Have the very basics to spend the night, the breakfast was a good deal. The rooms were small but comfy

I want to start with something nice. Breakfast was great and most of the employees were really nice. First off, I emailed them because they boast free airport shuttle. I emailed in English, he replied in Portuguese. The “free” airport shuttle is only one way. You are expected to pay for the return unless you just the love the hotel so much you decide to move in. Check in sucked. Again, the site boasted bilingual employees. Not the case. The room is about the smallest damn place in the world. The “queen” bed was two twin mattress thrown into a sleeping bag. I rolled into the space between them every night. It was terribly uncomfortable. The electric in the room is controlled by placing your key in the slot by the door. I’ve done this many times at different hotels only this one hardly ever worked or would stop working halfway through the night so the ac would stop and you’d wake up stuck in-between two mattresses in a pool of sweat. You’d have to get out of bed to mess with the key to get everything working again. Then there’s the 1970’s style switchboard on the headboard of the bed. At first I was sure it was just old and out of order but it was actually the key on the wall not working so the switches on the headboard wouldn’t turn anything on. Inevitably, when my husband would try and put his arm under my head at night he’d accidentally hit a switch that would turn on the lights or off the ac. It was a real craptastic setup. Oh, and the internet they say is so great on the website, it worked about half the time we were there and was incredibly slow. It was a great location close to some fun bars and great restaurants and the bus station to the falls was very close. Just splurge an extra $10 a night and I’m sure you can find a MUCH BETTER hotel.

Turrance hotel is a mediocre hotel to be in Foz do Iguaçu. The hotel can be rated as mediocre because it is acceptably clean, and the food is quite enjoyable, but the menu isn't really extensive. Also, the elevator is tiny. Sometimes it will take a while for you to go to your room, specially if you're staying in the top floors. Everyone is really nice, but there aren't many fluent English speakers. They can communicate in english though. To sum up, the hotel isn't top notch, but it delivers. So, I hope that you have a great stay if you decide to go there.

They charged me twice. I had to talk to 4 different front desk people for them to tell me they would refund me the money. They didn’t. I had my credit card company cancel one of the charges. Then Turrance hotel charged me AGAIN. I’m so upset that they keep stealing from me. Don’t trust them!

Simple rooms, but clean and comfortable. Nice employees and good food
