😠 Employees are great, but shareholder-profit focus has ruined this chain. 11am and there’s huge lines for the one open register and even bigger line for the few self-checkouts. Unacceptable. Employees are great, but shareholder-profit focus has ruined this chain. 11am and there’s huge lines for the one open register and even bigger line for the few self-checkouts. Unacceptable. Your purpose is to provide for your community, employees, and shareholders LAST not first. If I ever come here again and there’s only one register open, I’m leaving my cart there and shopping somewhere else.

Want to give a 5 star review for William in the Deli and Sharon running the self checkout near the customer service on Sunday November 13around 400pm. They both provided excellent and friendly customer service.

I have lived near this store for a year. The immediate impression is that it is large with lots of selection but the size is deceptive filled with home goods, seasonal items, clothes, and other stuff you don't need to get from the grocery store. In the year I've lived nearby, I've never seen a shallot or garlic clove I would eat. There is a surprisingly limited amount of pre-made food for a store of this size. The number of different brands they carry is extremely limited, and prices change dramatically week to week. The gas used to be cheaper than other nearby stations but is now consistently more expensive. Possibly the worst self checkout machines in any grocery store. Lastly, the hourly employees who work here are very nice. I hope they get more help someday because this place struggles to keep key items stocked all week.

They insist on putting every single produce item in its own plastic bag when you do pickup orders. Even if you request them not to in the order notes. I called the store and eventually got the manager and she told me “that’s how we do it because otherwise people will complain.” OK that may be true for some people, but the order packers are apparently instructed to ignore requests from customers who ask for NO bags. But whatever - it’s not like we’re running out of oil or anything…

This review is more about King Soopers as a whole and was just spawned at the candelas store. This sign clearly says "With card and digital coupon", but I did not get the 1.99 discount with my card. I got a 2.99 discount instead with the original price being 3.99. The lady at the counter informed me I had to have the app, which is clearly not the case. I took this picture and showed it to her and she said I had to have both. I DISAGREE entirely. You see, if I have the app, I would already have the card since they are linked, therefore it would be redundant and intentionally misleading to write "with card and digital coupon". The lady refused to budge, so here I am. Not only do I not want your stupid app, but you are effectively making it so that old and poor people can't get these discounts. We don't want an app for everything, we don't need to be on our phones for everything. These are grocery stores, not social media platforms. I refuse to give you another dollar and will do my shopping elsewhere from now on. If you decide to get rid of the super inconvenient app, I will return, but not until then. I really hope that others will join me.

Floral department was wonderful in ordering and providing flowers for our wedding centerpieces and aisle decor. They were beautiful for a great price!

This store has everything, even clothes. It's well organized and the employees have great customer service. I love this one, it's my favorite Kingsoopers in this state!

The order online and pickup is useless, ordered on 3 different occasions, drove 15 mins. to get there for them to tell me "oh we cancelled that order, we didn't have the items in stock you should have received an email with the cancellation". Yea, no email received, thanks for wasting my time. It's really not difficult for the admin to mark the items "out of stock" on the website, this is our workforce these days, useless 80%ers

I gotta say, we love this store and it's "our supermarket." It's only a few minutes from our house and we go about once a week, sometimes more. The selection is always good. The produce is very nice. We are very partial to the fried chicken and the bakery. We get all of our birthday cakes here. The clerks are always pleasant and helpful and we enjoy a quick chat while our groceries are checked out. We use the pharmacy and we're very happy with the pharmacists, who are professional, helpful, and efficient. We particularly enjoyed a visit from the Oscar Meyer Weener Mobile last spring. It was a cute and community-spirited thing to offer. We did find a small mistake in one of the sales tags in the produce section, which gave us a good chuckle. I submitted it to Next with Kyle Clark and I was delighted when they put it on the air.

This King Soopers is relatively new and is a state-of-the-art grocery store. It is a large store yet still easy to navigate. I shop there often and haven't had a bad experience.

Been going to king Soopers since I was a kid but King Soopers prices are insane now, do yourself the favor and go to Costco and Trader Joe’s WAY more bang for the buck going to those two places. And don’t give me any of that inflation BS they’ve been posting massive quarterly profits all year.

The best King Soopers in the area. My husband and I are from Ohio and we love Kroger there. So when we moved here, we had to go to King Sooper. This one has tons of options for vegetarians and vegans. It’s really large with a huge self checkout area for introverts. The other ones do not compare to the size and amount of options! We go here so we can get points for gas.

Good selection and nice employees. Presumably due to staffing issues they have a high number of self checkouts instead of cashiers and almost no baggers. Having just completed a 2 month camping trip through Arizona, UT, CA, Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Montana and bought groceries multiple times in each place, I can say this store has the longest checkout lines in the entire mountain west. Too much nearby housing growth and too few employees at this store.

There are very few registers open. There is always a very long wait to check out as a result. Expect to wait 10-15 minutes to get to a register.

Very nice & conveniently close to residence. We shop here about once a week or so. Most of the time they are very stocked. The bakery had very tasty donuts, almost as good as my Dad made wen he work with Kings, at a different location before he passed.

Great store, staff is excellent. Kinda disappointed in their doughnuts. I went in for some chocolate eclairs and the Bavarian cream in the middle was curdled and watered down. It's supposed to have a pudding like consistancy. Not so much. The raspberry jelly seemed curdled as well. Won't buy doughnuts here again.

Awesome King Soopers. Far superior to the West Woods Shopping Center location. Candelas has everything you could possibly need, the staff are very helpful, the store is clean, well-stocked and carries a wonderful selection of specialty items, kitchen and home items, clothing, natural products, etc. There is also a pharmacy. I was super surprised to find wine and spirits here, in addition to the good selection of craft beers. Having recently moved the area, this is the King Soopers I will shop at from now on.
