It worth seeing due to magnificent garden with sculptures, lovely old authentic villa, nicely furnished, which will take you back into atmosphere of old times. There is a center of Modern Art here with different exhibitions and also the factory for producing rum where there are represented all stages of rum manufacturing. For 10 euros ticket you will get an audio guide telling the story of this property making high quality rum and also free tasting of drinks at the shop.

This was my absolute favorite. This distillery in a beautiful complex breathes its history on you. Extensive grounds with beautiful gardens, a painting exhibition and a gorgeous house decorated in the traditional Caribbean style of a bygone era. I was fascinated and had to go through the whole thing twice. Their rum tastes wonderful. This distillery is definitely not to be missed!

Hands down one of the best distillers of rum ever. It’s not just the distillery, there is a huge park, exhibition, museums etc. You can visit the place and book your entire day there. Also alot of well known people, celebrities, politicians were here in the past. This place really has a history. At the end rum tasting and a big shop you can buy your rum.

This is a very fun Rum distillery to visit. I am unsure of the cost of the tours or the actual rum, because when I visited it was a holiday for the island and they offered free self-guided tours, and a large amount of samples. Right outside the building there is an amazing outdoor viewing or museum of sculptures and art. The entire building and its surrounding is very well maintained and a great spot to relax. After your tour of the distillery, there is a gallery of art around the corner. I was not expecting to view all of a distillery, art, and a museum of sculptures at this single location. It is a self-guided tour, and they have bulletins that provide information in different languages, including English. My favorite part of the tour was being able to explore the barrel aging buildings. The Barrel rooms gave off an amazing scent that I just want as aftershave! During the venture of the tour, you will learn how they used to make rum with old school style tools, and the way they make rum today. They have a large selection of merchandise, and rum you can purchase. The tasting room is pretty packed, but the bartenders know a variety of languages!

Very beautiful place for relax and nice pictures as well as for tasting many types of rums. All employees were very nice, polite and all of them were tyring to speak in English. The barman was explaining us the origin and taste of each rum in English which was really nice!

This is a nice place if you want to spend a few hours at a garden with some arts and / or you interested in the history of rum production. At least as I was here it was not crowded so you can walk by your own and it was also no issue to find a parking lot. They also have a rum store right at this place, since I bought the ticket online I got 10 percent discount.

Beautiful and huge site. 2 hours minimum unless you are in a total rush. The garden is amazing and the historical production is also nicely presented. At the boutique you can taste as much as you like and there is a lot of stuff to taste. Better choose a driver first!

I don't even know how to start explaining this experience. Let's just say that if you could only visit one rum habitation in Martinique, it would have to be this one. The site is absolutely stunning and combines elements of a gorgeous park, with interactive museum like activities teaching you about rums and the site's history. You can also taste every rum they produce for free (pure or in ti-punch). Absolute must while in Martinique!

Very well kept site, great outdoors museum with modern art sculptures which was the star of the visit. The factory itself was not in use in December, probably because the cane hadn't been harvested yet. There was also a very high quality modern art exhibition of the Renault collection in a modern building, quite unexpected for a Caribbean museum. Rum tastings were rather cursory. All in all, aim to spend 2-3 hours here.

Great place to visit, outdoor walk between beautiful trees and modern art. Indoor tour of the stockage of rum and the old buildings. There is an audio guide available to download on your phone. At the end of the visit there is a souvenir shop with a great selection of Clément rums and possibility to taste different kinds of rum. A full visit takes between 1-3 hours and is well worth the price.

Excellent overview of many aspects of the modern aspects of the Rhum industry as it evolved into it's current state. The 12 Euros are worth the complete package of a self guided tour coupled with an audio guide. The gardens, views, and old/new distillery are in some ways frozen in time. Interestingly it is as the site of a famous Franco-American summit with Presidents' Bush and Francois Mitterrand on 14 May 1991 after the first Gulf War. Yes, take time to enjoy all the sites, including the two air-conditioned art museums.

Worth visiting - beautiful, quiet and full of various plants. We found the small mango fallen from the tree, very fresh and sweet!

Nice walk. Expensive, but you can try lots of rum at the end.

Amazing rum/sugar plantation. The grounds are splendid. Tours can be slightly confusing especially if you don't speak French. Definitely worth a visit though.

One of the greatest gems of the isle. The grounds are extremely well kept by a very diligent theme. The audio guide service which allows all guests to roam the natural areas and the factory, with detailed description of flora, fauna, history and rum manufacturing process is breathtaking. The modern art museum, where we just managed to get a last tour of the Africa Contemporary Art exhibition before it got changes was quite lucky. The only challenge we faced was that we were not allowed to test/taste all the flavors of rum in the shop :P

Highly recommended half day visit. Beautiful gardens with interesting art. History on the rhum distillery with free tastings and a walking tour of the house of Clement. Additionally, two well preserved art galleries as well. Very interesting and so much to see and do for the whole family.
