Overrated burger 😅 really. Nothing especial about my burger or my partner’s. We ordered different ones and all of what we tasted inside was their sauce. It was swimming in the sauce. Fries were ok or meh. Sauces were salty and so full of mustard( senf ). The bread was good and tasty. Pricy too, 20 € per person 😬 Confusing menu which makes sense if it was automated where one types on a screen but to keep flipping the pages back and forth. Not cool 😤 just give me a burger 🍔 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ The view to the square is nice.

Phenomenal burgers! They have an extensive menu with several beef, chicken, vegetarian and vegan burger options. I’m not a vegetarian but was intrigued by the Hornträger burger walnut patty under their vegetarian selection and it was simply incredible, the best vegetarian burger I’ve ever had! The Vogelwild chicken burger was also delicious. The burger combos included drinks and we absolutely loved our servers’ recommendations of the Holunderblüte & Sommerwind. The staff are very friendly and the service was fast. Highly recommend.

Loved the burger and sweet potato fries. The option of getting a menu is the best as you get fries, cold as well as hot drink....its the best deal! Waiting time during rush hours can be 10-15mins but you will get a place! Plus the staff was well trained and service was good. Loved the experience in Heidelberg!

"That is a tasty burger." As an American on vacation, this is by far the best burger I've had in Europe and even better than most in the states. Friendly staff, fast service and fair prices. The staff all speak fluent English and German. This helped as our group were mixed with many languages.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant!!! The Vegan options are creative with there being many opportunities to try different things. I ordered the "Zeitgeist" burger which was crispy and full of flavour. The truffle mayo is gorgeous. The fries are skin on fries which always taste amazing and the atmosphere is so cute. I really recommend this place, its brilliant.

Restaurant is conveniently located right at the square. Seating inside the restaurant is quite tight. It was very busy during lunch and we waited some time to be served. But once order is taken, the drinks and food came fast. Burger with lunch time addons are good values. We had the classic burger with salad, a cold drink and a coffee, all for less €17 per set. Everything tasted good. Then we had to wait again to make payment. Very hard to catch waiting staff's attention. But I have to say that they all have wonderful dispositions although under tremendous pressure. Toilet is located at the basement with many steps to make. Not convenient for those with mobility issues.

Really tasty!!! And we were so lucky that dinner, we walked in randomly and got an available table. We all like everything we ordered. We can choice what we like in our meals. It is also recommended to anyone like vegetables, their salad is great. Must give 5 stars.

It's been such a delight. Wherever I see Hans IM Glück, I become hungry instantly. The burgers are out of this world. The service was awesome as well. This was a kind of a big order as we were taking it out to eat on the Philosophers Way on the the opposite hill to Heidelberg Old Town as in the picture. They prepared the order in such an elegant and yet quick way and sealed and packed everything carefully. We made it all the way to the top without anything dripping or falling apart. And as usual taste was the cherry on top.

Food was good. Really tasty. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Also meat. Staff was ok but that could be just because it was a really busy day when we were there. The sitting places weren't that nice. No backrest which isn't ideal after a long day of walking. Good location though. Good cocktails.

I went here for the first time after living in Heidelberg for several years, and it turns out to be a very nice burger place, and they have a full bar with beautiful cocktails! Usually in touristic areas the restaurants are not quite satisfying, but this one is pretty good. If you like burger you’ll like this place.

The interior is fantastic, very nice even though it is so narrow, it was very busy during our stay and we didn't have to wait too long for our food. The food was good overall. The service was one of the best I've ever had. He was funny, quick and despite that, he took a lot of time for us and the food he recommended to us was excellent, I think his name was Sersan. Great praise The only negative point I have is that the toilets smelled a bit bad, but I can understand that with so many guests.

The place is located in a beautiful part of the city, inside has its own vibe , outside was great. The food was amazing, we had 2 burger and my friends was completely satisfied with taste, portion size and quality. I myself had a falafel bowl and it was beyond my expectations. It was the star of the table. We had some Home made drinks which I forgot their names but absolutely worth the money. We went there just for simple food and we got surprised by the food and drinks. Staff was friendly and helpful and English speaking which it was big plus.

Not even close to the experience I had at other places from the same franchise. The personnel at the door almost didn't let me pass when I explained that friends were already seated inside. The lemonades are sweet water in this one. Burgers are ok. And the place is not as appealing as other better decorated like the one in Frankfurt for example.

