This is my second stay at this hotel- once 22 years ago on my honeymoon and now with a family of five. The staff has been extremely helpful and gracious. The rooms were perfect for us- two connecting rooms with a king bed and a room with three twins. The pool area with hot tubs, gym, hiking trail, and game room were all nice. The breakfasts were delicious and filling every day with fresh fruit and juices. We were able to walk to the Park Des Aves and to the National Park. We would like to stay here again.

The staff was excellent. Our check in was amazing and friendly. The breakfast staff were so sweet and very prompt. We ate at the bar two nights and they were fun and friendly. The bar food is just that, bar food. The people at the hotel and convenience to the falls make this location absolutely amazing. I took forever to make a final decision about this hotel and I am very glad I did. We loved hearing the birds from our room. The pool is crystal clear clean and the pool bar staff were attentive and friendly. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great hotel in walking distance to the park, bird zoo and helicopter tours. Amazing staff, great food and drinks, live music with dinner. Drinks and food a bit overpriced, otherwise everything amazing

At the time of this review, the star rating is 4.4, exactly 0.6 below where it deserves to be. I can honestly saw this was the best hotel stay I had in my life. We paid a very reasonable price and received 5 star hotel amenities, service, and overall treatment. The most memorable things are the small things such as a glass of champagne at check in or the mid day chocolates the staff stopped by to provide after a dip in the pool. The location is also fantastic, within walking distance from the Brazilian falls entrance (a hack we found out afterwards, you can get a taxi to bring you to the falls trail, waiting by the entrance there is a 1 hr wait for the park bus). The hotel was also very gracious in providing a later check out due to our evening flight, and everyone spoke Portuguese, Spanish, and English. There is a reason this hotel hasn't received a 1 star review in three years, and they shouldn't receive one any time soon. It's on the same calibur as the Belmond and other top hotels in the area. We already had seen the falls but would come back just for the hotel!

Best kept secret of iguazu. This is hands down the best hotel in our 9-hotel trip. 5 star facilities and service for a fraction of the price. Amazing service, delicious food at the bar and the restaurant, amazing drinks. Walking distance to the falls entrance. Wish I could live here.

The hotel is very well located. Close to the entrance to the Iquazu National Park, just next to the bird park (worth visiting). The path from the hotel to the river is great, we saw hummingbirds, monkeys and even snake. Lobby, garden and swimming pool are perfect. Two things should be improved- you cannot adjust the AC in room and it either blows directly at you with very cold air, or you can turn it off and you are very hot. And the second: we ordered dinner in the restaurant and the food wasn’t good value for the money. Breakfast and drinks and snacks in the pool bar were nice.

Still think of this place a lot. Perfect stay while visiting both the Brazilian and Argentinian aspects of the Iguazu Falls. rooms are quiet, space is quite large. Big pool area, spent most of my time in the spa or out by the piano. Staff are friendly and it has everything you would need. Could use a tad more equipment in the gym but still adequate.

Located just a short taxi ride from IGU airport, this luxury hotel is a 5-10 minute walk to the aviary Parque das Aves and the entrance to Brazil’s Iguaçu Falls national park. Well-appointed, if modestly-sized room, fine for our two-night stay. Excellent service. The abundant breakfast was outstanding. Enjoyed lounging at the pool (cabanas, jacuzzi, chill music, bar/restaurant) our last day. An interesting alternative to the Hotel das Cataratas and the Gran Melia Iguacu falls.

Very nice hotel, well located, attentive staff, intimate atmosphere. Comfortable and well equipped room. Too bad the bathroom is not up to the standards of the hotel, it deserves to be completely renovated.

Next to the bird park and a short walk from the bus to Iguaçu. The breakfast was great but one day they stopped the buffet and started table service. That cost one star. Poolside drinks service is excellent. Also, the singer Latino was there for dinner one night.

Overall a very nice hotel in a great spot near the national park with some big strenghts, but also a clear weakness. Strenghts: + Perfectly located about 600 meter to the national park + Beautiful hotel area with great swimming pool, excellent gym next and nicd park + Very good breakfast Weaknesses - Ridicolously expensive restaurant. Cheapest main course costs about 30 Euro (150 Real). Quality of food okay, but doesn't justifies the price at all. Nor does the service, everything takes pretty long and clear mistakes are not excused by the employees. We tried to avoid eating in the restaurant, but due to the location of the hotel sometimes it was necessary, which makes it even more frustrating. - There should be more water dispenser in the hotel. You have to walk to the gym or reception for that. Only one 0,5 liter water bottle provided per day by the hotel. Neutral / For a 5 star hotel at this price you could expect more modern rooms and at least the possibility to make a tea or coffee in the room. / A lot employees, that are motivated, but not always on point/capable.

