Pros: -Nurse Allie is sweet and empathetic! Cons: -Incorrect billing -Bad service I went in as I was referred by my PCP to this office for further treatment for a stress rash. I waited over 30 minutes after my appointment time during the first visit to only see PA Abigail Jordan for 10 minutes, to be told to switch allergy OTC medication, and be billed in full when I should have only paid 10% of the total bill. I call after 2 weeks of trying the new medication since it has only gotten worse and ask the staff if this is something I need to go in for or if the PA is just going to tell me to switch medication or continue taking it, because I wanted to avoid the 30 minute drive to this office that I had already had a bad experience with. Nonetheless, I go in to be seen by PA Abigail for just 5 minutes and be told to just keep taking Zyrtec after it has been established that this regimen hasn't been working over the past 9 weeks. Obviously, I was frustrated as I keep getting no remedy and Abigail had no empathy for me, which is concerning for someone who works in healthcare. Nurse Allie on the other hand was there to calm me down and assure me that everything would be okay. At the time of billing, I was being charged in full again and had to explain that the billing was incorrect and that a claim had already been filed since they had incorrectly billed me previously. To conclude, I definitely left with a negative experience from their establishment that seems to be all about "business" and not keeping their patients or clients satisfied due to their inadequate services. Nurse Allie, you are truly a gem and I hope your empathy towards patients is something that this office sees and cares to implement in all their interactions. If I could give this establishment a 0, I would. Instead, I give you a 1.

Decent and pleasant customer service, especially compared to their subcontractors. Received a pathology bill 3x the amount of the procedure and was the first I had heard that anything was sent to another business. A little heads up would be nice, and yeah the line in your financial policy saying you may be billed by pathology does not cut it. I would expect at minimum a heads up about the approximate amount it's going to cost and the name of the provider in advance. If nothing else, I should have heard about the existence of pathology results from my nurse/dermatologist first, rather than from the billing department of a company I have never heard of or interacted with.

My complaint here is that the nurse gave me incorrect information about my prescriptions and it could have cost me a lot of out-of-pocket money had I listened to her. The nurse told me the medications prescribed to me would not be covered by insurance and insisted I use DFW Wellness pharmacy as they would have the "best" prices for me without using my insurance. I explained that my insurance had covered one of the prescriptions previously as long as the medication was pre-authorized and that I wanted to use CVS pharmacy. The nurse said she could do the pre-authorization and even call my insurance and talk to them, but they have OTHER patients to take care of and it would just be denied. She said it would be best to use DFW Wellness and let them know I was not using insurance. She then proceeded to tell me there was a law passed last year that states insurance doesn't pay for the medication if over the age of 35. I left confused and felt disrespected. After some thought, I decided to call the office later that day to request my two prescriptions be called into CVS and was told again that they would not be covered and to use DFW Wellness. The person I was speaking to just happened to be the same nurse I spoke to during my visit. I felt pressured and agreed to have only one RX transferred to CVS and leave the other with DFW Wellness because I was told by the nurse that for sure at least one would not be covered by insurance because it was brand name. I told both pharmacies that I needed preauthorization. Both prescriptions ended up being covered by insurance!! I will ad that the physician assistant I saw was very kind and extremely helpful in her recommendation for treatment for my skin condition. What I experienced had nothing to do with the PA.

Kind, thorough and knowledgeable staff and professional health care specialists that know what they are doing. Finally able to get help with my Rosacea that I have had for more than 40 yrs. Such a blessing to get treatment that actually helps. So nice to be able to go without makeup again. Thank you to everyone there!

Usually when I notice new staff there is a learning curve, on this visit the staff was very helpful, kind, and from check in to check out, this staff was awesome. Much of what I would expect of my own staff. Nothing but stellar customer service!!! My provider Jessica is always very explanatory with her plan of treatment, and if insurance does not cover it I am always informed prior to anything being done. No hidden fees when checking out, thank all of you for what each of bring to this practice.

The office called me later and apologized that this whole matter was not handled properly and even offered a refund. I understand things happen sometimes and appreciate them reaching out to me in a sincere manner to resolve this issue. ------------------------------------ I've seen Dr. Blanco a few times and every time it was nothing but a good experience. My experience today had nothing to do with her. However, whoever it is that is responsible for their billing practice, it is totally fraudulent. So this is what happened: last week during my daughter's appointment, I was intrigued by their ads on display everywhere in the office about the discount you get this month for botox/dysport and all the other stuff. I asked about the kinds of cosmetic service they offer and price. They said they ran out of brochures and I can talk to the front desk. When I asked the front desk for information regarding the type of treatments and price they offer, they called one of their physician assistants who again would not give me much specific information and just told me i can make a consultation appointment. I felt it was a little too much to come back for a separate appointment just to get some information but said fine, I will come back. Today I went in for the consultation and they finally give me a brochure about the treatments and price, talk to me for about 5 minutes and take some photos of my face with a smart phone. And then when I was about to leave, they say I have to pay $50 for the consultation. This was NEVER mentioned before. First of all, I would've never gotten the "consultation" if i knew they were charging me more than i normally pay for a doctor's appointment. Second, $50 to give me some brochure and tell me how much stuff costs, seriously??? i cannot help but feel like that their whole cosmetic service is a money grubbing business and i was tricked into paying $50 for "consultation." The receptionist who demanded payment totally had a "whatever, not my problem" attitude, they seriously could use less people at the reception who are not helping their practice and cut their costs if they need to be a more profitable business.

The doctor is good and attentive, but the finance/billing team needs customer service training, as well as training and more information on the billling codes and how to charge the clients! Had a very unsatisfactory exchange with the team, that I now have to notify and work with my insurance company. They have lost a client!

The doctors here are outstanding, so kind and never rush you (Dr. Blanco specifically). 5+ out of 5 stars. My only issue is it seems like they are always on a delay. My appointment takes less than 5 minutes... but I’m there for an hour. It feels like they are really not considerate of my time or the fact that I also have a job. I leave so frustrated. I can only assume the delay is caused by the doctors’ genuine concern and care for their patients. It’s true that they always make you feel like you are in good hands and not rushed. If you are on a time crunch, choosing the first appointment of the day or the first appointment after lunch will help with that. The service is certainly worth it. EDIT: the office called to discuss this review and I greatly appreciated the follow up. It showed true professionalism on their part and I will continue being a patient, as this kind of service is hard to find.

Stellar practice. I'm a 70-year-old lady ultra runner. Needless to say my skin has its ups and downs. From beginning to end, this is THE place. Begin with Genesis at check-in - her beautiful smile, winning personality, and her commitment to value the time of others. Nurse Allie shares the love with easy records update and compassion. She gets the low down on what my concerns are, and assures me it will turn out OK. PA Abby Jordan is as good as they come. Whether it's a mole constantly irritated by my running vest or, dang it, some precancerous spots on my face, her diagnoses and treatments are spot on. My visit ends with Lindsay, who ALWAYS assures my visits are great and schedules my next follow-up. She is as friendly as they come. Billing is always accurate. LOVE this place. It is chock full of Earth Angels.

All of my appointments with Dr. Blanco have been positive in every sense. Dr. Blanco and her staff are punctual, efficient, courteous, respectful, and professional. As an older gentleman in a lower income level who values privacy & personal space, I can recommend Dr. Blanco without reservation!

Can't say enough good things about this group of doctors and support staff. Always professional, courteous and friendly. And, this is big, theyre always prompt/on time for appointments! On 2 occasions I really needed to see a Dr soon and they were able to juggle schedules and fill in where there were cancelations. I so appreciated that. Dr. Blanco is awesome! Highly recommend.
