This Fairfield by Marriott is very nice. The beds are comfortable and it has a very nice bathroom with a large walk in shower. They have great breakfast options and even had a gluten free muffin option. Our only disappointment is that a good phone charger cord was left plugged into the night stand and it wasn't turned in and returned to us.

Very clean. Great service. We ran out of body wash, but they replaced it pretty quickly. Very close to the aquarium with some good restaurants in walking distance. Breakfast was fantastic and waffles were delicious. Healthy options! Our only gripe was not having whole milk for my toddler, just 2%. Also the lounge chair in the room was a bit stiff to sit on. Would still certainly come again.

Nice place to stay when going to see the Reds or Bengals play while also checking out Downtown Cincinnati/Newport/Covington. Less than a mile from the fun atbNewport on the Levee, right next to several restaurants on Riverboat Road, three miles from Hard Rock Casino in Cincinnati and two miles from Great American Ballpark.

This hotel was excellent! Clean nice rooms, and the breakfast was good. We had 1 minor plumbing issue, and the staff was right on it.

Stayed here for one night (a Saturday night) it was close to the location I was attending. I would’ve gave 5 stars but due to the weekend I visited (August 19,2023) the price of the room was literally doubled and I booked well over a month in advance but other than that my bed was super comfortable, view was nice, fireworks were popped at night and it’s located next to sooo much (near the Newport aquarium). I would stay again and I definitely recommend.

Great location by the water. Room was clean and loved the sofa. This hotel is walking distance to a few restaurants and Starbucks. Front Desk staff provided great customer service and helpful with info. I wasn't impressed with breakfast provided. They served eggs, sausage and other items, but food was cold. I will definitely visit again.

The hotel is very well located. I went to Taylor Swift concert and it was the perfect location. We walked there, it is a little far, but for the price it was worth it. Pleasantly surprised how clean our room was. Very comfortable beds. We had some trouble with check in, but I believe it was because of the concert and our rooms were not available until late that day. Staff was amazing from check in until check out. Rooms are spacious, and bathrooms are very clean. I would highly recommend

It was a place to sleep at night. Loud traffic nearby, average cleanliness, below average customer service, understaffed. Could not honor handicap accessible reservation guarantee. Could have been worse, but also could have been a lot better.

If, like me, you are subject to staying at this hotel because it is one of the few places with availability, it is with good reason. First, let me state the positive. The location is fabulous, right on the river with beautiful views of the Cincinnati skyline at night. (Spend the extra $10 and pay for the view.) The hotel is also within walking distance of Newport on the Levee, fine dining, and even Cincinnati, if you don't mind an almost 2 mile walk. Otherwise, there is a shuttle that stops right in front and for only $1 takes you over the bridge. (We used it to get to Great American Ballpark.) The other big plus is free parking at the hotel, and some of it is covered. Sadly, those are all "exterior" pluses. The interior of the hotel is what accounts for my not-so-stellar rating. The lobby of the hotel is very small. The breakfast room was ample as well as the food. However, the housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired. I cannot for the life of me understand why this hotel gives disposable coffee cups at breakfast that are individually-wrapped for sanitary reasons, but does not use liners in the in-room garbage pails. I was absolutely skeeved! The bathroom garbage pail looked as if someone had cleaned their razor in it and there was a sticky substance on the bottom as well. The garage pail in the bedroom had remnants of tissue or paper in it. Not sanitary by any means! I asked the front desk if this was an usual practice. The one clerk answered that it was at her old hotel. Then she said the housekeepers wipe the pails out. The other didn't even look up at me. I asked for plastic bags to line the pails, and they had none. The one clerk gave me a liner that was for a large garbage can. I ended-up using it for my dirty laundry and using the dirty laundry bag in the room to line one pail and a disposable bag that I had with me from a purchase to line the other. In general, the housekeeping was not good. The room smelled stale, as if there had been a dog in it. But, the hotel is not pet-friendly. The rug had threads all over it, as if the vacuum used was full and spitting-out stuff that was already vacuumed. And, the shower could have been cleaner Also, there was literally about five sheets of toilet paper left on the roll and about three tissues left in the box. Is it too much to ask to replace with new, when the room is being turned-over? The other big minus: there is no top sheet on the bed. I know these are all first-world problems. But, probably like you, I work hard for my money. And, for that money, the in-room experience could have been a lot better. Thank you for reading this review.

