We
booked
five
nights
here
but
when
we
arrived
we
realised
we
had
made
a
mistake
with
the
pricing.
We
stayed
one
night
(as
we
arrived
late
at
night)
and
the
next
day
the
staff
helpfully
agreed
we
could
cancel
our
remaining
four
nights
and
we
were
grateful
for
that.
However,
we
must
say
that
unfortunately
we
cannot
see
how
this
is
a
five
star
hotel
or
worth
the
very
high
prices.
Breakfast
was
decent
(although
nothing
special)
but
the
food
at
dinner
at
the
restaurant
was
poorly
cooked
(we
had
to
send
a
steak
back)
and
took
over
45
minutes
to
arrive.
The
website
says
there
are
four
pools
but
it
is
really
one
pool
divided
into
sections.
The
pool
is
unheated
and
too
cold
to
swim
in.
We
booked
a
2
x
queen
bed
room
but
when
we
arrived
our
room
was
a
queen
plus
a
single
bed
and
an
infant
cot
bed.
They
did
switch
it
to
a
2
x
queen
bed
on
request
but
a
true
five
star
hotel
would
get
this
right
first
time.
The
bathroom
was
dirty
and
needs
modernising,
the
bath
tub
was
stained
yellow.
We
got
badly
bitten
by
insects
in
the
room
too.
We
had
to
ask
for
blankets
as
the
beds
were
made
up
only
with
sheets.
The
hotel
is
located
far
away
from
the
town
of
Puerto
Iguazu
in
the
jungle
which
gives
it
a
peaceful
setting.
But
it
means
guests
are
a
captive
audience
and
have
no
choice
but
to
eat
every
meal
at
the
hotel
or
pay
for
taxis.
Taxis
in
Puerto
Iguazu
are
much
more
expensive
than
elsewhere
in
Argentina.
It
costs
5,000
pesos
to
the
airport
and
also
to
the
Falls.
The
hotel
provides
a
free
transfer
from
the
airport
but
not
back
to
the
airport.
Overall
we
are
glad
we
decided
to
switch
hotels
and
while
we
were
grateful
for
the
professionalism
of
the
staff
when
we
asked
to
cancel,
we
think
the
hotel
overall
has
a
long
way
to
go
to
justify
its
star
rating
and
price
tag.
