bad thing I'd say is the movie theater prices. A lot of people sneak in their snacks to not have to spend so much.

I grew up with this mall, I also saw the malls decline over 40 years. It's nice architecture but thr mall need some renovation and foundation patching. They spent a lot of money on some attractions that they think would bring in population. Sadly it is on life support. You know a mall is in bad shape when a panda shut down... just saying. Every 5th door has a business at it. The rest are all empty spaces. It has a few locations for kids, a a museum, an aquarium, but thats about it.

Had some business to take care of so I stopped in this area to kill a little time. How sad this is a giant museum piece in the middle of the city barely any life barely any stores left it. This was the go to monumental Mall for so long. With wonderful memories to... now it's like walking into the belly of a dinosaur. So what I would like to say is for the owner of this dinosaur. Think about recruiting new businesses in there before you lose the entire dinosaur and it becomes a distribution center. Shop in your city people always shop in your city to keep your stores open it's good to visit others but when you shop outside your city... the convenient places you have in your area shut down. Support your local and immediate economy. This mall is it beautiful Mall which I hope I will see another visit...when the dinosaur has air in its veins and once again lives 🙏❤️🤗

Another dying mall... sort of creepy atmosphere with only a handful of stores and very few patrons. The fountains are poorly maintained and in dire need of cleaning. Overall, everything was fairly dirty and maintenance was sorely lacking. Sad situation for the few stores left. However, the limited number of shoppers makes for great mall walking.

As big as it was there was only one place open in the food court, and little pop up carts. Half the stores closed....thank goodness the theater was a huge surprised..LOVED IT, they even offered us a choice of seats

Ridgemar Mall! You look like my Christmas cookies. I cut out replicas of the America's from my cookie cake. Hey, Wilton Cake Decorators. I thought they tasted okay looked beautiful but need to be handled with care and properly maintained to preserve their structures. I had two left feet when walking in your mall. Which was pretty clean despite the perveyance of decay throughout the mall. Do any of the stores honor a competing stores coupon/s if so which one/s. I'd like to be able to ride one of those scooters around to each one and collect my all. JCPenny I really do want those gnomes (3). Vending company people I love my little Ninja and maybe back for more. I hope I won't have to call you for a refund. And I need a neutral spot to park a Mitsubishi Outlander Sport I bought across the way from Fort Worth Mitsubishi. What would be the best parking to use?

This mall isn’t as bad as you would think. It’s a ghost town during the week but music was fun to listen to and I screamed my heart out to the songs and no one cared. The employees were super nice but everyone was on their phone. Super fun to walk around and see how much the mall has changed. The Bungie Jumping was closed and is only open on Saturday from the very small amount of workers. Kids areas are closed during the week due to small amount of staff as well. Most of the stores are aimed towards children. But super fun to see how everything just got abandoned. The parking lot is a great spot to learn to drive.
