Unfortunately, I wasn't very happy with the care in the delivery room. I wished I didn't lie down because it was much easier to stand. The midwife kept urging me to lie down. Nothing was bearable lying down. Every request for a different position was rejected. She told me clearly "now you have had a bowel movement"...thank you... That's exactly what I wanted to know. And in the pushing phase she made me feel like I had failed "if you had pushed better in the last contraction, then the baby would be here by now" thank you. I had given everything... there was nothing more I could do... After giving birth, I could barely walk and received condescending looks because of it. But I was well looked after in the postpartum ward. Overall, I am very sad about this development.

I had cruciate ligament surgery in the clinic on Monday and had to stay in hospital for one night. The organization from admission to discharge was simply top. The waiting time until the operation was very short and everything went without stress or excitement. The nurses and doctors were super friendly, courteous and very, very caring. They took time for me as a patient. I would have another operation there and be admitted as an inpatient at any time (if it were necessary, which I hope not) and would/can only warmly recommend the clinic.

I had a planned caesarean section a few days ago and I am really overwhelmed and thrilled by the good care at the Sankt Elisabeth Clinic. The whole process went extremely well; the doctors, nurses and midwives are competent, sensitive and really great people. My husband and I can't imagine a better place to give birth! Thanks to the whole team!

Yvonne from Anesthesia Reception went out of her way to assist me, she was understanding, kind and friendly which really helped with any anxiety of an up-coming OP. Special thanks for your amazing efforts to Yvonne! And wonderful English as well!

Unfortunately, we cannot give more than 5 stars. I can never thank enough all the clinic staff, nurses, midwives, doctors and especially Dr. Jürgen Hanke who performed the cesarean operation. The midwives are very competent, they were there 24 hours a day, they tried to comfort my wife and be a moral support. My wife doesn't speak German very well so they spoke English and even French. With them we learn what it means "Humanity". We are very satisfied and highly recommended. Thank you so much for everything! Vielen Dank! Merci infiniment pour tout !شكرا!

We gave birth to our daughter at St. Elisabeth on August 28, 2023 as part of a planned imperial birth. We had a wonderful birth experience and very nice days in the family room on the postpartum ward. A cesarean section was planned for me for medical reasons. Although I am a statutory health insurance patient, the Caesarean birth was carried out by the head physician, Dr. Ziegelmüller-Uhlmann carried out. I immediately felt like I was in good hands and looked after with her. The chemistry was right from the first second and the long journey was of secondary importance to us. During the Caesarean birth, my partner was even allowed to take pictures, we were allowed to play our own playlist and after a short initial care, my daughter came straight to me in the bonding top. I haven't found any other clinic that offers this. The information discussion with the anesthesiologist was also excellently organized. The anesthetist on duty on the day of the operation had my complete trust from the start and, together with the entire surgical team, created a great atmosphere. He even came to visit me in the afternoon and asked how I was doing. We then recovered in a family room that was guaranteed in advance (which is not available anywhere else) in the postpartum ward. Here too we felt well looked after. From getting up for the first time, to pulling out the catheter, providing painkillers to handling our daughter for the first time - everything was really perfect. The culinary care was also very good for a hospital. I also don't want to leave the cleaning crew unmentioned, who cleaned our room every day in an exemplary manner. A big thank you again to everyone who made such an unforgettable start with our daughter possible.