Spent my birthday weekend in Cincinnati and chose to stay here…(BIG MISTAKE) Check in is at 4pm “supposedly” we get there and are informed by the rude lady with the blonde pulled back hair that our room isn’t ready. 5pm roles around and I receive a call stating our room is finally ready so we go to the front desk and are issued our room key and two WARM bottles of water and that’s it we got nothing in return for the hour we lost. To add insult to injury the room was dirty, hair and poop stains on the toilet and the room lacked a thorough cleaning. DO NOT waste your money staying here. Rude and dirty sums it up!!

Conveniently located to downtown Cincinnati. Easy access to the 471 which can take you to the 71 and 275 in minutes. Friendly staff. Well equipped rooms. Generously sized and stunning views of the Ohio river. Hard to go wrong when looking for an affordable hotel option.

Enjoyed a nice stay here with our kids for a few days while we went to a Reds game. I picked this hotel due to the budget friendly cost since this was a last minute trip I didn’t have planned for this year. This hotel is basic; but is in a great location, offers suite options which I love and includes a nice breakfast. Our kids are getting older so it was nice to be able to book a 2 bedroom site that was super budget friendly, have privacy away from the kids but still be in the same room. There are some great walkable food options nearby and we enjoyed a nice dinner at Cancun which is literally a 2 minute walk. We also walked to the Reds game so we didn’t have to pay to park. It was about a 20 minute walk and easy to navigate. The hotel room was large and spacious. Nothing fancy but clean and the beds were comfy. The breakfast had great options such as hot food, cereal, pastries, juice and coffee. Loved that the breakfast area overlooked the Ohio river. I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a hotel that is reasonable priced, but offers amenities and in a great location.

We had a nice stay here. Rooms clean, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Our room wasn't ready so we received a free upgrade. There were resteraunts within walking distance and over the bridge drive to Cincinatti. Very convenient. Would stay here again.

The renovation is beautiful! The new ownership did fantastic and is exactly what that area needs. The rooms are spacious, and our two bedded rooms were both KING SIZE. Very clean facility and walkable to all the attractions. Easy choice for a Newport / Cincinnati booking.

Newly renovated and upgraded nice rooms. The inside of the hotel looks nice and new and the workout room has a large amount of equipment to include free weights and cardio. I can't speak to the service yet since I don't have enough experience/interaction with them.

They did a great job with the renovation. The rooms are very well done and comfortable, the gym has a view of the river with brand new equipment, and the breakfast area is great also with a view of the river. We stayed on Labor Day weekend and were initially concerned about noise, but had no issues even though the hotel was near full. The hotel was clean and breakfast ran smoothly. And it's in a great area, walking distances to bars and restaurants. Would stay again.

I was so sincerely surprised when I walked in my room! Everything was spotlessly clean, (trust me I check EVERYTHING!) Sheets, comforter, pillows all perfect, the bed was so comfortable. My husband and i have stayed at at least 4 or 5 hotels in the last 6 months and this is by far the nicest hotel I have been in, on a long time!! Not to mention the price was equally amazingly! And the hot breakfast was pretty good as well!

Lovely renovated property with very thoughtful touches and details. Our room was a double king room.... that's right...TWO KING SiZE BEDS in one room. Additionally, the bathrooms are spacious with lots of counter space and a walk in shower. Lots of outlets for your gadgets and also hooks to hang things bags/purses/jackets on, no more trying to hang things from the sprinkler head! The light blocking curtains we wonderful for sleeping in. Location is fun and convenient, including a shuttle stop right in front of the hotel and free parking.