This place is massive and if you eat inside you eat among the trees! I like that. We were quickly seated without a reservation outside on a Sunday. The waitresses were nice and pretty fast with everything. We both tried two different lemonades - ginger and mango and mint and blueberry. They were pretty sweet. I was happy with the number of vegetarian and vegan burgers they had. I had the vegan fried chicken burger and he had the spinach patty. Both were pretty good! Nothing super unique but still a really nice way to enjoy a meal in Heidelberg.

The atmosphere is very nice and the food was also good, its a bit too crowded on the peak hours, but very centrally located, so that makes sense, would recommend 👍

Located right in the Marktplatz in front of the Hotel zum Ritter and near the Church of the Holy Spirit, the place was bustling with people. There were plenty of vegan and vegetarian options and the menu was available in both English and German. Service was also good. Food tasted amazing; I got the Hippe Salad and Dragon-fruit and lime thirst-quencher. Definitely recommend going here!

Amazing food and great ambience - we went for the lunch deal (burger + side + beer + hot drink) which was more than enough for the two of us! They have their own sauces to go with the fries etc. and those amped up the meal.

Three of us went for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. We got right in. The host spoke English just like everyone else. The inside is really deformed well, with birch trees. They have a great lunch special where you get a burger, fries, a non alcoholic drink, and a hot drink at the end for $17. Everything was delicious. I ordered a Geissbock which was delicious. I also ordered a Brombeer cocktail, equally delicious. Service was great, and the food was even better. I definitely recommend it.

After a long time my wife and I visited a place that has broken the norm and tried to do something different in a successful way. They are in the heart of a historical city and yet very modern. It’s tight in terms of sitting space but people are friendly so you won’t mind or feel it. They’ve a great & tasty selection of vegetarian / vegan burgers and you wouldn’t be going wrong if you pick any. Cocktails are amazing. Staff is friendly and very nice. Priced right. The potato fries can be slightly slimmer. Sweet potato fries seemed to be better that potato.

A very nice restaurant with a very nice atmosphere and very nice decoration. You feel welcomed at this restaurant. The food is amazing. We had the lunch menu which includes a burger, frites, a cold drink and a coffee. I had the chicken burger and my girl had the vegetarian burger: very delicious. I would recommend the restaurant and the burgers.

Such a great burger spot with plentiful outside seating in a beautiful area. The vegetarian olive patty with avocado cream on sourdough bun was really delicious. The beef burgers were a hit as well. The kids loved the various sauces on the table and the fries were perfect. The lemonade was also really good. Highly recommend for lunch!

Great burgers with lots of choices for vegetarians. We had the lunch set with burger, side and drinks. The burgers were big and tasted pretty good. Loved the combination of different sauces too.

Definitely worth a visit if you are in Heidelberg. The staff is really accommodating, the place is stylish, the burgers 🍔 are tasty and the drinks 🥤 are delicious 😋 ( especially the ice tea peach-lime).

I was there with my friends and we have a lot of yummy food. The Interior was quite cool and loved the vegetarian food. They have updated the food menu. I would love to go again and again. Thanks for lovely food.

Great location but the quality of combo ( burger 🍔, cocktail 🍸 and salad 🥗) didn't worth 20 euros

Brioche was a bit dry, but the multigrain was nice. Tap water not drinkable. They don't even ask how you want your meat, and it of course comes beyond well-done. What a shame the burger was not up to the beautiful surroundings. Waitress was very nice and helpful.

Staff was not very friendly, it seemed like they were being forced to work there. Overpriced food which is just average. Atmosphere was ok

Very nice burgers ! The dessert with cookie dough was ok, better with a less amount of berry sauce..

This place is all thrills. They put so much emphasis on everything but the burger. The bread, the sauces, the toppings, yes there is a lot to choose from and some are ok, but the burger itself is just not good. A dry, overcooked, flavorless burger will never be good, no matter what you surround it with.

Always a good choice. A big variety of really tasty burgers. I was there with a vegan friend and she was amazed that they had lots of vegan options as well as for the sauces. Their limos are great too. Staff is friendly and the decoration is really cool. If you are ever in Heidelberg, you should try it.

I like this place BUT I have some remarks. Prices are generally a bit too high, the bathroom was in very very bad shape and although I appreciate the care for veg people like me, the veg burger has the same price of the mean one, while of course it should be lower. Service great.