Loved this hotel! The rooms are a little small but are comfortable and have everything you need. Walkable to the falls and bird park. Lovely grounds plus a great pool with hot tubs and a cute bar. Nice breakfast too with lots of variety. Highly recommend.

A top-of-the-line Hotel. The service is top-notch, the grounds are immaculate and the rooms are funtastic. They offer plush, soft robes and a pair of very fancy foam flip-flops! They offer a delicious, complimentary buffet.

Beautiful hotel with pool table, video games, tennis courts, spa, sauna, pool and turn down service at night. Live piano thurs - sunday. Amazing breakfast, excellent service. Close walk to bird park and Iguazu Falls.

Loved this hotel from start to finish. Felt so luxurious from the moment we arrived and the staff could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was absolutely amazing - fresh fruit, warm pastries and you could also order eggs benedict (and similar) at no extra cost. Pool area was so peaceful and picturesque with great facilities. Our flight wasn't until later in the evening and the hotel offered us late check out free of charge. Service, facilities and food were all fantastic. Rooms were very nice but a tiny bit small, that would be my only tiny negative point. I would 100% recommend this hotel.

Amazing! I was so tempted to book the Das Caratas a Belmond but I didn't like the look of the rooms there and it turns out you gain nothing by staying there. This hotel is great, staff is fantastic and location is perfect. Breakfast could definitely improve - they have no idea about pastries - and rooms could really do some more space. But value for money for sure. Pool area is lovely!

Very nice hotel close to the bird park (walking distance) and entrance to the Brazilian side of the falls, but otherwise far from anything else. Our room was very nice but small. Facilities (pool, exercise room, common areas) are very nice. Meals were excellent. Best caipirinhas we had in Brazil. Helpful english-speaking staff. Lovely place.

Excellent facilities and location. Enthusiastic, friendly staff made check in a pleasure. Best swimming pool in the area that I have found and the grounds are lovely. Love listening to the birds in the park next door.

Staff was extremely helpful, attentive, and the check-in exceptional even when compared to other “higher-end” hotels like the Belmond. The hotel has recently been renovated and it is next to the Park das Aves and a short trip from Iguaçú National Park.

Flight got cancelled and we had to find a quick night fix. Amazing place, loads of space around the resort, it's in between of being organized and keeping some wildness. Nice rooms, not very spacious, but clean and comfy, very helpful and friendly staff. We had a dinner in the hotels restaurant - Laryssa and Wilson took and amazing care of us! Thank you, it was lovely. The spicy jam with little tostaditas was soooooo good! Loved it, thank you!!!

Great place for relaxing and visiting one of the most beautiful world wonders, the Iguazú fall (triple frontier). Close to the airport, 10 min by taxi (5 usd), and 15 min walk from the park entrance on the Brazilian side (no need for a taxi just enjoy the walk). The hotel have an spectacular restaurant with an awesome menu (5stars) but if you want to try local cuisine or a great diner with a live show they can recommend and book you for other places. The rooms are pretty standard but great , anyway you won't spend much time in the room, there is a lot of activities to do inside and outside the hotel. The hotel have a soccer field, a road of approximately 40 min walk inside of the the hotel perimeters that can get you to a beautiful view to a river, a great pool, gym, spa and a play room. Also the hotel staff can help you to get the transport and permits to cross to the Argentinean or Paraguay side if you want to see the other side of the iguazu falls ....surely a place to comeback

When I booked this hotel, I was nervous, and not quite sure about how up-to-date this hotel would be, and the quality of service and amenities. However, I was definitely blown away by how amazing of an experience I had at this hotel. The hotel looks better than the photos. And the service, friendliness of the staff, cleanliness, quality of the amenities, including the pool, gym, spa, and restaurants were overall amazing. Besides Iguazu Falls, there is not much to do. So, staying at this hotel allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our weekend getaway. I cannot emphasize enough how friendly the staff was in accommodating us with a very generous late check out given our super late flight. they are also eager to help you book any excursions and transportation. My only feedback I have for improvement is that the breakfast options are not as great as I would hoped. It is mainly fruit and pastries. It would be lovely to have an omelette station. overall fantastic Stay at this hotel.
