Not sure why but the bartender ignored me and took 2 people ahead of me. Got fish tacos and a beer. Fish tacos were not whole pieces. Just small chunks of crushed tilapia. Bad vibes from the bartender when I didn’t tip well. Maybe try better service?

I used to LOVE the fish and chips from here. Unfortunately, the quality has slid. The past few times I've ordered them, the fish has had a faint burnt taste. Additionally, 2 times I've been given something other than Tartar Sauce. One time it was Ranch the other was Blue Cheese. I suggest marking your sauce cups. Maybe TS for Tartar Sauce, BC for Blue Cheese, and R for Ranch so there's no more confusion. The employees are very nice and have great attitudes, but when they hand a customer fish and chips with a burnt taste, and blue cheese instead of tartar sauce I can't give you a glowing review. But I won't give up on them yet!! Hopefully they can fix these issues and I'll gladly revise my review.

This was the worst pizza I've ever eaten for $26. Can't bear to eat any of it. Gross! Instead of 1 star however, I give 3 stars because 1: This isn't a restaurant and it really really shouldn't be advertised as one, and 2: The bartender was nice. This pizza is identical to the kind they sell at the gas station for $5. Eat at your own risk.

This is a place that closes at 7pm. When we entered at 6:30, no one greeted us, people sitting at the bar gave us a look (not sure if one of them is a staff or not) but we definitely don’t feel welcomed. Everyone at that hour is drinking only, no one is eating food. No one came to us to take order and when we went out to ask, the answer is they are closing but still no courtesy shown and no intention of inviting us to order. A wired place.

I really enjoy the back area, nice and open but still covered. Nice to have an outdoor, and safer place to enjoy a drink than indoors in these days of covid. Bartender is very sweet, great tattoos, and yummy drinks.

Local restaurant and bar with a decent selection. There is a nice outdoor patio and tvs and a bar inside. There is parking outside on the street but it may get crowded during busy times. The food was just ok, got the steak which was decent but temperature was not correct. The French fries were good.

This place has been here a LONG time! I came here while in High School and that was over 45 years ago. There has now been a change of ownership and some of the charm has gone. What I liked before is that they used to have a condiment table offering a wide variety of ‘fixins’. While a modified version of this is still available, the mayo dispenser has been replaced by tiny plastic cups. So much for making my own mix (ketchup & mayo blend). Also, the patio has been pavered and the old growth plants are gone. Also absent are the reusable plastic bins, replace by china (along with a higher price). I was thrilled that they still served their signature burger (Starvin Marvin) but paying over $25.00 for a pair of burger and fries (w/o drinks) is a bit steep. It was nice that theu served the tap water (awesome since it’s from Hetch Hetchy) in a stylish bottle.

The ambiance is terrific! Large open dining on large covered deck out back with picnic style tables as well as full lounge seating for your group of friends to join you. The food is great. Medium priced. Good service. Brewskies to compliment the menu.

Pretty spacious bar in the front and I like the cozy, casual garden-like setting in the back even though the caltrain passes through next to it! You order your food n bev at the bar and they bring it out to you. Chicken wings, churros (very fresh), quesadillas were really good! Parking is a oh... A challenge! I got lucky but my friend parked a way long block away!

This is a quaint little place to go to for good food and music and if you desire a cocktail. I'm from out of state and I had a good time . I would recommend this for anyone who wants a chill atmosphere .

It's a bar with food. We ordered the pizza, supposed to be the best in Belmont. It was not. We asked for no onions. They put onions on it. We waited a long time for it in the first place. Took it back, then had to wait longer for them to make it again . Got a free beer out of it, but it's way too long, by that time.

Love coming here! Its a great neighborhood venue with a large outdoor patio & a friendly staff to help. The food is solid and they have a good selection of beers, wine & a full bar too. Limited parking but its worth the short walk!
