PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE!!! Read the reviews from the patients/families. All the positive reviews are from people touring the facility, not actual patients. Went to get information about the treatments they could offer my daughter for mental health issues. When arrived, I received a few forms to fill out. I assumed standard information. Waited to be call to the consultation. We were taken into a locked facility, where I was given a packet to fill out, my daughter was told to remove her hoodie, shoes and the lace out of her sweat pants. No explanation was given to me as to the procedure. When reading the packet, I realized she was being admitted to the facility. I was just there for information. After being there for 2 hours, no one ever spoke to me, I decided to leave and go to her PCP for more recommendations to other facilities. They had me sign a waiver of release (not sure why), I never agreed to their services. To top it off, they called CPS on me for child neglect. Not sure why… I have already been taking my daughter to her PCP for treatment and I was in the process of finding the right facility and treatment plan for her. Not sure how that is neglect!!!! I would never recommend this place. I contacted my school district and they will not be using this facility in the future. This is NOT a safe place for your child!

This facility only allows severe cases to do inpatient program, and that is the only one where they won’t charge you money upfront. They just told us that he needed outpatient and that it wouldn’t be until another five days. when we got there they told us that it was gonna be $630 and if we couldn’t make at least $300 of a payment that he couldn’t start. If we wanted to do the other program, he had to apparently be reassessed for another two hours. I made a bad review and corporate contacted me, but whenever I called to make sure that we could bring him in again, they stated that he could only do inpatient therapy if they deemed that he needed it. They have put us through the ringer and wasted our time. I’m not gonna bring him up there for another two hours just to find out oh he doesn’t qualify for inpatient program. So basically, if they don’t think it’s severe enough, you have to pay money upfront for the program.

This place is HORRIBLE!! They get you in and make up lies to keep you. Even when you sign the paper for the 24 hours release they won't release you. They try to force you to take the meds and when you don't want to they will mistreat you or take away your food. I've been trying to speak to anyone about releasing my son but they won't talk to you and lie to you. Won't let the patient speak to their patient advocate and the doctors will make up lies on your chart to keep you inside. I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU GO OR TAKE ANYONE IN THIS PLACE.

5 stars are for the great tech's, nurses, and therapist. I had a Negative 1,000,000 stars for doctor and hospital policies. Doctor almost made me lose my sanity in two ways. First he cut half my medicine which made me unstable. Second he had me try a medicine for a diagnosis I do not have. I came in broken and got worse while there. But the staff was very nice and accommodating. Them and the fellow patients helped me get better. So Doctor Abraham Do Better! Or don't practice Thanks for side effect hallucinations I had weeks post to your horrible care. For giving me medicine I didn't need or had the designated mental illness. Update 7/11/23 I am much better with no help from Dallas behavioral. I was depressed and got no help. Had to go to YouTube and MD Live. I recommend Green Oaks.

I wish I could give it 0 stars. This place gave me so much more trauma. The nurses made bets on how many shots they'd have to give before the end of the night. The room was below freezing, and they didn't do anything about it no matter how much I complained until I was about to leave. The people called me slurs, and were very rude. There was always yelling and screaming and the staff did nothing about it. The staff never wanted to listen to us either. Do not come here please.

I 1000% agree with stay away. My daughter voluntarily admitted herself and when she didn’t like the care she was receiving asked for an AMA form to be released. She was laughed at and threatened with court. She was told she would be there 5 days then outpatient and when she got there 5 days was added to her stay. When asking the doctor why he told her he was the boss. Food has been undercooked and she can’t eat. Given meds with no diagnosis. I am contacting an attorney to see what can be done. Wouldn’t leave my pet there for help. Her stay is making her worse. Starting to see that they just want the money her voluntary stay is bringing in.

Very strange place. The wait in front was three hours . I took my 12 year old son here for an evaluation and was treated like a prisoner. Our purses and cell phones were locked up once we were taken back to the waiting area but even after we were told that he did not meet inpatient criteria( which I didn't understand since he threat to kill himself and told counselor he tried to cut wrist ) and would not be staying, we were not allowed to leave for another two hour or so. A social worker had already given paperwork , but when we asked to be let out, a tech told us we couldn't go and needed to go back in the assessment room and shut the door. We finally had to get the next shift to track down that social worker before we could leave. Additionally, the assessment area smells really musty and is filthy, and delusional people was hitting on walls and roaming around with no interference from the techs or staff. I don't recommend this place simply from the intake experience alone.

I brought my 11 year old son here for an evaluation. I was surprised at how clean this facility was and how nice the staff was. Most behavioral places for children are sketchy, but I felt that I could leave my son here, and he would be taken care of. The intake nurse was very detailed oriented. We weren't rushed, and were offered snacks while we waited. My son did not qualify for inpatient treatment, but out of all the places in DFW, i would have been okay if he stayed.

