The fact that this place has been in business since forever and I'm just now finding out about it is sickening. I can not believe I have been missing out. I was surprised that there was no crowd around 2pm on a Saturday but I am not complaining. The restaurant is super cute and the servers tended to my table right away. This was my first time ever being at a Greek restaurant so of course I needed help deciding what I wanted to get. The waiter was so helpful and his recommendations were right on point. I enjoyed EVERYTHING I ordered. If you're on the fence about visiting this place please just GO and thank me later.

The food, service, and ambience were all fantastic. The services provided by the professional management and staff are the main reasons that we keep coming back. The old world elegance is a rare thing, and we value their focus to make sure that everything about the dining experience is excellent. I highly recomend this restaurant.

This is by far my most favourite restaurant I have eaten at. It’s a classic, family-owned, humble yet beautiful Greek restaurant. I had the moussaka, and it was so delicious. The waiter was very kind and spoke in a formal manner; nothing I have seen in any other restaurant before. My entire family loved the food as well. I highly recommend to eat here, as you most likely will enjoy both the food and the environment as well.

Very authentic Greek food. The dolmas are the best I've ever had and filled with meat and rice. They also let us bring our own wine in for a $12 corking fee. I highly reccomend this quaint restaurant.

Trying something new and so glad we did! Jody was an excellent waiter. He was very courteous and helpful in explaining the different dishes to us and was very attentive. Cozy, small restaurant and the food was delicious! This is one of our new favorite spots - we'll definitely be going back!

Best Greek food I have ever had! Service was great, our waiter was very friendly and went above and beyond taking care of us. To top it off I love the atmosphere, it feels very comfortable and romantic. Great spot for anything from lunch, a casual dinner, to a date night.

OMG! The service is great! It's a bit small but they make it work! I had the char-boiled chicken with green beans and rice and it was so juicy and well seasoned. Love it! They have fried cheese which they set ablaze before serving, i wish i had a video to show. Our server, a great guy named Judy was on point. He had his own system for serving a large group and collecting payments. Opa!!!

Excellent place for Greek food. Got there near seven, it wasn't very crowded. Staff treated us so kindly. Prices were fair for the quality of the food. They have so many great reviews for a reason.

I visited this beautiful place last week. My family and I have been coming here for years. The atmoshere was great, the food was perect but our waiter was a very big dissapointment We are usually served by our favorite waiter Jimmy. My Mom and the whole family love him , he is always asking us if everything is ok checking on us joking with us and making us feel so at home. I guess he was not there becuse I didnt see him that evening. We walked in and the waiter with the long pony tail I think his name was Jodi just told us to sit anywhwre, there were four of us but we were nit directed were to go, so we sat ourselves. We waited very long for the menus, we got water and bread and againhad to wait for what seemed to long to plave our drink orders. Maybe he was just having a bad day but he didnt look very happy, was very short with us when asked several questions wheb we finally got our meals the plates were pretty much slammed on the table and away he went. He never returned until the meal was over. This is the first time in years, that we felt rushed and unattended. I hope we are never served by him again,We are very reasonable and understand sometimes restaurats are understaffed and very busy but this was on a Monday evening and quite slow! I hope Jimmy is still working thereand we will definately return. There seemed to be a new waitress there as well we have not seen before.

Food was phenomenal; very delicious! Service was abysmal. The server didn't tell me his name nor ask me what I'd like to drink. He never asked if there was anything I needed with my meal. I'll carryout; I don't care to dine in again.

Great food, my girlfriend and I enjoyed having Donna as a server. Definitely made us feel comfortable and taken care of. Very helpful to have her guide us through the menu and answer all our questions as first timers. We enjoyed the tasty appetizers and dinner. It was a nice low lit atmosphere that makes a great romantic date spot. Thank you!

The absolute gold standard for chicken souvlaki! I was very surprised by the hummus being as much of a liquid as it was but it pairs very well with the fluffy, toasty pita bread. A gem of a restaurant!

My friend and I went for 1st time. I needed help with wine selwction..let me try several without judgement. Great greek salad bread and hummus. Hodi was an excellent waiter and Kistas the owner gave us a special dessert for us to try. Just because it was our 1st time i think.

In town visiting family and decided to stop by Kostas Cafe after searching for some Greek food. I am originally from tarpon springs, so if it's good enough for me, you know it's going to be good, and the food is just as good as back home. I ordered the Kostas Favorite and everything was on point, the lamb and shrimp was full of flavor and the Greek salad tasted fresh and had a very very good dressing, my waiter was very friendly, formal and attentive, the prices were very reasonable aswell. 10/10 recommend.

Lovely little Greek restaurant on Greenville Ave. We enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and our server. You absolutely can't go wrong if you're looking for Greek Food. And definitely order the Saganaki! Opa!

Service was unfriendly. Salad was terrible, old lettuce and super salty dressing. Gyro meat was not cooked well. Not sure what was in the Tzatziki sauce but it was like artichoke dip. Atmosphere is outdated and sad. This place used to be good but it’s gone down recently I hate to write bad reviews but I hope it helps this restaurant change some things

Great Greek place. Unique dishes that don’t taste like the basic Mediterranean places. Feels very Greek, in a cool dark restaurant. Cannot recommend enough. The dolmas and moussaka were the stars.

Best Greek food in Dallas. I typically get a gyro sandwich or salad, but you have to try the blackened chicken! You won’t be disappointed. Would have rated it higher but it’s impossible to call in a order and have them actually have it ready when you get there.

This is a classic Don't Judge a Book by its Cover. Ugly outside, terrible parking lot. Inside it's nice. Food is delicious. Service is great.

  • 2/5 Annie B. 3 years ago on Google
Arrived there an hour before closing and they were extremely unfriendly and unwelcoming. We ended up ordering and taking our food to go. The food was ok and since I live over 30min away, it probably would have tasted a lot better had it still been fresh and warm, had we been able to dine in as we had planned. I will not be returning.

The service was absolutely phenomenal. I was hardly sat down before I was given bread and butter. They checked back with me with reasonable frequency and handled my entire visit with care. I ordered their Gyro Platter. The lamb was wonderfully tender and the bread tasted quite fresh. I honestly can't wait until I'm in Dallas again to be able to eat here!