I have to say that the staff is very important there. The midwife manager Danilie was really very caring and loving, as was Johanna (like a mother). Agnes was super motivating, but I was super disappointed with the midwife M.S. She sat next to us and was completely disinterested, said nothing and didn't motivate me or anything anything else! She didn't want to offer me any positions either, she just wanted me to lie down all the time, which just made it harder for me. It was lucky that Agnes came and things went really well! Unfortunately, this left me feeling very helpless, powerless, desperate and simply left to my own devices. I was just super shocked! When I got to the room, the staff was also very changeable. The nurse Heike was absolutely no support, I could hardly walk 8 hours after the birth (perineal tear, hemorrhoids and circulatory problems) I had to hear that I should probably change my child myself! This left me so insecure that I didn't even ask for help. It's lucky that the other sisters were completely the opposite, especially sister KATRIN!!! A real treasure for this station, she gave me sooooo good advice and gave me great support with breastfeeding. A competent, sensitive, very loving nurse. My little darling also thought her tips and tricks were great! Also a big compliment to Dr Schulz, he did a great job with the epidural, came into the room the day after and was also super caring!! Due to the negative experiences, I only stayed on the ward for 2 days and that because I had to (my child had to be monitored) Otherwise I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else; if the other midwives had stayed, my birth would certainly have ended much more positively!

I had a shoulder operation here. I would particularly like to praise the lady at reception. The entire team is also really friendly and helpful. I had severe pain in my shoulder after a wrong movement and had to call the emergency number. The lady at reception was friendly and helpful the doctor, Dr. Heemann, called me back straight away. Thank you for everything.

For a long time I thought about whether I should write a review or not but yes, I'm going to do it now. I gave birth to my first two children at Elisabeth in 2016 and 2018. I was really happy with everything, so I decided to give birth to my third child there. On March 8th, 2023 the time had come after I lost the mucous plug in the morning and we set off straight away. As we all know, child 3 comes faster, especially since child 2 was already born within 2 hours. Anyway, I tortured myself in 18! Hours passed until my little one was finally here. Because there were a lot of births that day, everything was very hectic. I didn't get the epidural that I wanted and unfortunately there was never a midwife constantly there to look after me. The final birth was just terrible because the contractions weren't strong enough I pushed it out more or less without contractions and I noticed how every cm had torn. Even after that, after measuring etc., my baby was simply left on the lounger with the words that he would come soon. Which wasn't the case. 3 weeks later I suddenly had really bad bleeding so I was taken to the hospital by ambulance. For 7 days they had been doing injections that were supposed to trigger contractions in order to be able to remove any leftover placenta. After another bleed back home I had to have myself scraped, which resulted in me losing a lot of blood. Conclusion: As soon as stress arises because of too many patients, you are unfortunately no longer well cared for. I had weak contractions and they would have had to give me an injection straight after the birth, so I could have saved myself the fear of bleeding to death afterwards. I am really very disappointed and will no longer recommend the Elisabeth Hospital! The 2 stars are only for the 2 births before.

I had a planned caesarean section last year, unfortunately I wasn't happy with the way it was handled in the operating room, the assembly line processing was to the point, the assistants and midwives were unfortunately not empathetic and seemed stressed and annoyed when you asked how long it would take you got a mushy answer. You're pretty excited, so you should be a little more sensitive. After my child was there and I was being hugged, I was asked once if everything was OK, otherwise I was alone behind the cloth. A little distraction would have been nice, because you are conscious and know that you are being picked on. The doctor was very nice and competent. After the operation I have to say that the staff who then looked after me and my child would like to give me 5 stars plus plus. The complete opposite of the operation. Very nice, empathetic, helpful, I felt really, really comfortable, I never once had the feeling that someone was setting off my alarm clock. For this reason, I would like to give birth to my second child there again and communicate beforehand that people should be a little more attentive to people in the operating room.

I have outpatient knee surgery today. All the employees I met were very friendly and open. I felt very comfortable and in good hands. The preparation and follow-up in sports therapy is and was also very good. I am confident that the coming weeks will show that the employees are not only friendly but also very competent.

😠 I have never saw such thing in my hole life. They throw out my wife from the sickroom, they couldn’t wait for me few more hours. She had a very serious operation just two days ago. When I was there, she was very exhausted and in pain. They should thank God that I don’t have enough money to sue them...

😠 We didn't go through the information desk. The woman there was tremendously rude with us. We decided to deliver the baby somewhere else as we couldn't believe how a clinic could have such unprofessional personnel working with them.
