Hotel
Golden
Park
is
a
large
hotel
that
seems
to
have
had
its
hay
day
back
in
the
90s,
and
is
still
hanging
on
to
stay
relevant.
It
has
very
helpful
staff
who
are
happy
to
help
however
they
can,
but
ultimately
the
hotel
lacks
many
standard
services
and
offers
limited
quality.
We
stayed
here
20th
June
2022
for
2
nights.
We
paid
using
Qantas
Frequent
Flyer
Points
(Australian)
and
paid
11,213
points,
equivalent
to
$95.76AUD
or
$343.15BRL
total.
The
Room
★★★☆☆
The
room
was
quite
small,
but
offered
a
stunning
view
of
the
surrounding
city,
out
across
the
land
towards
the
river
(as
the
river
is
in
a
valley
it
is
not
visible).
The
bathroom
was
ok,
but
the
shower
head
offered
either
a
dribble
of
water
or
a
blasting
jet
that
almost
hurt
the
shower
itself
was
large
and
fully
enclosed.
The
lighting
in
the
bathroom
was
terribly
dim
and
made
it
hard
to
see
a
lot
while
shaving,
etc.
The
bed
was
extra
large,
and
very
nice,
with
additional
blankets
and
pillows
available
in
the
room.
The
room
is
very
dated
and
old,
small,
and
not
well
lit,
but
nothing
materially
wrong
with
it.
The
Hotel
★★☆☆☆
The
hotel
is
well
located
in
the
Centro
or
central
district
of
Iguaçu,
easy
to
walk
to
shopping,
restaurants,
but
most
of
the
main
attractions
in
the
region
are
a
20+
minute
taxi
ride
away.
The
staff
were
nice,
helpful
and
happy
to
help
out
but
often
very
busy.
On
more
than
one
occasion
we
waited
10+
minutes
standing
in
a
line
to
ask
a
simple
question.
The
hotel
has
a
pool,
tiny
bar,
and
restaurant
with
limited
offerings.
It
is
very
90s
or
early
2000s
themed
and
looked
and
needs
a
major
face
list.
The
breakfast
buffet
was
a
bit
of
a
disappointment.
It
had
quite
limited
choices,
but
the
food
that
it
did
have
was
mostly
tasty
and
hot/cold
as
it
was
meant
to
be.
Hotels
of
this
size
usually
have
a
range
of
services
including
transfers,
laundry,
room
service,
etc,
however
this
hotel
did
not
offer
any
of
these,
though
the
staff
were
happy
to
connect
us
with
local
businesses
who
did.
Overall
this
was
a
cheap
hotel,
however
for
the
time
of
year
and
location
we
paid
an
average
price,
but
felt
the
hotel
was
somewhat
below
average
in
its
offerings.
The
staff
were
great,
but
this
is
not
reason
enough
to
stay.
We
wouldn’t
discourage
you
from
staying,
but
we’d
look
elsewhere
ourselves
for
our
next
stay.
