I was disappointed with the food here, mainly because it has received so many positive reviews, which I can’t understand. On the positive side, the restaurant is large and there are plenty of wait staff. The restaurant is lively, with a lot of movement and the décor is nice. Also on Wednesday night they have an “all you can eat” menu. On the other side, they have a “specials” menu that every single piece of sushi is made with Philadelphia Cream cheese (although I can’t totally blame Hokkai, since most Brazilian sushi restaurants use Philly in their sushi rolls, but Hokkai goes even further in that wrong direction). The cooked dishes were at best tasteless; most were very bad & I ended up sending them back unfinished. The sushi was like eating a photo of sushi, completely lacking any flavor. I really couldn’t recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants to have Japanese food of quality.

Very nice interior design and ambience. Private parking lot and vallet service when full. There is a kids playroom so it’s family friendly. Big varieties of sushi, from all you can eat to premium menu! Service is ok

Was a decent restaurant where sushi was nice but I’m not use to having cream cheese in sushi. However it seems like this is how Brazilian’s eat their sushi. The tempura was lovely. Dumplings were lovely. The sashimi was cut a bit too thick but still was okay. Overall a pleasant experience.

Food is great if you ever get any. They can't get an order right if their life depended on it.

Outstanding food, one of the best sushi places to go (but keep in mind that it's Western style sushi). Service was a bit slow and confused but it's still a great choice do dine. Prices are fair for the quality and the portions are well served

Delicious sushi with gorgeous presentation, you have to try the hot rolls! The sushi and the cucumber salad were impeccable but the edamame was underwhelming for the price. Be advised - at the end they made us pay four separate extra charges for condiments like pickled ginger and soy sauce that are usually free at these types of restaurants which left a bad taste in our mouth despite the delicious food.

Very standard sushi restaurant. We ordered one of the sushi boats and a chicken teriyaki. Unfortunately the both courses were not served at the same time. The chicken was super dry and tasteless. The sushi was fine. The ambiance is like in a fast food restaurant, plastic plants, sticky tables and TV screens. Disappointing.

The food was fresh and delicious, and service was top notch. And they even have a playground area for kids. The only complaint I'd have is about the 10% service fee, which to me, seems a bit high. But overall, a great place to dine.

Staff is very attentive, but the sushi did not have the quality we expected from the rating on Maps. It had too much cream cheese and the fish did not look very fresh. We left a bit disapointed.
