absolutely gross. The room had a smell and felt very unclean. Wet dirty towel smell from hallway to room. The walls had stains and were just gross... what a shame to be in a nice city like Irvine. The front desk lady was nice however. The hallways look so ran down and ghetto. There were plungers in the hallway, and trash. I ended up leaving after an hour because I couldn't imagine sleeping/parking here. I had plans, didn't want to make a scene, so I left without notifying the front desk. I booked with Chase points and Chase said the hotel management wouldn't approve a refund. How greedy and what a shame. I advise no one to stay here! The price I paid was around $200 without parking. Big NO. Room design is also sad. Bathrooms are the tiniest and toilets/water quality smell bad. Also the area is sketchy for irvine.

Clean room and nice hotel, to be expected with this brand, but a couple issues here. When we checked in everything was okay, the front desk person seemed a bit tired and not talkative and as we checked in it seemed the shift changed to a new person. Once we got in the room we were happy with how nice it is but someone else's name was on the screen, and there was food in the fridge which led us to go back and make sure we had the right room. Later when we showered there was a major leak that flooded the bathroom floor. After looking around I could see that there was some wood rot on the baseboards so it's been going on a while. Breakfast was good but with about 40 people eating and just one toaster they could use another, or just a conveyor toaster. No gluten free options except eggs and yogurt. Overall we liked our stay and would probably come back! This was our second time staying with the brand and we like them!

Pros: Friendly staff that is accommodating. We had to make some changes to our room situation and the service was great. They really took care of us. Decent breakfast with different options. Welcoming lobby and cool fireplace outside in the patio area. The location is super close to the airport and other common areas such as grocery stores and food. I really enjoyed the couch/desk area in the room, especially if you like bringing takeout back. Cons: The bathroom doors don’t shut all the way because they are held by tiny magnets at the top. They will open randomly while you are using the bathroom. The shower is not properly sealed, so when you shower, water leaks all over the floor. The pictures show the ground soaked when I uncomfortably showered with the shower head pointing in the corner. If you have a family, you quite literally need a new bath mat per shower. The cleaner used to clean the rooms smells so bad and does not smell clean or fresh whatsoever. The refrigerator tends to tip over when you open the door, so be aware if you are using it. As a guest, you have to pay $19/night to park your car. Also, both elevator inspections are expired as of about 6 months ago.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms were spacious and clean. The two queen room has water closet/sink separate from the bathtub/sink. Perfect for families.

I really loved this hotel! Upon my first night arriving, the front desk lady immediately knew me and greeted me very professionally and kindly. She also let me know of the amenities offered here, breakfast times, and specifically where my room is, etc. Getting into my room, it was pretty spacious and everything was in order. I will have to say, if you are someone that can’t sleep to some road traffic here and there during the evenings/nights, make sure to get a room away from the main road/freeway nearby. Not to mention the airport being around, you may hear some planes flying back and forth from the morning to about the evening (I’d say around 8 pm or 9pm is when there aren’t anymore airplanes flying to and from the nearby airport). Bed was nice and comfy for me, housekeeping also rocked!

Came in for a family wedding and booked at another hotel. Was surprised by the atmosphere considering how close it is to the airport. Kristina was awesome when I decided to switch hotels. I had a king size bed and the rooms are clean and I like the fact that the toilet is in a separate room from the main sink in the shower. The shower is walking which makes it great no tub which is fine by me

The blond girl with blue eyes(no glasses) at the front desk was very mono tone, with no personality. Had nothing to say. The breakfast server was excellent. The other service desk people were nice. Breakfast was nothing special.

I applied for a job to work at this hotel. Out of the 2 custodial jobs I had before, this has been the worst. For being a big Suite, they are very unorganized. The lady that trained me and I were given 17 rooms to finish. We were given cleaning equipment, but the gloves provided for us were the thin, loose plastic gloves that are used for food services. We had to wash and clean certain things, and all day long, the water and chemicals would get in the gloves. Since we had so many rooms to finish, we were not able to get out breaks, only a half-hour lunch. When I entered the lunch room, it was so gross. I didn't understand how being the custodial lunch room, it could be that dirty. To top it off, the restroom was placed in the middle of the room where everyone could hear you do our business & smell you after, while eating their lunch. Workers are being taken advantage of here honestly. There's better job opportunities out there if you are thinking of applying here.

We stayed here one night on a quick jaunt to the coast and found the hotel very nice with all the amenities you might need (gym, breakfast, wi-fi) and large comfy, clean rooms. The service was much better than other area hotels and half the cost. We would love to come back next time we want to stay on the coast for a few days or weekend.

Chriselda at the front desk welcomed us with a bright smile - She was super friendly and helpful. Adriana was also super helpful during breakfast time, she kept cleaning our table for us and asking if we would like something else. I will definitely come back from the service received from these two. The breakfast food was great - Omelettes, bagels, muffins, bread, eggs, bacon, sausage, yoghurt, cereal, fruit, juices, coffee, water, herbal tea, etc. The room were super clean and the beds were comfortable. Loved our stay!

