Authentic distillery, one of the last operated with steam. We took a guided tour of the distillery which was very informative and interesting. We were there in the off-season (much quieter to visit) so some parts were dismantled for repair/renovation/cleaning but it remains very impressive. After the visit, it’s time for the tasting and I can tell you in advance that you won’t leave without a bottle! 😉

What an experience. We were fortunate enough to arrive at the best time possible. First, you get to visit the distillery and do pretty much what you want on the grounds. The workers are there and you can talk to them and ask questions, amazing people. You get to see the whole process of making the rum. Now, about the best time. When we arrived, the fermentation was over and the distillation was on its way. That gives you a unique tasting experience, one very few get. Once you’re done with the tour, you can go in the shop and do more tastings. And that takes us to the second reason regarding the timing. On Apr 8th they launched the 2000 La Flibuste and we could taste that as well. The mansion next to the distillery is private property and can’t be visited. Why pay 15€ elsewhere when you can get the right experience for free?

Free visit, but with different explanatory panels of the different moments of production. Very interesting places full of history and authenticity. Many machines dismantled for maintenance due to off-season but still very impressive.

(Translated by Google) A must visit when the distillery is running. Very interesting and didactic circuit during which you will be able to visualize the arrival of the cane, its crushing, see the cane wine until the final distillation. And the tasting to end the superb visit ;) (Original) A visiter absolument lorsque la distillerie tourne. Circuit très intÊressant et didactique durant lequel vous pourrez visualiser l'arrivÊe de la canne, son broyage, voir le vin de canne jusqu'à la distillation finale. Et la dÊgustation pour clôturer la superbe visite ;)

There s nothing much to say that you must visit this family distillery. Even better if you could visit it from january to june during the harvest time suggested by the AOC appelation. Their products are unique and a good place for tasting new products, mostly white rums and a few ones aged in barrels. Cheers!

Very old factory in poor condition. Practically no degustation on site. Poor selection of rum and high prices. Sometimes prices are even higher than in a supermarket in the city. Not recommended at all. The waist of time and money.

(Translated by Google) Very good ! We visit the interior of the distillery while seeing the machines and the men working. Very local, definitely worth a visit. 10 minutes from Fort de France. I absolutely recommend. (Original) Trop bien ! On visite l'intÊrieur de la distillerie tout en voyant les machines et les hommes travailler. Très local, ça vaut vraiment le dÊtour. Interesting tour, great authentic atmosphere, you can walk all through the facility and speak to staff. However, the shop assistants were inattentive and unwelcoming, which ruined the great impressions from the tour

Nice, upclose glance at their distillerie area. It was raw, rustic and amazing that you could actually see some of the workers in action, working with the machinery. Very old world and non processed. We didn’t tour the Maison but it seemed beautiful and well kept. Obviously, the rum tasting was superb. Wish they would have opened up even more of their products to taste.

A beautiful visit to an authentic, no-frills distillery. Excellent welcome for the tasting, very good explanations from the young lady at the counter, which allows you to taste the rum while learning the flavors.

(Translated by Google) This is the best distillery to see when it's cane season (March/April). People work as if you weren't there and if you have any questions, I think they'll be happy to answer them. There is a brand new machine and the design of the bottles has changed and is much more attractive. The house is very pretty but can only be visited during heritage days. I recommend !
