Restaurante Cachara

Restaurant

👍 Very honest food and prices, the place could use some adjustments to make it more tidy, but it's still a good option. They have another restaurant inside a fishing club in the Porto Meira region, on the bank of the Paraná River, although it is smaller, I prefer it for the view of the border. People often mention fish,

The Cachara Restaurant is not a luxurious place but it is comfortable. They served homemade food, it felt like being in a Minas Gerais restaurant. Little seasoning, just the right amount. The dishes are very generous, serving 2 to 3 people. We ordered breaded chicken with additional beans and it was enough for 2 people. It serves very well. The prices are affordable and the service is good. There are toys for children.

When we arrived they were practically closing, but they still served us, the buffet didn't have many options of course due to the time of day because they were already collecting everything, but what was available was hot, well seasoned and fresh. The server came a few times to ask if we wanted any dish that wasn't there, she would provide it. Friendly and very attentive staff. Thank you for the kind way you treated us.

One of the tastiest foods I ate in Foz, recommended by an app driver. There were 2 of us, I ordered a mixed fish dish to serve 1 person, we both ate very well, there was fried fish, fish in shrimp sauce, fish with vinaigrette, pirão, rice and a super complete salad. Super affordable price and accepts VR!

We ordered complete fish, we were 6 people so we ordered 2; Order came very quickly and the dish was enough and there was still a little left over. The food was very tasty and the price was fair. I recommend.

    - Great location (Center); - Very delicious food; - Location with parking and playground for children; - Great price. Suggestion: Complete fish dish, serves 3 to 4 moderately hungry people.

The food is tired, although there is a variety of things made with fish, mainly fried. There is a pipe outlet in the middle of the room. My daughter ate Ceviche against my will and had an entire day of vomiting and being sick. We returned to SP with her feeling sick in the car and we had to stop in a city on the way so she could take IV fluids, etc.

Only fried fish. The only non-fried option on the menu (grilled pintail) they said they didn't have at that time. "Fish with shrimp sauce" on the menu is actually fried fish, with cheese and some shrimp. The most correct would be "parmigiana" (see photo). To make matters worse, when we complained, they didn't offer a solution. We arrived at the restaurant at 11:30 am (opening time) on a Sunday and left at 1 pm. Besides us, until that moment, only one other customer had entered the restaurant.

The food is good, but the service WAS good. Today, 10/03/2020, I went there for lunch and left immediately. With 40º heat and a thermal sensation of 50º, the environment is closed and the air conditioning units are turned off. One person just serving and rude. I asked to turn them on and they said NO. I said I would leave, she just turned her back. At the price of R$. 65.00 per person for an air-conditioned environment is the least that can be offered. It's hard? Close. Terrible, I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