I’ve grown to love the SpringHill brand because the rooms are large, there is a desk to do work and a sitting area for meetings. The bathroom is large enough to spread out and have 2 inside if needed

Very comfortable stay. They were very accommodating. Breakfast started at 7am on the weekends. Our team needed to leave before that, the hotel put together grab and go bags. They is what I call customer service .

Great hotel but not sure why they recently started charging for parking when it's not a secured lot. Breakfast was crazy busy but they did the best they could trying to keep everything stocked.

Basic hotel next to John Wayne airport. Price is great. Good breakfast, clean rooms and great service. Nothing fancy; I greatly appreciate the basic, clean hotel that has a good breakfast and nice people working there and the hotel doesn't price gouge you.

The hotel is very close to Irvine airport which is very convenient. Nice hotel with nice entrance and good service. The room is ok in size, not as large as in other hotels. I am not a fan of these type of shower. Mid bathroom, mid shower with a plastic tissue to close it. Very clean room. I did not had the chance to take the breakfast this time. Room setting: 4* Room ambiance: 4* Room cleanness: 5* Service: 4* Price/quality ratio: 4*

Great hotel and great front desk staff. The two ladies at the front desk each afternoon and evening were amazing and always helpful. The hotel was clean, breakfast was suitable and the workout area was wonderful for a quick walk after a long day.

The surroundings and environment are comfortable and I would recommend staying there. I truly appreciate the Hotel Manager, David. I left a shirt hanging in the closet when I stayed there last and David personally sent it back to me. I paid for the shipping because it was totally my mistake but I loved the personal touch where David called me and advised that if he handled it, it would be faster than to deal with a third party. I now have my shirt back! I appreciate the personal touch!

Great staff, housekeepers are polite as well as the front desk staff, the rooms are immaculate and very comfortable. It's right next to the airport so if you don't mind hearing planes all the time it's actually really nice. Free breakfast too

Good decent room and good service. The breakfast is the usual waffles, eggs, oatmeal. Coffee is not good at all. They have indoor pool and a small gym.

While others at this hotel pretended to give awesome service front desk person Austin and Christine ( I think that’s her name ) Gap that made the pancake batter were awesome. Austin went above and beyond to dig for my GF’s lost driver’s license had he not found it our return trip would’ve been an utter disaster. Thank u Austin and Christine for showing true concern for people and taking the time and energy to do the right thing. We need more people like u. To GM David Allan give this kid a raise or a promotion he’s what you need take it from another GM .

The stay was not happy. I have been a member with Marriott Bonvoy since 2019. I always book and only stay at Marriott hotels hotels. This is my FIRST TIME got denied at check in, stating my name does not match the name on my ID. This old man who works on 1/5 2 AM is giving me a very bad experience. I have company with me, he is not allowing my company being in the room with me. I am Marriott customer, who ever allow to enter my room is my freedom. I always respect anyone, but is very upset with such unhappy experience with Marriott.

We stayed at Spring Hill Suites to celebrate my son's 10th birthday. It was the perfect location with the indoor pool and miniature golf on the premises. The manager on duty Justin provided a warm welcome and other staffers like Kristina and Mariam were just as kind and professional. The room was perfect for our little family of three. We will certainly return for a special occasion or staycation:)

This hotel was such a great find. It’s very affordable, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are very spacious, the staff is amazingly friendly, it’s very clean, and the Wi-Fi is great and free, and it’s located in a nice area. My only complaint would be the pillows. They are not very comfortable, but not enough to bring my rating down. Oh yeah, and they even have oat milk here! The hiltons don’t even have that!! I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

Amazing staff! We missed our flight due to my girlfriend being super sick. They checked us in very quickly and gave us bottled water on the spot. Each time I went downstairs to grab some medicine, they asked how my girlfriend was doing. Not too mention how clean and quiet the hotel was! Would definitely stay here again.

I have stayed here twice for work and will be staying again next time. Very clean room, but the housekeeper must have sprayed the room and all surfaces with a VERY strong masculine smelling spray. 🤢 Staff was very friendly and attentive, continental breakfast was pretty decent and the pool was great.

This place is awesome. They have a pool that's actually open. Everyone is friendly. I don't write reviews often for hotels but the person that checked me in Kristina at the front desk is absolutely delightful and I had an amazing experience checking me in made me feel welcome , thank for hiring people like her. The rooms are amazing they have 1 full bathroom and 1 guest bathroom. The only thing is parking is $10 a day.

The room setup is very functional especially for business. The separation of toilet facilities from shower facilities in the room is very nice. Plenty of desk room with good lighting. The only drawback was that there was no real food uses within a convenient walking distance but there is a stocked pantry and frozen food section if you did want to cook in your room with the provided microwave. Having breakfast provided down in the foyer was also nice
