One never knows where the road may take them when they stray from the beaten path and venture into the unknown, but at the end of those unknown roads sometimes lies treasure. Such is the case with Schwartz' Point. If you're a lover of the eclectic and intimate settings of jazz clubs of yesteryear or in the Bohemian style, as hushed places where the music is the focus and you have a good chance of making some friends before the evening is over, than look no further. Featuring a rotating calendar of guest artists and groups sure to please any palette Schwartz's Point is a gem of a jazz club. The drinks list is extensive and includes the standard range of in house specialty cocktails, wine, beer as well as their own house made cordials for Italian Sodas and of course a limited selection of "on-demand" of off menu drinks. Be advised though, that there is no food served so better to dine out first and then make this your port of call thereafter. To that end and due to the small nature of the club, reservations are highly encouraged. This can be done either via their website OR sending a text message. That isn't to say that you can't just walk in, but depending on the night and the performance you may have a harder time of getting seated, so in my opinion taking the few extra moments to call ahead or book a reservation can make a world of difference. The staff are a joy and truly care about your experience and will do everything they can to make sure you have the best visit possible. In an age of cookie cutter experiences and bars, to be able to step back to a time when you're not only appreciated as a customer, but treated like family and made to feel welcome. I can't recommend Schwartz' Point highly enough, it truly is a gem of a jazz club and a must visit for anyone who craves those jazz clubs of old where the lights were dim, people were huddled over their tables hanging on every note and lost in the pull of the music.

Awesome intimate spot! We listened to a Latin-inspired jazz band called Mambo Combo and they are amazing. Service was decent and the atmosphere was nice. It is small so reservations are highly recommended. We'll definitely be back!

A very pleasant place to go. I wish they had hors d'oeuvres there for people to snack on. Otherwise the staff is very courteous. I love the bands that they choose to play at their establishment.

It is a wonderful and intimate place to listen to very good Jazz music. That being said most of the Jazz clubs I see in Cincinnati do not serve entree’s or food (a bummer for sure) but do serve alcohol which is how Schwartz point is set up as well. Schwartz point however does serve some desserts that are enjoyable. There are certain decor rules about the volume of your speech when the bands are playing due probably due to size of the club. The people who work there and the people who are normals there are very inviting. I plan to go there again with my wife for another date.

Great staff, music, atmosphere, and cocktails. We didn’t have a reservation but they were able to seat us and were very kind and helpful with it being our first time! $5 cover charge and $5 drink minimum were very reasonable. They do take card but prefer cash.

Great classic jazz lounge a couple blocks from Findlay Market. On Sundays, the live music also includes Blues, Boogie Woogie, Latin and other mashups. We got one of the closest tables and loved it. Reminds me of the places I've enjoyed most in New Orleans and Manhattan. Best to make a reservation for this intimate venue, but walk-ins are welcome. The calendar of events on their website shows who'll be playing.

Nice first time experience. Chips and salsa was delicious. Alcoholic drinks were strong and tasty. Only wish staff would have enforced their rule of low voices during the performances a little bit more. People were loud almost the whole time

Had a wonderful time, it was my first experience at a jazz club and I will definitely be checking out more in the future as well as revisiting Schwartz's again if I'm ever in the area again. Highly recommend!

Great jazz club in Cincinnati. Small, but cozy. The live music and drinks were both good. There was a drink minimum and reservations are recommended.

For whatever reason my friend and I were completely ignored by the waitstaff while other customers walked right in and got drinks immediately. I felt pretty unwelcome here.

Great little venue with a great big band on Tuesday evenings and great live jazz music. Great place for live jazz and friendly folks. It is cash only. Ed Moss owns the place and plays the Keys. This place is one of the last of its kind. Update: 10/26/17 - I was saddened to learn that Ed had passed away, but thankful his daughter reopened it and its back to business as usual. Great music, environment, and its only getting better. The vibe lives on an it is still truly one of the last of its kind. Stop buy and enjoy some grest live jazz in one of the most unique venues in Cincinnati and support local. (They also take cards now).

This place is a real treasure. Small venue, intimate seating, and reliably excellent jazz. The people who work there really make you feel at home, too.

My wife and I was having date night and she found this place. Very relaxing and peaceful. It brought back memories of when we played instruments.

First and probably last time visiting this place. Walked in around 10pm with my lady, was given a table up front. 10 min later i ordered 2 drinks. 35 min later, still no drinks. We decide to leave quietly. Waiter walks outside to ask do we want our drinks. Really???

If you are looking for a jazz club then stop looking and go here! It’s a very intimate club, locally owned and the musicians really love music and are very talented. The staff are very friendly and service was great. They have awesome drinks, alcoholic and non alcoholic and espresso! They also have snacks and desserts. Really can’t recommend it enough, my husband and I can’t wait to come back next time we’re in town.

This is such a great place to experience live music. Schwartz’s is down to earth and cozy, with the building situated close to the Findlay Market area and OTR, within reach of UC Campus up the hill. The jazz and the atmosphere was top notch, the perfect way to end a night in Cincinnati.

Nice quaint lil place. No room to turn around but cozy! We were told we could sit but they may not get to us to take an order. We decided to order drink directly from bar...
