Travelled 30+ minutes to try the ultimate Detroit style pizza in Massachusetts, WORTH IT! Volo is easily a top 3 pizza ive ever had and without a doubt the best Detroit style. The owners are not only friendly, but genuine pizza chefs with a dedication to the craft. So glad i came here! The pepperoni and the classic cheese were delicious, cant wait to return and try one of the other variations.

What's to say that hasn't been covered? Flavorful sauce, great cheese pull, and a perfectly caramelized crust. Never had Detroit pizza before, but I'm an instant fan! There's a reason this place has such a good reputation, and it shined! Drove over an hour to try this place out, and boy was it worth it! BPW

Tried the Detroit style cheese and the New York style cheese both were great!! Its up there with the New Haven style pizza. My wife doesn't even like thick pan pizza and she loved the Detroit style. The crust was delicious and the gentleman making the pizza is very Friendly and took pride in his work.

I forgot to take a photo before serving, but this is the other half of a Detroit style pizza. 1.5 slices is all over every been able to manage and it's delicious! Though deep dish, Detroit pizza is different from Chicago style. Sometimes we just crave it! They offer a variety of toppings. New York style pizza is also on the menu if you'd like a more traditional pie. It's more expensive than your average pizza place, but the quality of the ingredients justifies the price. Try it, you won't be disappointed!

Delicious New York style pizza! Plenty of street parking around. There is a park near by where you can go after grabbing pizza and enjoy eating it outside. Came here on a Saturday night and although they were busy they were quick and pizza was great!

10/10! Detroit style pizza was perfectly made and amazing. Very good side salad as well. Super friendly people working here. All in all highly recommended and well worth a trip!

At first glance the price was a bit too high for a pizza. I didn’t like that part but after I received my order and sat down to eat. I could see why it’s on the pricier side. Everything you want and expect in a pizza Volo’s had it. Pizza was crispy, cheesy and the sauce/pepperoni were delicious too. I definitely eat allot and with 2 slices I was beyond full. Definitely would recommend this place. 5 stars ⭐️

Best pizza on the North Shore whether you are vegan or not!!! So yummy. I just wish there wasn’t an up charge on the vegan cheese, and that they were open on Mondays because I often find myself wanting pizza on a Monday. I would love to see more vegan toppings on offer in the future e.g., vegan proteins and Detroit style dough
