👍👍 Very interesting to learn about their house building process. Señor Alfredo and his crew are very friendly and love to share their story. Bring a few bucks for a donation. It'd really help them out and the work they do. Only takes an hour at most to enjoy the home. Glad I went while in town. People often mention interesting, visit,

Very cool/interesting place, makes you think just how on board other countries should be with this. Very useful guide/volunteer (in Spanish). Costs 500 pesos to enter for a tourist but worth it, and very sustainable. An hour well spent

It was very interesting to see this creative way of transforming plastic trash to useful items and creating jobs. We bought a nice bag that is very handy. Thanks Ismael for the tour, even though we do not speak Spanish, you did it very well.

I didn't expect to enjoy a lot the visit, was more interested in the system for a future project, but the storie and the atmosphere are well worth the price. Very touching and leaves your feeling hope for the homo sapiens. It all started with a jobless father and a little girl wanting a house tree. Highly recommend

One if the interests things to do in iguazu. Very creative people. They show you how they built homes out of recycled plastic bottles. They have also a souvenir shop where you can a lot of nice things for cheap prices. Drawback they explain only in Spanish.

An interesting place to visit, if you have extra time to burn. They use plastic of various types to make walls, furniture, decorations. Price for us was $200 pesos per person. Prices are not listed.

Had a lovely visit to this place. Really interesting proof of concept with practical applications and a solid social ethos. Worth a visit, taking the regular local cataratas / waterfalls bus (ask the driver where to get off). Shop has some novel gifts from recycled items at good prices. We had a chance to chat with the original architect who began the project who happened to be on site that day. Informative tours in at least English and Spanish

Incredible...they used materials that most people throw away to build walls, make the foundation, Chairs and even a bed base for a mattress. They were very creative in making toys out of recycled materials. And they have workshops to teach people with few resources how to build a house out of recycled and used material like bottles and juice cartons. It is an amazing house.

I love their work and their mission. The volunteer who helped us was very kind, I would recommend for a quick 30 minute visit.

More than just a photo op, the purpose of this place is to help people rise out of poverty by teaching them a viable trade and to build their own houses from everyday materials (such as plastic bottles, milk cartons, wooden palettes, etc.) The man who runs this place, Alfedo, will personally greet you and tell you a little bit about his mission before turning over the rest of the tour to a guide, Alejandra. Both were very kind and knowledgeable. The cost of entrance is very cheap ($2500 Argentinian pesos, or less than $7 USD), so tips are encouraged. It's definitely one of those "off the beaten path" places, so you don't have to worry about tons of tourists. I went on a Saturday morning and was the only person there. Depending on how many photos you want to take and how much time you want to spend at the gift shop, I'd reserve about an hour or hour and a half for this activity. All this to stay, I highly recommend a visit.

A unique experience to visit a brilliant idea how to reuse plastic for better use. A simple visit yet a true vrey inspiration idea that was started on 2001

Perhaps a victim of it's own success? An interesting idea, but at $2000 per person, it is way too expensive!

Interesting place, the creativity of the owner doesn't have borders.. Entrance for 14.01.24 was 3500 peso arg (extranjero). The money goes to the development of project. It was almost empty so no crowds there, its also really small, you don't need more than half an hour in the place.

👍👍 Super fun tourist trap! Open bar in a cool 😎 setting. Half an hour of all you can drink for approx $9 USD. Not exactly a life changing experience but a good time overall.