My daughter has been calling us and saying they won’t release her. They said she is to anxious to leave. They called cops on me and my husband to leave because we wanted answers. They said since we are to persistent to have her released they will be trying to get a court order to make her stay. She keeps telling them she wants to leave but they keep intimidating her. Horrible horrible place.

This behavioral hospital is trash!!! They discharged my mom home and she was no better than what she was before she left. Still psychotic and angry!! How can you discharge a mentally ill patient without proper medical treatment. Nothing is done until the person with a mental health condition commits a horrendous crime and now everyone is concerned! What about us trying to get our loved ones help and cant. This is ridiculous. We need better mental healthcare!!

I'm over 1700 miles away and have family in this facility and have gotten nothing but DISTASTEFUL DISRESPECT & CONTINUOUS UNPROFESSIONALISM from the receptionist NANCY, the Cheif Nurse Officer MARLIESE CURLY- who jumped to conclusions, screamed at me due to his/her own IGNORANCE, the house supervisor ANTONY- who consistently laughed as I asked for his/her superior info and stated he/she do not report to anyone outside the hospital so he/she was not giving out any numbers, Unit 3 nurse ASAITIA who HUNG up in my face due to not wanting to answer any of my questions. I am calling to get information on my family member while out of state and have been trying to do so for hours due to the wrong information being provided to me per different staff and need transparency on what's actually occurring and the hospital's plan. If you love your family and friends PLEASE SEND THEM TO A FACILITY THAT HAS PROFESSIONAL, CARING STAFF WHO WILL NOT ONLY CARE FOR THE PATIENTS AS IF THEY ARE HUMANS WITH RIGHTS AND THEIR FAMILIES verses having to deal with an argumentative, disregarding and dismissive unprofessional. If anyone has some useful information please let me know. Just a heads up!!!

This place is a joke; they reply to bad reviews by giving a number to help make things better, but it's just a show.. Their video is all false. Review from Rikki Prater was responded by them saying they would make things better. But here I am, two 2months from her post and going through the exact same thing. I have joint custody and every right to medical information. They called me to get insurance information but said they couldn't give me information on my minor deaf daughter. I am beyond upset.

I was just released literally yesterday and this program has helped me reopen my eyes and give me more hope than I have ever had. Tech Ms. Toni deserves a raise on top of a raise! She is so full of life and goes out her way to make sure every woman feels welcomed and continues to push them forward in to being the great women we are and can be. She sees more in us than we see in ourselves at those low moments and helps us see it. The therapists there are also amazing esp Emily. I'll see yall soon when I put in applications in the near future 🤪I love yall sm 😌

Miss treat patients refuse to let you see patients house supervisor particularly named Charles attacks people verbally this facility does not have an on call doctor they do not have a on call advocate in any case of an emergency how do I know. I'm up here now it is 12/26/22 at 9:41 a.m. do not ever by chance volunteer any loved one there's a chance that they will come out with bruises.

I'd give negative stars if I could and I'm bouts to open a lawsuit for real. Staff screamed at me when I was in crisis and elevated, then some dip decided to threaten to lock me in seclusion with not even a mat on the floor to lay on, and smirked saying they wouldn't give me my medication the whole time, which I had been begging for since 8 am, and it was 11 am before they even gave me them. Now I got discharged after one day, and they didn't even put the meds I came in with back in my belongings, so they wasted my whole day to make the trip back out here just to get them, wouldn't even get me a lyft back. So if you like torture and wasting your money, go here

I would not recommend. They did not explain the process and they lied to me . They said they would be able to do outpatient therapy and once we went to the evaluation they tried to keep my son . Even though he had been to a previous hospital . I guess it’s a way to get you in and get money . I had originally gone to them for outpatient therapy and their mediocre evaluation suggested inpatient . I denied and got him outpatient therapy so they decided to call CPS. Even if he needed inpatient therapy I would go to these people who omitted and lied.

I do have to admit the staff was very friendly and helpful BUT the experience was horrible, and traumatizing this place is not for kids PLEASE avoid taking your children to ''Hospitals'' like these. Ask the social worker at your kids school for recommendations'' these places are not healthy at all. Please do your research before taking your children to any of these behavioral hospitals. They do make you take your shoes off if they have laces, no hoodies, no cellphones, no purses they lock all of your personal belongings in a locker that they only have access too, GO PREPARED and leave your belongings at home, make your family aware were you are going and let them know you will be there for hours. I felt like a criminal in there (I have never been in jail) no outside view, no clock, locked doors. I do understand it is for everyone's safety BUT I think they really need to have separate areas to treat certain patients. Might be an eye opener for some and traumatizing for others! ***Forgot to mention this is not a REAL hospital, do not expect any sort of medical attention/treatment, or a nurse checking on you periodically, this is not that type of hospital. We never saw ''a doctor''.

