Place doesn't look bad well situated but my room definitely needed some work. It just seemed to be here lots of years and no remodeling. Also maybe it was my fault but it was smelling tobacco. The rest was ok I'll add some pics of the room.

Wow great hotel!!!! Good breakfast, staff knows English and is incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is a high rise and one of the few such in Foz De Iguacu. It is very reasonably priced too. They have a huge pool and the rooms are cleaned well every day. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the falls!!

We were traveling in a pretty big group (over 20 people) and rented a good amount of rooms. One of the rooms smelled like cigarettes so we needed to ask reception to change the room as the room shouldn't be open to accommodate new guests until the smell of cigarettes was gone (it literally smelled like someone just had a cigarette a few minutes before we entered the room). In another room we had an aircon unit full of mould. Yes, mould. Apparently the maintenance team checked and cleaned the unit, said that everything was okay but when we went back to the room the mould was still there. We went to the room with another person from the maintenance team and when we pointed out what the problem was, they looked surprised and said yes the room should not be in use. This is a health and safety issue. Not checking the unit properly and allowing people to stay in the room, even though they complained about it, and it caused them respiratory issues for the rest of the trip… It's a health and safety hazard that should be taken seriously as this complaint taken further can result in closing the venue. And the 3rd room was just simply dirty, there was debris from the walls in the bathroom and also some pieces of the wall on the floor. We asked 3 times, one lady even came and cleaned but of course didn't touch the bathroom. We had to go to reception 3 times and point out what is wrong. When the cleaner came to the room she said no it cannot be cleaned but I touched the floor and showed her that this can be removed. Also other parts of the room were only cleaned to the point where people 'cannot see' so under the beds there was a pretty good layer of dust, the mirror was only cleaned up to the table, not below. Very poor standards. Definitely it is not what we would expect from 4 star hotel. The only good thing about the hotel was one gentleman in the restaurant and breakfast. We tried to contact the manager but she was nowhere to be found for 3 days and then got back to us via email 1 week after we left. Very unprofessional.

Ageing but has character. Pool and related amenities are first rate. Rooms are good but lacking upkeep on lighting, electrical and TV. . Breakfast room and meals good but avoid the coffee. Lifts can be a challenge. There are three but only one or two operating during our 3 night stay.

No Coffee Maker, No microwave and No Iron in the room and No Free coffee during the day after the Breakfast. Stating in room 311 and based on reviews, I already have paid for the 4 days. Bad decision.

the slide is very dangerous, a woman almost drowned there and people hit their heads very badly. The remote control didn’t work at all and recepcion wasn’t good

We had a convention here. The rooms were adequate. The light and electrical outlet controls were in the headboard, old and hard to use.

Hotel Golden Park is a large hotel that seems to have had its hay day back in the 90s, and is still hanging on to stay relevant. It has very helpful staff who are happy to help however they can, but ultimately the hotel lacks many standard services and offers limited quality. We stayed here 20th June 2022 for 2 nights. We paid using Qantas Frequent Flyer Points (Australian) and paid 11,213 points, equivalent to $95.76AUD or $343.15BRL total. The Room ★★★☆☆ The room was quite small, but offered a stunning view of the surrounding city, out across the land towards the river (as the river is in a valley it is not visible). The bathroom was ok, but the shower head offered either a dribble of water or a blasting jet that almost hurt the shower itself was large and fully enclosed. The lighting in the bathroom was terribly dim and made it hard to see a lot while shaving, etc. The bed was extra large, and very nice, with additional blankets and pillows available in the room. The room is very dated and old, small, and not well lit, but nothing materially wrong with it. The Hotel ★★☆☆☆ The hotel is well located in the Centro or central district of Iguaçu, easy to walk to shopping, restaurants, but most of the main attractions in the region are a 20+ minute taxi ride away. The staff were nice, helpful and happy to help out but often very busy. On more than one occasion we waited 10+ minutes standing in a line to ask a simple question. The hotel has a pool, tiny bar, and restaurant with limited offerings. It is very 90s or early 2000s themed and looked and needs a major face list. The breakfast buffet was a bit of a disappointment. It had quite limited choices, but the food that it did have was mostly tasty and hot/cold as it was meant to be. Hotels of this size usually have a range of services including transfers, laundry, room service, etc, however this hotel did not offer any of these, though the staff were happy to connect us with local businesses who did. Overall this was a cheap hotel, however for the time of year and location we paid an average price, but felt the hotel was somewhat below average in its offerings. The staff were great, but this is not reason enough to stay. We wouldn’t discourage you from staying, but we’d look elsewhere ourselves for our next stay.

Room had cracks in the walls, no doors on robe, air conditioner couldn't cool the room, noisy plumbing, bathroom smelt mouldy. Tried to get a room change but told 'nothing available' when place felt abandoned. Avoid. Edit: on early checkout due to the above, turns out they did have other rooms available, and wanted to upgrade us. When pressed why there was a difference now, he was going to give us somebody else's booked room! This seemed wrong to me, and confirmed leaving as the right choice.

Good place only that people smoked somewhere and we could smell it in the room. This was a bit nasty. For the rest big rooms and enough space. Nice pool and good breakfast

This place was great. It was 4 blocks from the bus terminal which takes you to and from the airport, the falls, and city center. It's high rise gives stunning views of the city while it's pool and staff are very accommodating. Their front desk staff are superb. I've managed for Hilton for many years and have never had a desk staff suggest anything other than a taxi to get around so it was nice when it was suggested that to get to the falls was "very simple, you can just take bus 120 and it will take you straight there at a much less expensive rate than the taxi and is much more enjoyable". The only reason I did not rate it 5 stars is because it is in need of renovations which are currently underway so our next trip may be a 5 star experience :-)

It is a good value for money you will spend for a decent stay in Foz do Iguaçu City. The hotel is located in downtown, at a privileged location. Rooms are wide, the staff is friendly and attentive, the breakfast is good as wellas the snack bar. The swiming pool, sauna and the playroom is no big deal though.