I brought my daughter there to get help with her depression. And turned out to be a very traumatic experience for her, and for myself. First we couldn’t we wasn’t able to talk to her. She was told she could only have one call a day. I’m Dr. Abrams when I picked her up he told her it looks like you’re going home today. Looks like your parents don’t wanna keep you safe what type of doctor says that. This place should be shut down. none of the people know any of the questions they always pass the ball to the next person they just pass it you never get your questions really answered or anything like that so I would not go to this place at all..

Very helpful information was provided in getting students the help they need. The offer to personally talk with parents to help remove the stigma of the behavioral health hospital was wonderful. I love that their personal experience and testimony was given to help people better understand how important mental health and behavioral health is.

Wish I could give 0 stars. This place kidnapped my son. They say it’s voluntary but you have to have the police come and threaten arrest for them to release your child. I was lied to about treatment, lied to about length of stay, and lied to about payment. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE. This place is nothing but a financial scheme. Your response to this was to message you with details, but gave no contact information

Ms. Leggs went above and beyond to help me! I requested a last minute tour of the facility and she came in on her day off to assist me. She was very kind and knowledgeable about the programs, the staff, and the facility. Ms. Leggs, the front desk staff, and even the janitor were so welcoming and the place had a relaxed atmosphere. Thank you so much!

My son is here now. I will change my review if they change their ways but I doubt that. ONLY Like three or four women there really make a difference. Nancy, Rhea The front desk girl who was working 9/7/23 at 10pm, and then ONE of the women who talked to us during intake but I can't remember her name, sorry.

My daughter was here for just about 2 weeks. Staff was informative and very helpful all the time, every time I went in the front desk was super nice and all staff. My daughter also said that the techs that work with the patients are really good, she had a good experience as well and it really did help. I feel like we are on a healthy road to recovery. Thank you guys for taking care of my baby.

This place is dirty ! Full of Africans who think they are running something they are very rude are clearly running some type of scheme and fraud because my phone was stolen and my money and information was also stolen by the Africans in this facility! I wasn’t diagnosed with anything and was told if I didn’t take medication they would inject me with something ! You don’t threaten anybody because they refuse to take medication! Patients have rights to refuse ! This food was clearly old I’m a vegan and was told that they only cook food with meat ! This is just a very low tier low quality place ran by a bunch of low quality people are trying to scam people ! I will get this place shut down ! You people never know who y’all have walking in y’all buildings ! Y’all just so happen to have a millionaire who came there and is sueing the place

Building of the hospital facility it's amazing really great and extremely excellent and the whole building looks really great 👍 and also today we went to ask just for visiting information and the staff was very friendly and everything looks very great inside the building but the facility building looks with just like the United kingdom in great Britain the bricks are very Brown as I knew because I know a lot of buildings they use bricks the same in the United states such as in Texas but anyway we just visit the facility just for visitation information and keep up the good work God bless you

After looking at the reviews I won’t use this place. Trust the people that have been and look at the horror stories their families have gone through. The only 5 stars are people that do just a tour, police officers(shown in photos), teachers that they do presentations to, or people with no previous reviews so probably made up by staff. Shame on the officers and teachers that put people, mostly kids, through the torture.

This mental hospital is the best one I've ever been to. I've usually found myself treatment-resistant, but the kind staff team over at Unit 2 really helped me even when it was hard for everyone. They made sure I was clear before i left the hospital. Thank yall so much. Hi Felicia. 💜💅💪🌈

I have never left a review in my life. I would leave a zero star review if possible. I beg and plead with you. Do not and I repeat DO NOT use the facility. My daughter is currently being held hostage here and has been held hostage for a week now. She was there voluntarily and now they are refusing to release her and denying her request of getting an AMA form. She has been denying this form for days now. Cops won’t do anything to help. In fact cops were called on me because I wouldn’t leave without my daughter. This is place clearly here to try and milk as much money out of you and your insurance company.

this place needs to be shut down. staff in the adolescent unit are verbally abusive. they tell patients they “should be ashamed of themselves for being there” and, on multiple occasions, refer to the unit as “jail.” meals were to be eaten silently and separately. therapy is minimal and only done in groups. the safety of the unit is questionable as well. just to cite one quick example, there were bottles of alcoholic hand sanitizer unattended at the nurses station. i managed to drink one during my stay. they did not notice, and discharged me that very afternoon. the staff are negligent in every aspect. this is not a place of healing. and it should absolutely not still be operating.
